Waging War On Our Knees
by Vicky Devocht
Welcome to a space of prayer, power, and revival. I’m Vicky Devocht, your host. We live in urgent times, where the battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. Here we fight on our knees, calling on the Holy Spirit to move mountains. Together we decree God’s Word, plead the blood of Jesus, and rise as His remnant bride—anointed, appointed, and bold. Revival is coming, the harvest is ready, and we will not be lukewarm. This is the battle. This is the war.Support this podcast by visiting https://buymeacoffee.com/wagingwar

Faith Is Like a Key | Build Your Faith, Speak Truth, Walk in Authority
Faith is like a key. It unlocks what you cannot yet see.In this powerful episode, Vicky shares how faith is not rooted in feelings, emotion, or circumstance — it is rooted in truth. Romans 10:17 reminds us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is not wishful thinking. It is confidence built on the truth of who God is.This episode points us back to the foundation of real faith: relationship with Jesus. The Word of God is not just words on a page — the Word is Jesus. John 1 tells us that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. So when you are in the Word, you are getting to know Him.The more you know Jesus, the more you trust His character. The more you trust Him, the more confidently you can stand on His promises. Faith is built through truth, through experience, and through trust — and then repeated again and again as you continue walking with Him.Once faith is established, it becomes easier to walk in spiritual authority. Your declarations, proclamations, and decrees begin to carry weight because they are no longer coming from fear or striving, but from truth and relationship. You know who He is, and you know who you are in Him.This episode also speaks into the power of your words. The Bible says death and life are in the power of the tongue. That is why we must be careful how we speak. We are called to take our thoughts captive, reject the lies of the enemy, and replace them with the truth of God’s Word.Instead of agreeing with fear, we speak Scripture.Instead of repeating doubt, we declare promise.Instead of surrendering to defeat, we stand in truth.Vicky shares practical examples of replacing lies with God’s Word:“Maybe this isn’t God’s plan for me” becomes “God is working all things for my good.”“This door will never open” becomes “If God opens a door, no one can shut it.”“I’ll never get out of this” becomes “God is making a way where there seems to be no way.”“There’s never enough” becomes “God will supply all my needs according to His riches in glory.”When truth is in you, it comes out of you. This message is a reminder to begin each day prepared — alert, sober, spiritually aware, and clothed in the full armour of God. As we fill ourselves with His Word, faith grows. As faith grows, trust deepens. As trust deepens, authority strengthens. Then when the enemy attacks, we are ready to respond quickly with truth. This episode will encourage you to build your faith through the Word of God, deepen your relationship with Jesus, take your thoughts captive, speak life, and stand firm in the promises of God.If this message encouraged you, like, subscribe, and share it with someone who needs strength and truth today.Support the mission:Visit https://buymeacoffee.com/wagingwar to partner with us, sponsor episodes, or pick up some merchandise. Unity, Revival, and Breaking Division in the Church
In this episode, Vicky Devocht shares a deeply personal and Spirit-led message about what the Lord has been revealing in this season: a call to repentance, unity, prayer, and revival in the body of Christ.Vicky reflects on a journey the Lord has taken her on—showing her the subtle ways division has weakened the church over time. With more than 45,000 Christian denominations worldwide, it is clear that fragmentation has become one of the enemy’s most effective strategies. Yet God’s heart has always been for unity: one body, one Spirit, one Lord, one faith.Drawing from Proverbs 6:16–19, where the Lord says He hates division among the brethren, and Ephesians 6:12, which reminds us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, this episode calls believers back to spiritual warfare in its true form: not fighting each other, but waging war on our knees in prayer.Vicky speaks honestly about years of moving from church to church, sensing that something was missing. Though God is always moving and people are being saved around the world, she shares how she often found a lack of urgency around the harvest, a lack of evangelistic fire, and a lack of consistent expectation for healing, breakthrough, and the active move of the Holy Spirit. In that process, the Lord brought her to a place of personal conviction. Revival was not just something the church needed. It was something she needed to contend for personally. One powerful turning point came when she entered a church where believers were already gathered at the altar before the service, praying, worshiping, speaking in tongues, and preparing the atmosphere for God to move. Their hunger and expectancy exposed how much fear of man can keep believers passive, restrained, and spiritually asleep. It became clear: if people can arrive early to a hockey game full of excitement and anticipation, why should the church approach the presence of God with less passion? This episode is a call to make faith simple again. To return to the central truth: we love Jesus, we want to serve Him, we want to bring in the harvest, and we want to stand together against the works of darkness. It is a call to help people know that Jesus is real, that He walks with us, strengthens us, leads us, and saves us. It is a call to remember who we are in Christ and to embrace our place as His bride. Most of all, this message is a summons to prayer warriors. Many may never stand on a stage or hold a microphone, but heaven sees those who pray in secret. Those who intercede in the quiet place are shifting things in the spirit. Revival begins there. It begins in surrendered hearts, in prayer closets, in repentance, in boldness, and in the cry, “Lord, ignite me first.”Vicky also casts a beautiful vision of what it could look like if churches across a city stepped outside their walls, laid aside denominational pride, gathered in unity, and lifted one voice in worship, prayer, and intercession for the lost. That kind of unity would shake regions and break strongholds. This episode closes with a heartfelt prayer asking the Lord to break every wall of division, remove pride, fear, passivity, and heaviness, and raise up a generation of believers who know how to war on their knees. This is a message for the intercessor. For the hungry believer. For the one longing for revival. For the one who knows there must be more. You are not here by accident.Scriptures referenced include:Proverbs 6:16–19Ephesians 6:12Listen, pray, and share with someone who is hungry for more of Jesus, more unity in the body, and more fire in this hour.Support the mission:Visit https://buymeacoffee.com/wagingwar to partner with us, sponsor episodes, or pick up some merchandise. Do You Really Have Faith? | Contending for the Word in Every Battle
