We will remember the person who introduced us to Jesus for the rest of our lives. Their faith helps lead us into His presence, where our own is watered, nurtured, and strengthened until it becomes something we can truly call our own. It’s a beautiful process to behold. If we aren’t intentional though we can remain in a season that was only meant to be temporary. We’re more immersed than we think. Sports. Politics. Our careers. Relationships. But beneath all of it, the Bible reveals we're all born immersed into something deeper that has influenced each of our directions and desires—darkness. But here's the good news: God didn't send His Son to condemn you. He sent Him to rescue you.

1 John 4:9-10 NIV This is how God showed his love (agapē) among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love (agapē): not that we loved (agapē) God, but that he loved (agapē) us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Have you ever said something you wished you could take back? What we say matters. Our words have the power to tear down or build up. They make a difference, so much that the Bible tells us that they either bring life or death. There is no in-between. It’s time to align the words we speak about ourselves, others, and our circumstances with God’s Word. Let’s take the lies captive and replace them with His truth!

Proverbs 1:1–7 NLT. These are the proverbs of Solomon, David’s son, king of Israel. Their PURPOSE is to teach people wisdom and discipline, to help them understand the insights of the wise. Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair. These proverbs will give insight to the SIMPLE, knowledge and discernment to the YOUNG. Let the WISE listen to these proverbs and become even wiser. Let those with understanding receive guidance by exploring the meaning in these proverbs and parables, the words of the wise and their riddles. Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but FOOLS despise wisdom and discipline.
