Charles Spurgeon once said ”The word of God is like a caged lion. it does not need to be defended, it simply needs to be let out of its cage.” We aim to unlock the cage and unleash the scriptures from beginning to end to better grasp the authority, beauty and glory of God as He has revealed himself and His plan through the Holy Scriptures.Check our our Church website: https://cometolifebible.church/Download our mobile app:iPhone - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id6451267525Android - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.subsplashconsulting.s_N35VZCIf you want to support us Click the link below:https://secure.subsplash.com/ui/access/N35VZCThank you!

Faith that Functions: James 1:1-8 Joy in the Trials

Life is hard. Whether it's health crises, financial struggles, or watching loved ones suffer, we all face trials that test us to our core. But what if these difficulties aren't obstacles to our faith—but opportunities to develop faith that actually functions? This week we explored James 1:2-8, where Jesus's own brother tells us to "count it all joy" when we face various trials. Not because hardship is good, but because testing produces patience, and patience builds functional faith—the kind that works when life hits you hardest. We need faith that prepares us for real-world battles, not just theological debates. The most powerful testimonies aren't about easy lives—they're about God's strength made perfect in our weakness. When we ask God for wisdom in our struggles, He gives it liberally. The question is: will we let our trials refine us, or will we miss what God is doing in the midst of our pain? #FaithThatFunctions #JamesChapter1 #StrengthInWeakness #CountItAllJoy #FunctionalFaith

    Hosea 1-3

Ever feel like you've been unfaithful to God? The book of Hosea reveals a stunning truth: we ALL have. Through the prophet Hosea's heartbreaking marriage to an unfaithful wife, God paints a vivid picture of Israel's—and our own—spiritual adultery. God commanded Hosea to marry Gomer, knowing she would betray him, just as Israel betrayed God by chasing after false gods and idols. Yet in the midst of judgment comes an incredible promise: redemption. Hosea bought back his unfaithful wife at the price of a slave, foreshadowing how Christ would buy us back with His blood. The message is clear: whether Jew or Gentile, ancient or modern, we've all fallen short. We've all been unfaithful. But Jesus paid the price to redeem us. His death brought us new life, just as Methuselah's name prophesied judgment, and Hosea's life prophesied restoration. You were bought at a price. You are loved. You are redeemed. #Hosea #BiblicalProphecy #Redemption #UnfaithfulButLoved #GospelTruth

Bitter Sweet Prophetic calling of Ezekiel 1-3

Ever feel like God's plan for your life took an unexpected turn? Ezekiel trained his entire life to serve as a priest in the temple—only to be taken captive to Babylon before he could fulfill that calling. Everything he worked for seemed lost. But God had a different plan. In the midst of captivity, Ezekiel encountered the glory of God in an overwhelming vision and was called to be a prophet. His message? Speak truth even when people won't listen. God told him plainly: "Whether they hear or refuse, they will know that a prophet has been among them." The words were sweet as honey in his mouth but bitter in his stomach—because truth is both beautiful and costly. Here's the challenge for us today: Are we willing to share God's truth even when it's uncomfortable? God told Ezekiel that if he failed to warn people, their blood would be on his hands. We live under a new covenant, but the Great Commission still calls us to speak up. The fear of an awkward conversation is nothing compared to standing before a holy God knowing we stayed silent. #ProphetEzekiel #SpeakTruth #GreatCommission #FearOfGod #BiblicalCalling

Beyond the Grave: Living for a Mission Bigger Than Ourselves

Have you ever wondered what it means to be part of something bigger than yourself?   In this powerful message, we discover how the mission of God extends far beyond any one person's lifetime. Through the story of Elijah and Elisha in 2 Kings, we see how God's eternal purpose continues through generations. Just as Elisha completed the mission given to his mentor Elijah—anointing Hazael and Jehu as kings—we too are called to carry forward the Gospel message.   The question is: are we giving our whole hearts to the task, or are we settling for half-hearted effort? We have the complete Word of God at our fingertips, the story of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection—yet how deeply are we diving in? The mission isn't about us; it's about pointing others to the One who offers eternal life. Let's be part of God's incredible, eternal story together. #MissionOfGod #ElijahAndElisha #WholeHeartedFaith #EternalPurpose #2Kings

