We have been exploring the fruit of our salvation through the Book of James, but today we veer off and explore the same concept as Jesus teaches it through his interaction with the rich young man in Matthew chapter 19. We may be able to "behave" well without the inspiration of God's Holy Spirit, but we are not able to enter the Kingdom of God lest we rid ourselves of every idol, repent, and turn to Him. We learn this through this story. I pray that it is something that we take to heart. It is Thursday but Sunday is coming!We will see you in church!
