When exposed to humor the bodies macrophages - "the clean up crew" - of the blood attacked the bad bacterium. Conversely, when the subjects were exposed to negative stimuli like a horror movie, the bad bacterium attacked the good macrophages. They discuss the clinical, personal and biblical aspects of the results of the study, as well as the surprising impact a person's outlook and mood may have on not only loved ones in close proximity, but also those thousands of miles away.