In The End Times: Daniel 12

Daniel 12 reminds us that God's promises are absolutely sure. Just as the prophecies in Daniel 11 came true exactly as predicted, we can trust that the end-times prophecies will unfold precisely as God has declared. Here's what struck me most: we're called to "occupy till He comes." That means doing business for the Kingdom until Christ returns. It's not about predicting every detail of the timeline—it's about faithfulness right now. Are we loving God with everything we've got? Are we making disciples and caring for the needy? Daniel was told to "go your way till the end" and promised his place in God's kingdom. That same promise is available to us. The question is: what are we doing with what God has given us? When Christ returns, will we hear "well done, good and faithful servant"? Keep serving. Keep loving. Keep occupying until He comes. #DanielProphecy #OccupyTillHeComes #EndTimes #FaithfulServant #GodsPromises

    The Book of Lamentations

The book of Lamentations shows us one of Israel's greatest prophets, Jeremiah, weeping over Jerusalem's destruction—losing his poetic structure by the final chapter because the pain was simply too much. Here's the powerful truth: it's okay to not be okay. It's okay to tell God when you're angry, confused, or devastated. Jeremiah held nothing back, and right in the center of his grief, he found hope: "Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness" (Lamentations 3:22-23). When life shatters your composure, don't hide behind religious language. Pour out your real heart to God. He already knows what you're feeling. The question is: will you be honest enough to let Him meet you there? Like Jeremiah, we can pray, "Turn us back to You, O Lord, and we will be restored." #Lamentations #GodsCompassion #HonestPrayer #GreatIsThyFaithfulness #BiblicalGrief

    Daniel 11

History isn't random—it's written by the hand of God. In Daniel 11, we see God's detailed knowledge of the future unfold with stunning accuracy. From the rise and fall of empires to the tyranny of Antiochus Epiphanes, every prophecy came to pass exactly as predicted. But here's the powerful truth: even in the darkest moments of history, God's promise remains—evil only lasts "for a time." Antiochus desecrated the temple, but the Maccabees fought back and God miraculously sustained the light. The future Antichrist will rise, but Christ will return as King of Kings to defeat him forever. No matter how dark our world becomes, our Redeemer is coming. Evil doesn't get the last word—Jesus does. When He returns on that white horse in Revelation 19, every knee will bow and His kingdom will reign eternally. Are you ready for the King's return? #Daniel11 #Prophecy #KingOfKings #ChristReturns #HopeInDarkness

    The Book of Jeremiah

Ever feel like God's asking you to do something impossible? Jeremiah sure did. Called as a young man to deliver the hardest message imaginable—that judgment was coming to Jerusalem—he watched as everyone rejected him, mocked him, and even plotted to kill him. Yet he couldn't stop speaking God's truth. Why? Because God's word burned in his heart like fire. Here's the stunning part: even in judgment, God's mercy shines through. After 70 years of exile, He promised restoration. And beyond that? An ultimate restoration when the Messiah sits on David's throne forever. The same God who kept His promises to bring His people back to Jerusalem will keep His promise to restore all things through Jesus. When God's truth burns in your heart, you can't hold it back—even when it costs you everything. Because the message is too good, and God is too faithful. #Jeremiah #GodsWord #PropheticTruth #FaithfulGod #MessiahIsComing

When God Makes a promise and eternal consequences: 2 Kings 7

When God makes a promise, He keeps it. Period. In 2 Kings 7, four lepers discovered an abandoned enemy camp—not because of Israel's military might, but because God caused the Syrian army to flee in terror. The prophet Elisha had promised the famine would end, and it did. Exactly as God said. Good food at low prices flooded the starving city overnight. But here's the sobering truth: one officer saw the miracle with his own eyes yet never tasted it. He died trampled at the gate because he rejected God's promise despite overwhelming evidence. Some people will always find an excuse to reject God, no matter what they witness. The question for us: Will we "go and see" like those who sought God's promise? Or will we reject the evidence for the excuse? The cross is real. The resurrection happened. Salvation is offered freely. Don't just believe THAT it's true—believe IN it. Put your faith in Jesus and receive the new life He offers. #GodsPromises #Faith #TrustGod #2Kings7 #Salvation