In this powerful episode of Waging War on Our Knees, Vicky brings a clear and challenging message about what faith truly is—and what it requires of us as believers.Drawing on the teaching of Kenneth Hagin, this episode explores a simple but life-transforming truth: faith is believing every word of God as absolute truth. Not just when it’s easy. Not just when we feel it. But in every moment, even when circumstances try to tell us otherwise. So the question becomes deeply personal…Do you really have faith? Many believers experience moments where they receive from God—healing, peace, provision—but the real battle begins after that moment. When symptoms return, when doubt creeps in, when thoughts begin to challenge what God has already done… that’s where faith must stand firm.Vicky shares a powerful example of a man who was completely healed of arthritis. For weeks, he walked in freedom. But when a small symptom returned, he accepted the thought that he had not been healed. In that moment, he stopped contending—and the condition returned. This is where so many lose ground.Faith is not passive.Faith must be contended for.The Bible calls us to:“Contend earnestly for the faith” (Jude 1:3)“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7)“Fight the good fight of faith” (1 Timothy 6:12)Faith is not just about receiving—it’s about holding the line.Jesus Himself showed us how to stand in the face of attack. Every time the enemy came, He answered with one powerful phrase:“It is written.” (Matthew 4:4)That is our model. In this episode, Vicky calls you to anchor yourself in the Word of God. Because faith is built on the Word:“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)Without the Word, there is nothing to stand on. But with it, you have your weapon—the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17).This episode also walks through key scriptures you can stand on in every area of life:For healing:“By His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)“I am the Lord who heals you.” (Exodus 15:26)For peace:“You will keep him in perfect peace.” (Isaiah 26:3)“Be anxious for nothing.” (Philippians 4:6–7)For provision:“My God shall supply all your need.” (Philippians 4:19)When the enemy comes back—and he will—you don’t agree with the lie.You don’t entertain the doubt. You stand and declare: “It is written.”Because:God’s Word is truth (John 17:17)God is faithful (1 Corinthians 1:9)This episode is a call to action. To write down your scriptures. To speak them daily. To stand your ground. To contend for what God has already given you.Because faith is not just receiving in a moment—Faith is holding the line when it is tested.Be encouraged, be strengthened, and be equipped to stand firm.God bless you.Support the mission:Visit https://buymeacoffee.com/wagingwar to partner with us, sponsor episodes, or pick up some merchandise. Let’s Join together: Believing for the impossible when resistance rises
There are seasons when everything flows.Doors open. Favor surrounds you. Momentum builds. You know God has placed something on your heart — and you walk in it boldly. And then… resistance. In this deeply personal episode of Waging War on Our Knees, Vicky Devocht shares what the Lord has been teaching her in a season of unexpected pushback. When Home Suite Home Affordable Housing, Suite Home Creations, and VickyDevocht.com were first laid on her heart, there was grace and movement. But as the missions grew, so did the hindrances. Progress slowed. Walls appeared. What once flowed began to feel blocked. At first, she did what many strong, independent believers do — she pushed harder. She strategized more. Worked longer. Tried to break through in her own strength. After all, she’s always seen herself as strong. A warrior bride. Independent. Capable. But the Lord gently revealed something profound:She was trying to carry something alone that was never meant to be carried alone. We are not lone sheep. We belong to a flock. We belong to a family. In this episode, Vicky speaks candidly about humility, surrender, and the power of unity in prayer. True strength is not striving harder — it’s recognizing when to say, “I cannot do this on my own.”This is not a message of defeat. It is a call to obedience.A call to gather the herd.To link arms.To stand shoulder to shoulder. To wage war on our knees. The theme is simple but powerful: Believing for the Impossible.Because what feels blocked in the natural is never blocked in the Spirit. What feels delayed on earth is not delayed in heaven. This prayer movement is not about striving. It is about agreement. Not isolation — but unity. Not ego — but humility. In this episode, Vicky invites both women and men to join in intentional prayer — for the missions God has placed on their hearts, for breakthrough in physical health, for restoration in finances, for clarity in calling, and for courage when resistance rises. She prays over:• Dreams that feel attacked• Callings that feel delayed• Weariness that has tried to settle in• Doubt that has whispered too loudlyShe lifts up Home Suite Home Affordable Housing — that it would continue bringing shelter, dignity, and hope to those walking through hidden homelessness. She prays over Suite Home Creations — that provision would flow and doors would open. She speaks blessing over VickyDevocht.com — that health, confidence, and strength would be restored in body, mind, and spirit. Most importantly, she declares that we do not march alone. Our King rides before us.This episode is a reminder that spiritual authority is not noise or force — it is alignment. Speaking to mountains. Declaring truth. Standing unified in Christ. If you have been pushing alone…If you feel resistance around something God called you to…If you know there is more, but you keep hitting walls…You are not alone.Join the prayer community through the podcast Waging War on Our Knees and connect on YouTube at:Stand Firm Warrior Brideswhere believers gather to strengthen one another and believe together for the impossible. And if you are listening today and have not yet surrendered your life to the Lord — this is your invitation. Go & Shine – Winning Souls in a Searching World
