Unpacking Family Secrets God's Way

This is an update on what has been going for the past few months and an encouraging word for everyone.

Fear is a spirit that comes before a person is raped and sexually abused by a family member. Tamar begged and pleaded with her stepbrother Amnon, but he refused to listen.

GOD DOES NOT ACCEPT INCEST. It is a sin. It is wickedness. It is a crime. Sexual sin such as fornication, sex outside of marriage happens even when people have been abused. The consequences are major.

After Tamar was raped, she lived a desolate life. Most victims are forced to live with the consequences because they are not able to talk about it with others including family members. THE LORD IS RAISING HIS VOICE AGAINST INCEST.

The shame and disgrace that victims have after being violated can destroy their lives, but THE LORD DOES NOT WANT ANYONE TO LIVE THIS WAY.

GOD IS NOT IN AGREEMENT WITH INCEST.

We will no longer remain silent while incest is running rampant across the world. It is serious and enough is enough.

Attacking incest because it is never acceptable!

It is important to manage your household before you serve in the church and outside of the church. Eli is an example of a parent who suffered the consequences along with his sons for not taking this seriously. Don’t make the same mistake.

THE LORD WANTS YOU TO HAVE PEACE IN YOUR HOME. HE KNOWS THAT IF THERE IS CHAOS, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SERVE HIM. ELI MADE A BIG MISTAKE BU NOT OBEYING THE LORD. YOU CAN LOOK AT ELI AS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT NOT TO DO WHEN RAISING CHILDREN. BE BLESSED.

Sexual Assault and Abuse Awareness Month is in April and the color is teal. This form of violence is kept silent because of shame and fear. Victims are in the congregation and one WORD FROM THE LORD would make a difference, but it is not discussed in most churches. This is a place where THE LORD’S HEART SHOULD BE EXTENDED TO ALL, but to victims, in many cases, it is not.

God created everyone with a plan and a purpose, but events and people can try to hinder the progress of your destiny if you allow them. You must remember that you are important and no one and nothing can change that.

The Cycle of Violence is a cycle that can end with the death of a victim and the warning signs are often ignored. It is important to know about this deadly cycle and its consequences.

Domestic Violence and Teen Dating Violence are two of the most crippling forms of abuse. These victims can be found in the congregation and it is time for pastors to do something about it. Until it is a major issue for them, the victims will be hesitant to speak out.

GOD’S WORD DOES NOT CONDONE VERBAL ABUSE. HE IS LOVE AND ANYONE WHO ABUSES SOMEONE DOES NOT HAVE THE LORD’S LOVE IN THEIR HEARTS. THE LORD WANTS HIS WORD TO BE USED FOR CHANGE AND HE IS CALLING OUT THE CHURCH LEADERS WHO HAVE NOT TAUGHT ON THIS SUBJECT BECAUSE THEY FEEL THAT IT IS A PERSONAL ISSUE.

Verbal abuse is a common occurrence because people are reckless when they speak. THE LORD SAID what proceeds out of the mouth comes from the heart. This is true for verbal abuse.

GOD IS NOT IN AGREEMENT WITH DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND PASTORS SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE VICTIMS IN THEIR CONGREGATIONS WHO ARE WAITING ON THEM TO DISCUSS THE CONSEQUENCES BASED ON THE WORD OF GOD. NO ONE SHOULD LIVE THIS TORMENTED LIFE.

GOD DOES NOT AGREE WITH DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, BUT THE CHURCH IS COMPOSED OF VICTIMS AND ABUSERS WHO ATTEND SERVICES AT CHURCHES WHOSE PASTOR CHOOSES TO ALLOW THIS SIN TO REMAIN UNTOUCHED AND THE VICTIM IN REPEATED BONDAGE. THE LORD IS REVEALING SO THAT HEALING CAN TAKE PLACE 🙏

GOD is clear about HIS EXPECTATIONS for parents. When children are not chastised for disobedience, there are consequences and Eli (1 Samuel 2:27-34) had to face them along with his children. Train your children to do the right thing because GOD gave them to you.

GOD IS CONCERNED ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT TAKES PLACE IN YOUR LIFE. When your household is out of order, you need GOD’S guidance to fix whatever is messed up.

Happy is defined as feeling or showing pleasure or contentment. True happiness can only and is always found in THE LORD.

THE TIME IS NEAR AND MOST PEOPLE ARE NOT IN RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD.

Disaster is COMING and THE LORD IS NEAR

Forgiveness can be challenging, but when you forgive, GOD WILL GIVE YOU PEACE BEYOND UNDERSTANDING😊

If you choose obedience, THE LORD WILL FAVOR AND BLESS YOU, BUT YOU MUST CHOOSE CORRECTLY.

GOD DOES NOT AGREE with anyone who hates, who is jealous or envious of another. If this is in the heart, it is important to get rid of it because it will lead to destruction.

GOD is serious about HIS anointed. Jealousy is a character trait that can cause people to do harm (words and deeds) to people HE chose to serve HIM and this is not GOD'S way.

There are times when people are caught in a snare (trap) as a result of acting in fear and it can bring on dangerous consequences that will last for generations. Walk by faith, not by fear.

Walking in fear is not GOD'S way and it should not be able to hinder HIS children.

1 Corinthians 13:11NLT talks about putting away childish behavior and the need for adults to grow up and mature in righteousness. It is evident that many people are unaware of this scripture or how important GOD'S WORD is concerning this matter.

Obedience is greater than sacrifice.

AMERICA HAS TURNED IT'S BACK ON GOD AND HE IS PUNISHING HER.

GOD IS ALMIGHTY! Can you trust HIM? Do you know HIM?

GOD IS DEALING WITH disobedience.

GOD CREATED THE COVENANT OF MARRIAGE AND WHEN HE SAYS GET MARRIED, HE IS PLEASED WITH THOSE WHO ARE OBEDIENT.

When married couples are coveting, they are capable of doing evil in GOD'S EYES and this is not GOD'S PLAN. IT WILL NOT GO UNPUNISHED.

THE LORD LOVES YOU AND HE IS THE SUPPLIER OF EVERY NEED. ASK HIM FOR WHAT YOU WANT AND HAVE NEED OF SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO COVET AFTER OTHERS.

Covetousness is idolatry. When you want what belongs to another or you are wanting your family and house to be like other people, you are coveting.

Wealth is a gift from THE LORD BUT, if you don't remember to be humble and FEAR THE LORD, you will not have that gift for long.

In every way, we are to choose GOD'S way of doing things, but when we go our own way, there will be consequences.

When people drift and disregard THE LORD'S HOLY WORD, there are consequences that will reach the future generations.

Have you allowed people to cause you to drift and disobey THE LORD? Let's see what THE LORD says.

Can people see JESUS in you?

THE LORD does not like slothfulness. Look at it from the ant's view. She is preparing for the harvest in the summer time, but harvest time is in autumn. Are you slothful? Listen and see.

GOD wants you to be honest. When you are walking in integrity, GOD IS PLEASED. When you are lying, HE DETEST your lying lips. Just tell the truth.

GOD did not give us the spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind. When we get out of character, we lose our self-control and find selfishness and self-righteousness. Give it to THE LORD and HE will show you how to find the way to self-control.

There are times when people speak curses over their lives not realizing that they are giving life to something GOD is not in agreement with. Turn things around for the better by paying attention to the words that proceed out of your mouth.

GOD DOES NOT WANT to see HIS children in distress. You will have to humble yourself and keep your finger on the "yes" button.