    Resurrection Sunday 2026

The despair of Friday is over. Death couldn't hold our Lord, and because of that, it has no power over us! This Easter, we explored Luke 24 and discovered something breathtaking: when the women arrived at Jesus' tomb, they found two angels standing beside the empty burial spot—just like the cherubim on either side of the Ark of the Covenant's mercy seat. The sacrifice was complete. The presence of God is now with us forever through the risen Christ. Jesus didn't just appear to comfort His followers—He opened the Scriptures from Moses through the prophets, showing how everything pointed to Him. And when He broke bread with the disciples on the road to Emmaus, their hearts burned within them. Does your heart burn when God's Word is opened to you? The resurrection isn't just historical—it's personal. Every shame, every guilt, every debt has been paid. You can live in freedom and hope because He is risen indeed! Now we get to share this life-changing message with a world desperate for hope. #HeIsRisen #ResurrectionSunday #EasterHope #Luke24 #EmptyTomb

    Good Friday 2026

The story you thought you knew just got deeper. This weekend, we celebrate the holiest days on our calendar—Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. But did you know Jesus's entire journey was foretold centuries before through the life of Joseph? Joseph was betrayed by his brothers for silver, falsely accused, and sentenced to prison alongside two criminals—one redeemed, one condemned. Sound familiar? Between them sat Joseph, just as Jesus hung between two thieves. The cupbearer (wine) was restored in three days. The baker (bread) faced judgment. In the middle was the suffering servant who would become the ruling king. Joseph's brothers rejected him, yet their rejection led to the salvation of nations. Israel rejected Jesus, yet that rejection opened the door for the world's redemption. Your debt has been paid. Every ounce of guilt, shame, and judgment—satisfied on the cross. There's nothing left for you to owe. This is our hope. This is our mission. The harvest is coming in. #GoodFriday #EasterWeekend #JosephAndJesus #SufferingServant #RedemptionStory

    Spiritual Warfare and Daniel 10

Ever wonder what's happening in the spiritual realm while you're praying? Daniel chapter 10 pulls back the curtain on an incredible reality: spiritual warfare is real, and our prayers matter more than we know. Daniel fasted and prayed for 21 days—and discovered that God sent an answer from day one. But a spiritual battle raged for those same 21 days before the message could break through. The "prince of Persia" withstood God's messenger until the archangel Michael joined the fight. This isn't mythology—it's the unseen war over nations, regions, and even our own communities. What if the spiritual darkness in your city isn't just random? What if consistent, strategic prayer could break strongholds that keep people blind to truth? Daniel teaches us that persistence in prayer isn't pointless—it's partnering with heaven's army in the battle for souls. Maybe it's time we took spiritual warfare as seriously as Daniel did. #DanielChapter10 #SpiritualWarfare #PowerOfPrayer #PersistentPrayer #AngelicRealm

    Sola Scriptura

How do we know what's truly Scripture? And can we trust the Bible alone as our authority? This week we concluded our Five Solas series by diving into Sola Scriptura—Scripture alone as our infallible rule of faith. We explored the powerful truth that Jesus Himself affirmed the 39-book Old Testament canon, holding the Pharisees accountable to "what is written." The early church fathers like Augustine and John Chrysostom taught that Scripture is our ultimate standard, not human tradition or institutional authority. Here's the remarkable part: we don't need a church hierarchy to tell us what Scripture is. The New Testament writers affirmed each other's writings as Scripture—Peter acknowledged Paul, Paul quoted Luke, and the direct disciples of Jesus gave us the foundation we can trust. What's written in God's Word is sufficient to equip us completely for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The gospel unites us across denominational lines. If you agree with Scripture, you're standing on solid ground. #SolaScriptura #ScriptureAlone #FiveSolas #BibleTruth #ReformationTheology