There was a moment that wouldn’t leave my heart. I was listening to Kenneth Hagin speak about prayer, about reading the Word, about gathering together as believers — all good, all necessary. But then he asked a simple question: What is the most important thing? And his answer was clear. Winning souls. That statement stirred something deep in me.We love prayer meetings. We treasure time in the Word. We value worship and fellowship. And we should. But Jesus gave us a mission that reaches beyond comfort. In Matthew 28:19–20, He didn’t say stay — He said go. Go and make disciples. Go and carry the light. Go and reach the lost.In this episode of Waging War on Our Knees, we explore what it truly means to shine in a dark world. Are we spending more time talking about the light than actually shining it?Proverbs 11:30 tells us, “He who wins souls is wise.” Heaven calls soul-winning wisdom. Not pressure. Not striving. Not performance. Wisdom. Jesus declared in Matthew 5 that we are the light of the world. Light doesn’t argue. Light doesn’t force. Light simply shines.Evangelism is not always loud or dramatic. It is often quiet and powerful — a word of encouragement, an act of kindness, a moment of courage when the Holy Spirit opens a door. Romans 10 reminds us that people cannot believe unless they hear. And they cannot hear unless someone speaks. That someone is us.Right now, hearts are anxious. People are weary. Many are searching for hope but don’t know where to find it. Jesus said the harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. That means there are people ready — open, hungry, waiting. What if our daily prayer became simple and surrendered?“Lord, use me today. Open a door today. Let my life shine today.”Daniel 12:3 promises that those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever. What an eternal perspective. One day we will stand before the Lord. He treasures our prayers. He delights in our time in His Word. But I believe His heart also rejoices when we step into the world carrying His light with love and willingness. This is part of waging war — not against people, but for souls. In this episode, we talk about:• Keeping our lamps full• Living ready and aware• Seeing evangelism as love, not pressure• Being a willing vessel in everyday moments• Understanding the eternal weight of simple obedienceThe world does not need louder noise. It needs steady light. So let’s stay rooted in prayer. Let’s remain grounded in the Word. But let’s also go. Let’s shine. Let’s love boldly and gently.Because someone’s eternity may be changed by one small moment of light.Support the mission:Visit https://buymeacoffee.com/wagingwar to partner with us, sponsor episodes, or pick up some merchandise. Keep Your Lamp Full | Staying Ready in a Distracted World
There is a war raging right now.Not just wars between nations. Not just political tension or cultural shifts. There is a war for our attention. A war for our time. A war for our focus. In this powerful episode of Waging War on Our Knees, Vicky Devocht reminds us that the enemy does not always try to destroy faith outright — sometimes he simply distracts it. Life becomes busy. Schedules fill up. We scroll. We strive. And without even realizing it, our spiritual lamps begin to run low.Jesus warned us clearly in Matthew 25 through the parable of the ten virgins. All believed. All were waiting. All had lamps. But only five kept oil in reserve. When the midnight cry rang out, only those who were prepared were ready. This episode is not about fear. It is about readiness. It is a call to:• Guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23)• Stay watchful (Matthew 24:42)• Be prepared for His coming (Matthew 24:44)• Live surrendered and aligned with Him (Ephesians 5:27)We are living in a time where the world is shifting, hearts are searching, and darkness is increasing. This is not the hour for the Church to grow comfortable. This is the hour to draw near.“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” (Matthew 9:37)There is a great harvest coming. Revelation 7:9 reminds us of a multitude from every nation standing before the throne. We are part of that story. We are part of that mission. So how do we stay ready? We protect our time with Him.We keep our lamps full.We stay awake. We reach out.We encourage. We live expectant.Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. (James 4:8)This episode will challenge you, awaken you, and strengthen your resolve to live watchful, faithful, and ready.Stay faithful. Stay prepared. When the Word Loses Its Fire – Reclaiming Awe for What Still Burns
Today’s episode was born from a moment so quiet, yet so piercing, it stopped me in my tracks.A dear friend shared a story about one of her workers from Ghana—a faithful, humble Christian woman whose love for God is deep and sincere. One day, she noticed a Bible resting on my friend’s table. She paused. She stared at it. And then she said, almost in wonder, “Your Bible is so beautiful.”My friend gently asked her, “Do you have a Bible?”She replied, “Oh yes… but it’s very small.”So my friend—who had many Bibles—gave her one of her own. What happened next is something that can’t be manufactured or forgotten. This woman pressed the Bible to her chest. Her eyes filled with tears. She held it as though she had just been handed treasure. Sacred. Precious. Alive. And in that moment, my friend felt a quiet but powerful conviction rise in her heart. She realised something that many of us must face if we’re honest:She reads the Word. She knows the Word. But she no longer carries it with the same reverence. The same awe. The same fire. That moment stirs a question that matters for every believer: Have we grown familiar with something that should still make us tremble? The enemy doesn’t always steal the Word from us.Sometimes, he simply steals the fire from it.We read—but we don’t burn.We know—but we don’t hunger. We open the pages—but our hearts stay closed.Yet Scripture reminds us of the true nature of God’s Word: “Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:29)“For the word of God is living and active…” (Hebrews 4:12)The Word was never meant to be cold.It was never meant to be routine. It was meant to be living. It was meant to be fire.In this episode, we don’t just reflect—we respond.Together, we make bold declarations. We wage war against dryness. Against routine without revelation. Against reading out of duty instead of desire. We declare:The Word of God is alive in usOur hearts burn again for His truthWe hunger and thirst for righteousnessWe receive fresh fire, fresh awe, and fresh hungerAs Scripture says:“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.” (Psalm 42:1)“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6)This episode closes with prayer—asking the Lord to burn away apathy, to restore wonder, and to ignite holy fire in our hearts once more. Fire that draws us back to the Word not as a habit, but as a love letter. Not as information, but as communion.Because this is real spiritual warfare:Reclaiming the fire for the Word of God.My prayer is that as you listen, something reignites within you. That the pages come alive again. That awe is restored. And that hunger returns.Thank you for listening.May your week be filled with fresh fire and renewed desire for Him.Support the mission:Visit https://buymeacoffee.com/wagingwar to partner with us, sponsor episodes, or pick up some merchandise. Repetition Is Warfare: Why What You Hear Again Keeps You Safe
