Episode 31 | This episode, my personal testimony has been a long time coming, 28 years to be exact. This is the story of how I even became Catholic in the first place. Todays solo episode has been requested enough times, that I decided now is the time. I want to share the beauty that Our Lord has brought forth from the ashes of my life. He truly makes beautiful things out of suffering, we just have to let Him in our hearts. Matt was raised Southern Baptist and spent years practicing Protestant apologetics with his friend. Years later he received a phone call that was the catalyst for his journey home. In this weeks episode I sit down with Kristin Dorsey from The Survivors who shares her harrowing story of resilience and her ultimate conversion to Catholicism after being a self described Atheist. This episode inspired me greatly, and opened my eyes to the reality of late-term abortions that are still occurring every day in this country. In this week's episode, I sit down with Marie Hanson from The Catholic Woman Podcast to talk about her faith journey, after being raised in the Catholic Church. We discussed the medical condition her sister was born with, which has inspired many and brought numerous souls to Jesus Christ and His Church. We discuss her husbands reversion and how his encounter with Our Lord at SEEK changed the trajectory of their relationship for the better. Marie also shares the three near death experiences she has gone through in recent years, two of which being with the birth of her daughters and a condition known as Placenta Accreta. This episode will be such an encouragement to anyone in the depths of motherhood of little ones. Claire Noel was raised Pentecostal, after being baptized as a four year-old in The Catholic Church. After marrying her husband, Claire drifted away from Christianity altogether – spending years practicing various forms of the occult. In a radical encounter with Jesus Christ one day in her home, Claire's life shifted greatly, this time on the narrow path towards eternity with Our Lord. In this weeks episode, I sit down with Analisa to discuss her service in ministry and how redemptive suffering played a pivotal role in her reversion to the Church, and strengthened her relationship with Jesus. After experiencing bullying in Church and finding kinder people among her agnostic friend group, Analisa found her faith in Jesus to be challenged deeply. Ultimately Christ healed her hurt and brought her close to His Sacred Heart. This week's episode was beautiful.