Soli Deo Gloria: To the Glory of God Alone

During the Reformation, the church rediscovered a foundational truth: Soli Deo Gloria—to God alone belongs the glory. Our salvation isn't achieved through institutions, traditions, or our own efforts. It comes through God's grace alone, by faith alone, in Christ alone—all for His glory alone. The early church understood this. When human traditions create obstacles between us and God, we've lost our way. But the truth remains unchanged: God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He alone is our Savior, and worship belongs to Him alone. Are you resting your hope in yourself or in the only One who can save? Salvation glorifies God because it reveals His mercy, His goodness, and His unmatched holiness. #SoliDeoGloria #FiveSolas #Reformation #GodsGlory #SalvationByGrace

Hope in the Dark Times: 2 Kings 6:24-7:2

Sometimes the breakthrough you're praying for is just one day away. But will you have the faith to hold on? This week we explored 2 Kings 6-7, where Israel faced their darkest hour under siege. Famine drove people to unthinkable desperation. The king blamed God's prophet instead of turning to God in repentance. Yet in the midst of accusation and darkness, God promised: "Tomorrow, the famine ends." The tragedy? Some gave up just before dawn broke. They couldn't wait one more day for the miracle that was already on its way. How often do we do the same—losing hope right before God's answer arrives? The same God who loved you enough to send Jesus is the same God walking with you through your darkest valley. Your breakthrough may be closer than you think. Don't give up. The payoff is worth the wait, and hope is on the way. #FaithInDarkTimes #HopeIsOnTheWay #2Kings #DontGiveUp #TrustGod

Vision Pointing to the END: Daniel 8

Ever wonder why God gives us glimpses of the future? In Daniel 8, we discover it's not just about satisfying our curiosity—it's about calling us to faithfulness. Daniel witnessed an incredible vision: a ram with two horns (Persia) conquered by a swift goat (Greece under Alexander the Great). But the vision went deeper, pointing to a "little horn"—historically fulfilled by Antiochus Epiphanes who desecrated the temple, yet ultimately foreshadowing the Antichrist to come. This is the "already, not yet" of prophecy—history that teaches us about the future. Here's the powerful truth: Daniel didn't understand everything he saw, and that's okay. What mattered was his faithfulness. The angel told him these visions were "for the time of the end," and Daniel remained faithful despite the mystery. The same invitation stands for us today—be faithful, because only the faithful will experience how God's plan ultimately unfolds. Are you living faithfully even when you don't understand everything? That's the heart of discipleship. #DanielsProphecy #FaithfulToTheEnd #EndTimesProphecy #TrustGod #BiblicalProphecy

God is bigger than your Problem: 2 kings 6:1-23

When the entire army of Syria surrounded one prophet, his servant panicked: "What shall we do?" But Elisha's response changed everything: "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them." When God opened the servant's eyes, he saw the mountain full of horses and chariots of fire protecting them. Here's the truth we all need to hear: our problems are never too small for God's attention, and our enemies are never too big for God's army. Whether you're facing spiritual battles, personal struggles, or overwhelming circumstances, the spiritual realm is real and God's forces far outnumber anything against you. The most powerful part? Instead of destroying the enemy army, Elisha fed them a feast. That's exactly what Jesus offers us—instead of the death we deserve, He gives us the feast of salvation and fellowship with Him. If God is for us, who can be against us? We may not always see the whole picture, but we know whose side we're on. And that changes everything. #GodsArmy #SpiritualWarfare #FaithOverFear #2Kings6 #TrustGod

Vision of the 4 Beasts: Daniel 7

Ever wonder what Daniel's mysterious visions in chapter 7 really mean? Four beasts, ten horns, and a little horn speaking blasphemies—it sounds confusing, but the message is crystal clear: Christ wins. Daniel saw successive kingdoms rise and fall—Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome—all leading to a final kingdom where the Antichrist emerges. But here's the hope: "With the clouds of heaven there came one like the Son of Man...to him was given dominion and glory and an everlasting kingdom" (Daniel 7:13-14). Jesus himself quoted these very words, claiming His divine authority. Yes, judgment is coming. Yes, tribulation will be hard. But the saints will possess the kingdom forever. We get to rule and reign with Christ in His millennial kingdom and eternal state. The end isn't scary—it's glorious victory for those who belong to Him. Don't despise prophecy. Hold fast to what is good. The King is coming back. #Daniel7 #EndTimes #SonOfMan #ChristReturns #ProphecyMatters

Sola Fide - Through Faith Alone

We can't earn heaven—our works mean nothing. But Christ's work means everything. Justification comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Not by what we do, but by what He did. Humble yourself, trust His sacrifice, and let your works flow from that faith.

