God's promise, freely given through faith in Jesus Christ.

Being a disciple of Jesus means being baptized into Christ, learning the Word of God, believing the Word of God, and obeying the Word of God.

Jesus gives us his Holy Spirit to call, gather, enlighten, sanctify, and preserve us in the true faith.

Jesus prays for his own, who are his Father’s children, that they would have unity and possess eternal life.

Baptism saves you because it unites you to Christ in his death and resurrection. Through this, God promises you a good conscience toward him.

Jesus is the way to the Father, truth incarnate, and the source of life.

Jesus shepherds his Church through the apostles’ teaching, the Lord’s Supper, and the prayers.

We have an imperishable inheritance kept for us in heaven, because we have been ransomed with the imperishable and precious blood of Christ, and this is promised to us in the imperishable, living and abiding Word of God.

Jesus of Nazareth is risen from the dead, and he lives forever. This gives us life, and it gives us something to live for.

Rejoice! Jesus the Christ has been raised from the dead to immortal and imperishable life, proving that he is the Son of God, he has made atonement for sins, and he will give eternal life to all who trust in him.

The Lord’s Supper is the true body and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ given unto us Christians to eat and to drink for the forgiveness of sins.

Jesus purchased his Kingdom by bleeding and dying for his people.

Jesus is the Light of the World. His Law is light, exposing sin, and his Gospel is light, turning darkness into light.

In the Second and Third Petitions we pray for God to give us his Spirit and Word so that we will be strengthened in the faith, look for his Kingdom, and live as his citizens now and forever.

Jesus is the promised seed of Eve, Abram, and David, who died and went into the ground in order to rise and give life to all who trust in him.

Jesus invites us to pray to his Father as “Our Father,” and Jesus makes this true by purchasing children for the Father by his holy and precious blood. The Lord’s Prayer is God’s will of what he desires to do in this world and in our lives. The first is that his Name would be kept holy among us, so that we can call upon his name for help.

Jesus was steadfastly obedient to his Father so that he could be the perfect and sinless sacrifice for sin.

Jesus is the glorious Son of God who was crucified for sin, raised from the dead, and lives and reigns forever.

Blessed are those who seek the Kingdom of Heaven, even amidst the pain of this world, because this world will pass away, and by faith in Jesus Christ, they will experience the glory of the world to come.

The Kingdom of Heaven came to earth in Jesus Christ so that he will bring us into the eternal form of his Kingdom in the New Creation.

Jesus is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.

Jesus identifies with sinners by his birth in poverty, baptism with sinners, and crucifixion with criminals, taking our sins upon himself and giving us his righteousness in its place.

The eternal Son of God, Jesus Christ, took on human flesh and was born in order to suffer and die as the Savior of the world.

Jesus is Immanuel (“God with us”), whose birth name, Jesus, means “Yahweh is salvation.”

Baptism works repentance and forgiveness of sins by joining us to the death and resurrection of Jesus. Therefore, the baptized live a constant life of repentance, returning in confession, being forgiven, and bearing the fruit of repentance.

Jesus came in humility to redeem us from sin through his death and resurrection. He still comes to us through his Word and Sacraments to deliver his forgiveness to us. We should walk in love as we anticipate the appearance of his eternal Kingdom.

By his death on a cross, Jesus reconciled sinners to God and purchased them for his Kingdom.

For those redeemed by Jesus’ blood and looking for his glorious appearance, it will be our final redemption, delivering us from evil forever.

Jesus is the living God who gives life through his resurrection from the dead.

Jesus is the King of Heaven who blesses those who trust in him.