At first glance, Paul’s words in Philippians 3:1 almost feel… ordinary.“Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.”Why say the same thing again? Why repeat what’s already been heard? In this episode of Waging War on Our Knees, we unpack a powerful truth hidden in plain sight: repetition is not weakness — repetition is protection.Paul wasn’t apologizing for repeating himself. He was explaining strategy. Because safe doesn’t mean comfortable. It doesn’t mean entertained or inspired for a moment. Safe means guarded, reinforced, prepared.Faith doesn’t grow by hearing something once. Scripture tells us that faith comes by hearing — and hearing, and hearing, and hearing again. What we repeat doesn’t just stay in our minds; it settles into our spirits. It forms spiritual muscle memory. Many of us love fresh revelation, variety, and enthusiasm — and there’s nothing wrong with that. But over time, God shows us something deeper: the repeated scriptures, the familiar verses, the sermons we thought we already knew… those truths were sinking in quietly. Not consciously, but subconsciously. And when the moment came — when fear rose, when pressure hit, when darkness pressed in — the Word was already there. This episode reframes repetition as spiritual warfare. The Word of God is not decoration. It is not background noise. It is a weapon. When Scripture lives only on the page, we fight with a small blade. But when the Word is spoken, repeated, whispered, and carried — it becomes a long, sharp sword. One that’s ready before the battle begins. You’ll be invited into a simple but powerful practice:Choose one verse. One truth God has placed on your heart.Don’t rush past it.Repeat it. Speak it. Whisper it. Say it while you drive, while you walk, while fear tries to speak louder.Because preparation always beats panic. This episode closes with prayer and declaration — choosing repetition over reaction, preparation over scrambling, and God’s Word as our weapon. When the attack comes, we don’t search for Scripture. We draw it.This is how we stay safe. This is how we stand firm. This is how we wage war — on our knees, with the Word already in our mouths.Support the mission:Visit https://buymeacoffee.com/wagingwar to partner with us, sponsor episodes, or pick up some merchandise. Authority, Alignment, and the Voice of Amos
In this episode, Vicky Devocht draws powerful insight from the life of the prophet Amos — an ordinary man with no platform, no title, and no desire to be impressive, yet carrying unmistakable authority because his life was aligned with God.Amos represents believers who may never stand on a stage, hold a microphone, or be publicly recognized — but who live with a deep prayer life, quiet obedience, and unwavering faithfulness. He reminds us that authority is not granted by position or permission. Authority is released when heaven speaks and we agree. You don’t need a title to speak life. You don’t need a platform to carry authority. You don’t need approval to pray with confidence. If your knees hit the ground and your life is aligned with God, heaven backs your words.Amos introduces himself plainly:“I was neither a prophet nor the son of a prophet, but I was a shepherd, and I also took care of sycamore fig trees.” (Amos 7:14)Yet the Lord took him from tending the flock and sent him to speak truth to a nation. This episode unpacks a core principle of spiritual warfare:We do not speak to be heard — we speak because God has spoken.Amos did not soften God’s words. He didn’t negotiate truth, defend himself, or seek comfort. He stood and spoke with clarity, reminding us that silence becomes disobedience when God gives instruction. We also confront a sobering warning from Amos regarding worship — that singing and religious activity mean nothing if our lives are not aligned. Authority flows when prayer matches lifestyle, words match obedience, and worship matches righteousness.Faith comes by hearing — not only by reading the Word, but by hearing your own voice speak truth in agreement with heaven. In this episode, you’ll be guided through intentional authority declarations rooted in the posture of Amos:• Covenant alignment• Humility and accountability• Hearing the counsel of God• Speaking with authority and restraint• Walking in justice and righteousnessThese declarations are not performance — they are training. Training our mouths to speak the right words, because authority is released through speech.Vicky also shares personally about learning to ask God questions — how clarity comes when we slow down, inquire of the Lord, and listen for His answers through Scripture, quiet moments, and the still small voice. This is what it means to wage war on your knees:Kneeling before the Lord.Standing before people.Speaking what heaven has already decided. When alignment is right, authority follows. When authority is present, words carry weight. If this episode stirred something in you, allow it to shape your prayer life, your alignment, and the words you speak this week.Support the mission:Visit https://buymeacoffee.com/wagingwar to partner with us, sponsor episodes, or pick up some merchandise. Prepared And Ready: From Training To Positioning
There are seasons with God that feel quiet—and then there are seasons where you later realize He was training you.In today’s episode, Vicky reflects on a powerful theme the Lord has been weaving throughout this season of the podcast: preparation. Not preparation rooted in fear or striving, but preparation grounded in authority, identity, and hope.Looking back over recent teachings—entering the courts of heaven, speaking life in difficult times, praise as a weapon, faith that moves mountains, walking as the radiant Bride of Christ—it becomes clear that these were never just lessons. They were training. God has been equipping His people with spiritual weapons and practical understanding so we would not feel overwhelmed in times of shaking, but anchored.Scripture reminds us that people perish for lack of knowledge, and in His mercy, God has been preparing His church. We are living in a time of global, spiritual, and personal shakings—but shakings are not meant to destroy God’s people. They are meant to reveal what is unshakable. This episode speaks to:Why preparation matters in times of shakingUnderstanding and using spiritual weapons with confidencePracticing faith, discernment, and obedience dailyStaying alert without living in fearWhy intimacy with Jesus is the true foundation of readinessAbove all else, this message calls us back to relationship. Not knowing about Jesus—but walking with Him. Intimacy sharpens discernment, strengthens faith, and keeps us steady when everything around us is shifting. This is not about striving harder. It’s about staying closer. As we move into a new season, Vicky shares a hopeful invitation: to shift from learning to living, from training to positioning, from preparation to deployment—rooted in love, confidence, and faith. If you feel the shaking…If you sense a spiritual urgency…If you know deep down that something is changing…Take heart. Seed, Time, and Harvest: How to Walk Out a Kingdom Principle With Power