  21. 376

Expect the Unexpected: 2 Kings 5

Sometimes God's blessings come in the most unexpected packages. In 2 Kings 5, Naaman—a powerful enemy commander—found healing when he least expected it, while Elisha's own servant fell into betrayal.  The lesson? God's grace isn't limited by our expectations or boundaries. Naaman almost walked away from his miracle because it didn't look the way he thought it should. He wanted respect and ceremony, but God offered simple obedience: dip in the Jordan seven times. When we narrow our view of how God should work, we risk missing His blessing entirely. The gospel is for everyone—Jew and Gentile, friend and enemy. The people you think are too far gone might be the very ones God is drawing near. And sometimes those closest to faith can stumble. Stay discerning, keep praying for the "impossible" cases, and don't be afraid to love your enemies. You never know what your obedience might unlock. #UnexpectedGrace #2Kings5 #GodsLoveForAll #BeyondExpectations #FaithAndObedience

Daniel and the Lions Den: Ch. 6

What would you do if following God could cost you everything?   Daniel faced that choice. When a law was passed forbidding prayer to anyone but the king, Daniel didn't hide his faith or compromise. He opened his windows toward Jerusalem and prayed boldly—three times a day—knowing it meant the lion's den. His faithfulness wasn't quiet or timid; it was courageous and public. And God shut the mouths of the lions.   Here's the powerful truth: Daniel's boldness wasn't about him. It pointed everyone—even the king who threw him in the pit—to the one true God whose kingdom endures forever. When we live faithfully, our lives become testimonies that outlast us, pointing others to the eternal God.   The same God who delivered Daniel walks with us through every pit we face. What can the world truly take from us when our lives already belong to Him?   #FaithfulLiving #DanielAndTheLions #BoldFaith #GodDelivers #EternalKingdom

    Sola Gratia: By Grace Alone

You were never meant to carry the weight of proving your worth to God. Martin Luther spent years punishing himself—fasting, sleep deprivation, even self-flagellation—desperately trying to earn God's love. But when he finally opened Scripture, everything changed.   The truth? You'll never be good enough. But Jesus is. And that's the entire point of the gospel. When the enemy whispers your failures and unworthiness, you can answer: "You're right—I'm not worthy. But I know Someone who is, and His name is Jesus Christ."   Ephesians 2:8-9 reminds us: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." The measuring stick was never you or me—it was always Jesus. His righteousness covers our shame. His sacrifice outweighs our sin.   Stop striving. Start trusting. Grace alone saves you.   #SolaGratia #GraceAlone #Ephesians2 #ReformationTheology #UnmeritedFavor

    Fasting: Isaiah 58

Are you going through the motions of faith without letting it transform your heart? This week we explored Isaiah 58 and discovered what God really wants from our spiritual practices. The Israelites were fasting, sacrificing, and following all the rituals—but God said their hearts weren't in it. They were performing religion to look holy, not to draw near to Him. Sound familiar? Jesus warned against the same thing in Matthew 6, telling us not to fast for show, but in secret before our Father. True fasting isn't about impressing others or manipulating God like a vending machine. It's about humility, repentance, and seeking His will. When we fast properly, God says we should use what we save to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and care for the oppressed. That's when He hears us. That's when our light breaks forth like the morning. Is your spiritual life authentic, or just ritual? God is looking for hearts that genuinely seek Him, not religious performances. #Isaiah58 #BiblicalFasting #AuthenticFaith #SpiritualDiscipline #HeartOverRitual

There's Death in the Pot! 2 Kings 4:38-44

Ever wonder how something so small can stop your progress? Just like a tiny pebble can halt a shopping cart, a little bit of sin contaminates everything. But here's the good news: we serve a God who specializes in making the contaminated clean. This week we explored 2 Kings 4, where Elisha cleaned a poisoned pot and multiplied bread to feed a hundred hungry prophets. Sound familiar? It's a beautiful foreshadowing of Jesus, who fed thousands with five loaves and two fish—and offers us so much more. He doesn't just feed our bodies; He feeds our souls with living water and bread from heaven. We can't cleanse ourselves from sin, but Christ can. He's the outside source we desperately need. What are you consuming spiritually? Are you feasting on God's Word or filling your mind with things that contaminate? Romans 12:2 reminds us to be transformed by renewing our minds. Jesus takes what's broken and makes it whole. He takes what's contaminated and makes it clean. And there's always enough—with leftovers. #SpiritualNourishment #ElishaAndJesus #2Kings4 #TransformedByChrist #RenewYourMind

