Jesus never reacted. He always took a second, took a breath, and framed His response to say what HE wanted to say - rather than reacting in the moment. He also shows us by example that some things don’t merit any response at all. After TWENTY years Joseph is brought face to face with his brothers who betrayed him and sold him into slavery. Although he would be completely justified to take revenge upon them, Joseph begins a process that provides for them and all their families - and leads to their ultimate restoration. As Joseph is brought before Pharaoh, he not only gives the king information… but he also has the understand to know what needs to be done.