In today’s episode, Vicky Devocht invites you into one of the most foundational principles God established from the very beginning—seed, time, and harvest. This kingdom pattern appears from Genesis to Revelation, and it still shapes the life of every believer today. When we learn to walk in step with this principle—not as a formula, but as a relationship with the Father—our faith becomes active, anchored, and fruitful.Vicky reminds us that God never intended spiritual growth to be mysterious or unreachable. He gave us Scripture, patterns, and promises so our hearts, minds, and mouths can agree with heaven. Our spirit needs intimacy; our flesh needs discipline. When the two align, the seeds we sow begin to take root.In this episode, Vicky walks through six spiritual practices that position us to receive God’s increase:1. Begin With Praise and WorshipEverything starts with honouring the King. Before presenting needs or making declarations, we enter His presence with thanksgiving. When we seek Him first, everything else finds alignment.2. Lay Your Requests Before HimAfter worship, we bring our questions, desires, burdens, and daily needs to God—trusting Him to give revelation, strength, wisdom, and direction. Nothing is too big or too small.3. Walk in Purity and ForgivenessA clean heart prepares the soil. Unforgiveness is a broken seed; bitterness is barren ground. God purifies, restores, and softens us so the seeds we sow can truly grow.4. Commission Your Day With the WordWe speak the Scriptures with authority. Decrees rooted in God’s promises—ordering our steps, guiding our paths, and establishing righteousness—shift the spiritual atmosphere of our day.5. Live the Seed–Time–Harvest PrincipleEverything in God’s Kingdom begins as a seed.Obedience is a seed.Kindness is a seed.Forgiveness is a seed.Encouragement is a seed.Giving is a seed.Whatever a person sows, they will also reap. Our only job is to plant faithfully—God’s job is the increase.6. Decrees for the SowerVicky leads you through powerful declarations rooted in Scripture:“I am a sower. My seeds will grow.”“The Lord is developing strong roots in me.”“My harvest is protected by the blood of Jesus.”“I will reap in due season because I do not give up.”The episode closes with gratitude for God’s presence, His principles, and His promise to guide our steps and multiply every seed planted in faith. If you need encouragement today—if you’re waiting for breakthrough, planting in faith, or standing on God’s Word—this episode will strengthen your spirit and steady your heart. How to Take Back Your Thoughts and Restore Your God-Given Identity
Today’s episode goes straight to the heart of the battle for your mind. If you’ve ever felt weighed down by fear, trapped in negative thinking, or convinced your thoughts will never change, this conversation is for you. We’re diving deep into how science and Scripture actually agree on the power of your thoughts, your words, and your identity in Christ. You’ll discover how negative thoughts release cortisol, the stress hormone that fuels fear, anxiety, sadness, and hopelessness—literally strengthening the neural pathways that keep you stuck. And then we unpack the breakthrough: positive, life-giving thoughts release dopamine and serotonin, chemicals that bring peace, clarity, healing, and emotional stability. Science calls this neuroplasticity. God calls it the renewing of your mind.We take a bold look at the spiritual warfare behind unworthiness, fear, confusion, and hopelessness. These aren’t random emotions; they’re targeted attacks meant to distort identity and silence purpose. Through Scripture, we expose the lies and confront the patterns that try to tear you down—because the weapons of our warfare are not natural but mighty through God to pull down strongholds. This episode leads you through powerful declarations and decrees, spoken out loud, because your voice breaks both spiritual and neurological patterns. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and today, we speak life. You’ll declare renewal over your mind, healing over your thought life, and freedom over depression, anxiety, fear, and spiritual heaviness. Then, we step into spiritual authority and pray over every listener—breaking chains, commanding every spirit of heaviness and confusion to leave, and covering your mind with the blood of Jesus. We remind you of who you truly are: chosen, protected, beloved, strengthened, and seen by God.Throughout the episode, Vicky brings key scriptures that anchor your freedom:“As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” — Proverbs 23:7“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans“God has not given us a spirit of fear…” — 2 Timothy 1:7“Cast all your anxiety on Him…” — 1 Peter 5:7“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10“You are God’s masterpiece.” — Ephesians 2:10By the end of this episode, you’ll be reminded that you are not broken beyond repair. You are being rebuilt. You are not forgotten. You are seen. You are not trapped. You are being delivered. God is aligning your mind, heart, and spirit with truth—and you’re stepping forward renewed, strengthened, and filled with hope.We close with a prayer over your mind, emotions, and identity—asking God to break every lie, heal every pattern, and pour fresh joy and revelation into your life.Thank you for joining us today on Waging War on Our Knees. Speak Life into Your Finances – Activating God’s Covenant of Blessing