    God is a Promise Keeper

Ever wonder if God will really keep His promises? Look at history: hundreds of prophecies about Jesus's first coming were fulfilled with stunning precision. Now Scripture tells us prophecies about His second coming outnumber those eight to one. If God was that reliable before, how much more can we trust what He's promised next? Isaiah 2 paints an incredible picture—Jesus reigning from Jerusalem, nations streaming to learn from Him, weapons transformed into farming tools, and genuine peace covering the earth. But before that kingdom comes, there's a day of reckoning when everything we've built in pride will crumble, and only God will be exalted. Here's the question: Do we actually live with this hope? When Jesus taught us to pray "Your kingdom come," He was asking us to long for His return. Are we praying for it? Meditating on it? Or are we so focused on today's battles that we've forgotten we're on the winning side? God is a promise keeper. The same reliability that brought Jesus the first time guarantees He's coming back. #SecondComing #BookOfIsaiah #KingdomOfGod #BiblicalProphecy #ChristianHope

    Proactive Faith: 2 kings 4:8-37

When tragedy strikes, where do you turn first? This week's message challenges us to develop a proactive faith—one that seeks God before the crisis hits, not just when we're desperate. The story of the Shunammite woman in 2 Kings 4 shows us someone who didn't wait to be asked. She saw a need and filled it. She blessed God's prophet without expecting anything in return. And when the worst happened—when her miracle son died—her first instinct wasn't to panic or grieve alone. She ran straight to God's presence. Here's the truth: building that kind of faith doesn't happen overnight. It's formed in the daily choices to seek God first, to serve without being asked, and to trust Him completely—even when life doesn't make sense. Are you being proactive in your relationship with God, or just reacting when things fall apart? The good news? The same God who raised that boy to life offers eternal life through Jesus. That's a promise worth running toward. #ProactiveFaith #2Kings4 #SeekGodFirst #FaithInAction #EternalLife

    Nebuchadnezzar's Farewell Address: Daniel 4

Ever felt like you're on top of the world, only to realize you've been building your kingdom instead of honoring God's? King Nebuchadnezzar learned this the hard way. In Daniel 4, we witness the powerful story of a king who had everything—wealth, power, an empire—yet lost it all when pride consumed him. God humbled him for seven years until he finally looked up to heaven and acknowledged the true King. When Nebuchadnezzar surrendered to God's truth, his sanity and kingdom were restored. But here's the beautiful part: he didn't keep it to himself. He shared his story with the entire nation, pointing them to the one true God. If Nebuchadnezzar wasn't too far gone, neither is anyone you're praying for. Keep seeking God's truth, surrender to it daily, and share your story. Your testimony might be exactly what someone needs to hear today. #SeekTruth #HumbleYourself #Daniel4 #ShareYourStory #GodsRedemption

"To Whom Will You Compare Me?" Isaiah 40-48

We fill our lives with so many things—sports stats, pop culture, relationships, achievements—but what truly deserves the throne of our hearts?  In Isaiah 40-44, God asks a piercing question: "To whom will you compare me?" He's the Creator who spoke everything into existence, the First and the Last, the only Savior. Yet we often place carved idols—whether literal or figurative—in the space meant for Him alone. Here's the beautiful truth: while every other belief system tells you to climb the ladder to reach God, Christianity reveals a God who stepped down from His throne in heaven to come to YOU. That's the gospel. That's why nothing else compares. What has taken God's rightful place in your life? It's time to examine our hearts and remove anything that doesn't belong on His throne. A Glimpse into the Future: Daniel 2

When life feels impossible and the pressure is crushing, where do you turn? Daniel faced an impossible demand from a ruthless king: reveal a dream you never heard AND interpret it—or die. But Daniel didn't panic. He didn't try to fake his way through. Instead, he gathered his friends and prayed. Then when God answered, Daniel gave ALL the glory back to God. Here's the powerful truth: Daniel's boldness wasn't rooted in his own ability—it was rooted in a lifetime of faithfulness. He didn't suddenly turn to God in crisis; he had been faithful every single day, even in exile. And when God came through, Daniel didn't just save himself—he saved his enemies too, showing mercy even to those who couldn't help him. What would change in your life if you lived with that kind of humility, faith, and boldness? Sometimes we're dragged into God's presence by faithful friends. Other times we're the ones doing the dragging. Be careful who influences you, but never stop bringing others before God. Your relationships either pull you closer to Him or away—choose wisely. #Faith #2Kings3

    Against the Grain: Daniel 1

Daniel refused to defile himself with the king's food, choosing faithfulness to God over worldly comfort. Like him, we face a culture trying to isolate us from truth and fill us with lies. Stand firm. What's eternal matters more than what's temporary.

    Authenticity in Worship Isaiah 1-2

The book of Isaiah challenges us: Is your faith about tradition or transformation? God doesn't want empty rituals—He wants your heart. Truth matters more than comfort. Hope in eternity matters more than temporary circumstances. Remain faithful.

Passing the Torch: 2 Kings 2

Ever wonder what it takes to pass the torch of faith? This week we explored the powerful transition from Elijah to Elisha in 2 Kings 2 - a story about mentorship, humility, and carrying forward God's mission. Elijah, the introverted prophet who preferred solitude, still made time to train hundreds of prophets. Elisha, the extrovert who wouldn't leave his mentor's side, humbly asked for a "double portion" - not out of greed, but recognizing he needed extra help to live up to his calling. Different personalities, same mission: keeping Israel faithful to the one true God. Here's the challenge: Are we making disciples? In our isolated, technology-driven world, it's easy to keep faith private. But the gospel isn't meant to stay internal. Whether you're an introvert or extrovert, God calls us to mentor, teach, and spread His truth to the next generation. Who are you pouring into? #PassingTheTorch #Discipleship #ElijahAndElisha #MakeDisciples #FaithInAction

    Lessons from the Temple Dedication

Sometimes the truth we need to hear isn't what we want to hear. Simeon warned Mary of future pain even in her joy. Like him, may we speak truth boldly, listen to the Holy Spirit clearly, and prioritize making disciples over our traditions. #Faith #Truth #Christmas

    Recapturing the Magic of Christmas

God didn't ask us to climb the ladder to reach Him. Instead, the infinite became finite—stepping from eternity. Jesus descended to us, while still upholding the universe. That's the miracle of Christmas.

    The Magnificat

What if God interrupted your ordinary life with something extraordinary? Mary was just a teenage girl from nowhere Nazareth—poor, humble, living an average life. Then an angel appeared with news that would change everything: she would carry the Son of God. Her response? "Behold, the maidservant of the Lord. Let it be to me according to your word." In that single moment of submission, darkness lost. A single cell in Mary's womb became the Savior of the world. She understood something profound: God doesn't choose the mighty or the wealthy—He exalts the lowly. He chose a humble girl to fulfill the ancient covenant made to Abraham. This Advent, remember that the Christmas story began with an interruption. God's love entered the world not in a palace, but through surrender and humility. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son" (John 3:16). Mary was there for it all—the conception, birth, death, and resurrection. Will you submit to His interruption in your life? #AdventSeason #MaryMagnificat #GodInterrupts #John316 #HumbleSubmission

Advent Week 3 JOY: Luke 2:1-20

Jesus left heaven's glory to be born in a manger—not distant from our suffering, but entering into it. The shepherds who watched sacrificial lambs were first to see the Lamb of God. That's how much He loves you. Joy to the world—He came, and He's coming again.

    Ezekiel 44-48

Christ will dwell with His people forever. Ezekiel's temple vision shows Israel finally understanding what they missed—the Messiah among them, teaching through the very practices they misunderstood. The city's name says it all: "The Lord is there." #BiblicalProphecy

Good News can be difficult: Luke 2:22-38

Even when you're participating in what is good, it won't always feel good. Mary raised Jesus, after being prophesied to by Simeon about the goodness of the Christ, he warned Mary that a deep sorrow would be part of the equation. Following Christ means sacrifice, but it's worth it—He has overcome the world. His birth was always about His sacrifice for us.