In this episode of Waging War on Our Knees, Vicky Devocht takes you through a powerful moment of activation — not just another message, but a spoken declaration of faith over your finances, your work, and your future. From the very beginning, humanity’s relationship with work and provision was shaped by the curse placed on the ground in Eden. But through the covenant God made with Abraham, and its fulfillment in Jesus Christ, that curse was broken. As Galatians 3:13 declares, “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.” Poverty, lack, and financial oppression have no legal right to rule in the life of a believer. You are no longer bound by toil — you are called into divine provision, prosperity, and peace under the covenant of grace. In this guided prayer and teaching, Vicky helps you speak God’s Word aloud — aligning your faith, your finances, and your future with His promises. Through scripture, prophetic declaration, and the authority of spoken word, you’ll learn to activate the covenant blessings described in Deuteronomy 28: blessings in the city and in the field, blessings on your work and your household, and storehouses that overflow. This episode invites you to speak to your finances the way Jesus spoke to storms — not with fear, but with faith. You’ll hear powerful declarations like:“Finances, listen to me. Align with God’s Word. Flow to me from the north, the south, the east, and the west. Angels of provision, go forth and bring the supply now.”Vicky reminds listeners that financial blessing is never for personal gain alone. It’s designed to empower generosity — to build, to give, to serve, and to extend the love of Christ to others. As you speak, you are not only changing your circumstances; you are aligning your life with Kingdom purpose.Throughout the episode, Vicky weaves together biblical truths and practical activation:Deuteronomy 8:18 – The Lord gives power to create wealth.Psalm 103:20 – Angels respond to the voice of God’s Word.Galatians 3:13 – Christ redeems us from the curse of poverty and lack.Deuteronomy 28 – Blessings overflow when we listen and obey.Through this scriptural foundation, you’ll move from prayer into action — calling forth opportunity, commanding increase, and blessing the work of your hands. You’ll be invited to declare over your business, your bank accounts, and your future:“My supply is full. My harvest is overflowing. My debts are paid in full. My business is blessed. My household walks in favour.”Vicky also leads a commissioning prayer, releasing angels to gather provision, influence situations, and open doors that lead to abundance. It’s not hype — it’s spiritual alignment. You’ll be encouraged to release control, ask for wisdom, and steward every increase with integrity. This episode closes with a powerful decree:“Lord, I thank you for divine order in my finances. I thank you for blessing my hands and my steps. I live to give, and I give to glorify You. My cup overflows.”Whether you’re believing for breakthrough in your personal finances, your business, or your ministry, Speak Life into Your Finances will strengthen your faith and sharpen your words. You’ll walk away with a renewed sense of authority — not as a victim of economic pressure, but as a child of covenant promise.Listen in and join this prayer of activation.Speak it. Believe it. How to Enter the Courts of Heaven and Pray with Authority
In this powerful episode, Vicky Devocht opens the door to a deeper dimension of prayer — what scripture calls the courts of heaven. This message, Waging War on Our Knees, takes you beyond routine prayer into the place of divine intercession, where faith meets justice and heaven responds to earth.Vicky unpacks what it means to stand before the throne room of God — not only as children speaking to a loving Father, but as advocates approaching the righteous Judge. Drawing from Daniel 7:10, where “the court was seated, and the books were opened,” and Revelation 5:8, where “the prayers of the saints” rise as incense before the Lord, she explains how prayer becomes legal authority in the spiritual realm.Through vivid teaching and personal testimony, Vicky shares how learning to pray in this way transformed her intercession for her son, Tyler. Instead of praying general prayers, she began to present a case before God — repenting for generational patterns, exposing the enemy’s lies, and declaring freedom through the blood of Jesus. In those moments, she experienced peace and breakthrough that could only come from heaven’s courtroom being in session. You’ll learn:• How to approach God as both Father and Judge, rooted in scripture.• Why repentance and forgiveness open the door to answered prayer.• What it means to silence the accuser in your family line.• How peace and spiritual composure carry more authority than reaction or anger.• Why spiritual warfare often targets your emotions — and how to guard them.• How to clothe yourself daily in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:13-18).Vicky also offers a warning from experience: when you begin interceding for others, the enemy often tries to provoke you into offence or distraction. The key is staying anchored in peace. “The moment we step out of peace,” she says, “we lose spiritual authority.” Like Jesus before the Sanhedrin, silence in the face of accusation becomes a weapon of victory. As the message builds, Vicky leads listeners into a moving prayer of declaration — stepping symbolically into the heavenly courts, washed in the blood, surrounded by angels and witnesses. Together, you’ll pray for renewed authority, spiritual clarity, and holy fire to shift the atmosphere around you. You’ll declare the promises of 2 Timothy 1:7, Galatians 5:23, and Ephesians 2:6 — walking in power, love, and a sound mind.“Victory starts on your knees,” Vicky reminds us. “You’re not begging — you’re standing in your rightful place as a child of God, partnering with heaven itself.”Whether you are interceding for family, community, or your own spiritual breakthrough, this message will reignite your prayer life with courage and conviction. It’s an invitation to enter the courts of heaven with boldness, plead the blood of Jesus over every injustice, and walk in the peace that silences the enemy. Listen now to Waging War on Our Knees and rediscover the power of intercession that moves heaven and changes earth. Key Scriptures Referenced:Daniel 7:10 — “The court was seated, and the books were opened.”Revelation 5:8 — “The golden bowls full of incense are the prayers of the saints.”Ephesians 6:13-18 — “Put on the full armor of God.”2 Timothy 1:7 — “For God has not given us a spirit of fear.”Galatians 5:23 — “The fruit of the Spirit is self-control.”1 Thessalonians 5:17 — “Pray without ceasing.”Ephesians 2:6 — “Seated with Christ in heavenly places.”If this message speaks to you, share it with someone who needs encouragement to fight their battles in prayer. Setting Things in Order – 7 Practical Steps to Live in God’s Rhythm of Peace and Purpose
In this episode, Vicky explores what it means to live an ordered life — not by striving for perfection, but by aligning ourselves with the divine rhythm of peace, purpose, and clarity that reflects the Father’s nature. Drawing from Luke 1:1, “Inasmuch as many have taken in hand to set in order a declaration of those things which are most assuredly believed among us,” we look at how God models order from the very beginning — from creation’s design in Genesis 1 to the reminders of peace in 1 Corinthians 14:33: “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.”Together we’ll pause and reflect on how this truth translates into our everyday lives — in our minds, homes, relationships, and time. When our inner world and outer world align with God’s order, peace follows naturally. You’ll hear seven practical ways to invite divine order into your life:Start your day with God. Set the tone through prayer, Scripture, and worship.Declutter your space. Take one small area at a time — small steps bring big peace.Create a daily schedule. Focus on what truly matters in this season.Speak life. Replace gossip and complaint with gratitude and truth.Tend your surroundings. Care for your home, your yard, your neighbourhood — it reflects your heart.Keep relationships peaceful. Forgive quickly, love freely, and don’t carry yesterday’s offence into today.Reflect weekly. Ask God what’s in order and what needs attention.Through these steps, you’ll see that order is not about control — it’s about alignment. When we align our thoughts with Philippians 4:8 and our homes with Proverbs 24:3–4, our lives begin to mirror the peace of heaven. The more we release confusion and invite God’s structure, the more freely His grace flows. We also make powerful declarations over our lives:I walk in divine order, peace, and purpose. My mind is clear and focused on the things of God.My home reflects peace.Confusion has no place in me.Every area of my life aligns with the Father’s will.I am disciplined, organized, and fruitful. The order of heaven governs my steps. As you listen, take a deep breath and consider: where might God be inviting you to bring order — in thought, in home, in time, or in relationships? Remember, the goal isn’t to do more; it’s to live in rhythm with Him.We close in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal areas out of alignment and to bring peace where there’s been confusion. May this episode leave you refreshed, clear-minded, and ready to walk in the Father’s harmony — where order brings rest, and peace builds purpose.Support the mission:Visit https://buymeacoffee.com/wagingwar to partner with us, sponsor episodes, or pick up some merchandise. Maintaining a Healthy Body as an Act of Worship
In this deeply personal and Spirit-led episode of Waging War on Our Knees, host Vicky Devocht explores a truth rarely spoken of in today’s world — that caring for our bodies is not vanity, but worship. God designed the human body with divine intention, and how we nourish, move, and honour it reflects our relationship with Him.From the very beginning, Vicky shares how the Lord impressed upon her heart to cherish her body as a gift — a living temple of the Holy Spirit. “Your body,” she reminds us, “is a miracle, masterfully designed by the Creator.” Every heartbeat, every cell, every breath declares His craftsmanship. And when we choose what to eat, how to rest, and how to live, we’re not just making physical choices — we’re making spiritual ones.Through scripture and reflection, Vicky reveals how eating and health are acts of obedience and gratitude. In Exodus 3:8, God promises His people a land “flowing with milk and honey,” showing that nourishment and obedience are linked. In Isaiah 1:19, He says, “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” What we put into our bodies is not just nutrition — it’s alignment with the Word. She challenges us to see food not merely as fuel, but as worship. Many pray over meals, but few choose meals unto the Lord. In 3 John 1:2, the Apostle writes, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” God cares about every part of us — spirit, soul, and body. Proverbs reminds us that His words are “life unto those that find them and health to all their flesh.” The Word itself carries healing power.Vicky draws a fascinating connection between the spiritual and physical functions of the tongue: “Life and death are in the power of the tongue” — not just in what we say, but in what we taste. Our appetites have been shaped by culture, not always by the Spirit. “Many of us,” she says, “need deliverance in our taste buds — to crave what brings life, not death.”From there, she dives into the divine design of the brain — nearly 60% fat — showing how what we eat literally becomes our thought material. Clean, life-giving foods promote clarity, peace, and self-control. Processed foods cloud the mind and dull spiritual awareness. “Pure oil,” she reminds us, “produces pure thinking.” Just as priests were anointed with oil, we are called to nourish ourselves with what’s pure — physically and spiritually.Vicky doesn’t shy away from the realities many face: healthy food can be costly, and choices can feel limited. Yet, she reminds listeners that God provides strategy as well as sustenance. “Ask God for strategies, not just money,” she says. That might look like growing your own food, buying in bulk, or partnering with local farmers — all ways of reclaiming stewardship and honour over the body. The episode also addresses a neglected truth: gluttony is a spiritual issue. Not to shame, but to awaken. Many use food for comfort when what their soul truly needs is the presence of the Holy Spirit. Emotional hunger often disguises itself as physical hunger. Healing, Vicky explains, begins with repentance — not from guilt, but from a desire to realign with God’s design. As the episode closes, she leads listeners through powerful declarations for health and renewal:My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and I honour God with every bite I take.I bless my tongue and receive new cravings for life-giving food.I break agreement with junk food addiction and receive the desire for the good of the land.My brain is anointed with clarity, wisdom, and healthy oils. I think clearly and choose life. The blessing of obedience rests on me. I will eat from a land flowing with milk and honey.Support the mission:Visit https://buymeacoffee.com/wagingwar to partner with us, sponsor episodes, or pick up some merchandise. Walking as the Radiant Bride of Christ