War & Peace: Advent Week 2

The peace of Christ isn't just about our past reconciliation with God—it's about our future hope. Jesus came as a child to give us peace with God through the cross. He's coming again as King to bring complete peace: no more tears, pain, or death. God will make all things new.

    Incarnation Announcement: Luke 1:26-38

The Christmas story isn't just about a baby in a manger—it's about the God of the universe stepping out of His glory and into the most humble circumstances imaginable. Think about this: Jesus didn't just sacrifice Himself during Passion Week. His sacrifice began at the incarnation. He left His rightful place in heaven, grew as a zygote and fetus, spent 30 years in obscurity as a carpenter in a town people looked down on, then three years being rejected by the very people He came to save. For 33 and a half years, the King of Kings lived away from the glory He deserved—all for you. Mary's simple obedience changed everything. An angel's words to her marked the end of darkness's reign. And in that moment, God stepped into time and began the most incredible rescue mission in history. Before Jesus was arrested in Gethsemane, He prayed, "I have finished the work which You have given Me to do." That work started in a womb. It continued through decades of humble living. And it ended on a cross. This Christmas, let's not miss the magnitude of what really happened. The sacrifice wasn't just the final week—it was every single day He chose to be here instead of in His rightful glory. That's how much He loves us. That's the real wonder of Christmas.

The Necessity of Repentance: 2 Kings 1

Facing your mortality reveals what you truly worship. King Ahaziah chose self over God, even at death's door. If you don't change, neither does your fate. Repentance equals life. The question for eternity: Will you put your faith in Jesus or yourself?

    The Millennial Temple: Ezekiel 40-43

Ezekiel saw a future temple in stunning detail—yet it's never been built. With specific measurements, three entrances, and the glory of God entering from the east, this appears to be where Jesus will rule and reign forever. The millennial temple awaits its fulfillment.   https://cometolifebible.church/blog/2025/11/18/the-millennial-temple

For Such a Time as This - Esther

What if God has positioned us exactly where we are for a specific purpose? The book of Esther tells an incredible story of a young Jewish woman who became queen of Persia at precisely the right moment. When an evil advisor named Haman plotted to commit genocide against all the Jewish people, Esther's cousin Mordecai asked her a profound question: "Who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" Esther had to make a choice. She could stay silent and safe, or risk her life by approaching the king illegally to save her people. After three days of prayer and fasting, she decided: "If I perish, I perish." Her courage not only saved the Jewish people from extinction, but expanded God's message throughout the kingdom. Here's what gets me - Esther's bravery wasn't just about saving lives in that moment. The Jewish people carried God's promise that the Messiah would come through them. If they had been destroyed, Jesus couldn't have come. God's plan depended on one woman's willingness to act when it mattered most. The contrast between Haman and Mordecai is striking. Haman obsessed over power and recognition, building a 75-foot gallows to execute Mordecai simply because he wouldn't bow to him. Meanwhile, Mordecai had saved the king's life without seeking any reward. In the end, Haman died on the very gallows he built for Mordecai, and Mordecai took Haman's position of honor. We are often the cause of our own destruction through pride and sin. But when we humble ourselves and respond to God's call, even when everything seems to be falling apart, God can use us for purposes we can't even imagine. So ask yourself: Is there somebody who will respond best because of YOU? Is there something God is calling you to do that only you can do because of your unique position, relationships, or gifts? Were you born in this generation for such a time as this? God's sovereignty means He sees the big picture even when we're hanging on by a thread. Esther couldn't see 600 years of history that led to her moment, but God did. And He's still working today through people willing to stand up when it matters. What is your "such a time as this" moment?

From Despair to Mission: 1 Kings 21

God sees every injustice and will judge rightly. But here's the beauty: no one is too far gone for His grace. Even the most wicked king repented and received mercy. The punishment we deserve was paid on the cross. We get to extend that same grace to others. #Grace #Redemption

ABOUT THIS SHOW