Welcome to Waging War on Your Knees, where faith meets action and where we learn to live every day from the victory Jesus already won. In this episode, host Vicky Devocht invites listeners to rediscover who they truly are in Christ — not through striving or perfection, but through identity. We often carry the weight of our past, our failures, and our insecurities. But when God looks at us, He doesn’t see any of that. He sees His radiant bride — clothed in righteousness, glowing with His glory, and deeply loved. Vicky paints a vivid picture of this truth: a heavenly bride, radiant and pure, walking in confidence because she knows who she belongs to.This isn’t pride — it’s perspective. It’s remembering that our confidence doesn’t come from ourselves, but from who He says we are. You are chosen. You are beloved. You are anointed to carry His light wherever you go.Throughout the episode, Vicky shares how aligning our words with God’s truth transforms the way we see and live. As Proverbs 18:21 reminds us, “The tongue has the power of life and death.” Every word we speak shapes atmosphere, identity, and destiny. So instead of agreeing with fear or defeat, we are called to speak life:“I am blessed and highly favoured.”“I am strong in the Lord.”“My mind is renewed, my body is vibrant, my spirit is alive.”And when the enemy whispers lies — that you’re not enough, that you can’t do it, that you’re too tired — you fight back. You don’t fight with emotion; you fight with the Word. “Take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5). That means you get to decide which voice you believe.Vicky also shares practical rhythms that keep your spirit strong and your heart radiant:Start each morning with praise. Before reaching for your phone, reach for the Word.Soak in worship. She recommends “The Bride” by Timeless Hebrew Tunes — a song that captures the beauty of our divine relationship.Make daily declarations. Ask God to renew your mind, your tongue, and your strength.See through Heaven’s lens. Sometimes it’s not life that needs to change — it’s how we see it.Romans 12:2 reminds us that transformation begins in the mind. When your thoughts align with truth, your life begins to reflect glory. And even on the hard days — when joy feels distant or strength seems gone — faith acts anyway. Faith isn’t pretending everything’s fine; it’s declaring God’s promises even when feelings don’t agree. So when you don’t feel joyful — act joyful. When you feel weak — speak strength. When you feel unseen — remember you are known, chosen, and radiant. This episode is a reminder that faith moves first; emotions follow. Every time you lift your head, smile, and declare who God says you are, you’re retraining your mind and heart to mirror heaven’s reality.Vicky calls listeners to walk daily as the bride of Christ — confident, kind, and filled with light:Walk in confidence: You are royalty; lift your head high.Speak life: Let your words heal, not harm.Smile often: Joy disarms darkness.Shine brightly: The presence of God within you shifts atmospheres. When you enter a room, light enters with you — because you carry the presence of Christ. Darkness doesn’t stand a chance against that glow. The episode closes in prayer — a heartfelt moment of gratitude and renewal:“Lord, thank You for calling us Your bride. Thank You for beauty from ashes, joy from mourning, and strength from weariness. Renew our minds, our words, and our hearts, that we may carry Your image wherever we go.”Waging War on Your Knees isn’t just about prayer; it’s about posture — walking in victory, speaking life, and reflecting the glory of the One who loves you most. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are radiant. You are the bride of Christ.Support the mission:Visit https://buymeacoffee.com/wagingwar to partner with us, sponsor episodes, or pick up some merchandise. Why Mountains Move When Your Faith Speaks.
In this powerful episode of Waging War, host Vicky Devocht dives into one of the most overlooked weapons in a believer’s life — the spoken word. Our words don’t just fill space; they fill the atmosphere with either faith or fear, life or death, victory or defeat. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible shows that faith isn’t silent — it speaks, creates, declares, and commands. From the very beginning, God spoke the world into existence. He didn’t build creation with His hands — He built it with His words. “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” That same creative breath of God still moves through the words of His children today. When your words line up with His Word, heaven listens, hell trembles, and the impossible starts to shift.Vicky unpacks how Jesus modelled this perfectly. When the enemy tempted Him in the wilderness, He didn’t argue or beg. He said three simple words that shattered the darkness: It is written. When storms raged, He spoke and they calmed. When demons shrieked, He spoke and they fled. When sickness struck, He spoke and healing came. The pattern is clear — speak the Word, and the Word works. So what does that mean for us today? It means you can speak to fear. You can speak to sickness. You can speak to lack, doubt, or despair. You can tell them, “You have no place here.” Faith isn’t about waiting quietly for God to move; it’s about partnering with Him by declaring what He’s already promised. The Word says, “By His stripes we were healed.” Not will be — were. The work is finished. When we beg God for what He’s already given, we’re denying the victory that’s already ours. Faith doesn’t beg — faith believes. This episode is full of declarations you can make right now:“Thank you, Lord, I am healed.”“Thank you, Lord, I have the mind of Christ.”“Thank you, Lord, every need is met according to Your riches in glory.”Vicky reminds us that our posture often preaches louder than our words. When you square your shoulders, lift your chin, and walk with the quiet confidence of someone who belongs to the King of Kings, you’re proclaiming victory without saying a word. Faith speaks through your stance as much as through your sentences.Scripture after scripture reinforces this truth — that we’re meant to call things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). That means declaring healing when you feel pain. Declaring peace when chaos surrounds you. Declaring provision when the bank balance looks bare. Because speaking the Word doesn’t deny reality — it declares a greater one.Throughout this episode, Vicky gives practical ways to live this out:Speak the Word when you wake up. Begin your day by aligning your thoughts with God’s promises.Speak the Word over your children, your home, your health, your finances.Keep speaking even when you don’t see results yet. Faith speaks before it sees — doubt waits to see before it speaks.Feed your spirit daily the way you feed your body — through hearing, reading, and declaring the Word of God.Just as physical strength comes through consistency, spiritual strength grows through daily exercise of faith. You don’t get fit by visiting the gym once a month — and you don’t grow faith by quoting scripture once in a while. Keep showing up. Keep speaking up. Keep standing firm. When fear whispers, let faith shout louder. When everything looks impossible, say, “It is written.” Speak until heaven echoes it back to you.Because your voice — filled with faith, backed by the Word — is one of the most powerful forces on earth.Don’t just pray — say.Don’t just hope — declare.Don’t just wait — create with your words.Faith speaks. Faith stands. Faith sees.So today, lift your head, warrior bride, and remember: the Word works when you work the Word.Support the mission:Visit https://buymeacoffee.com/wagingwar to partner with us, sponsor episodes, or pick up some merchandise. How Praise Becomes a Weapon of Faith
In this powerful episode, we step into the heart of spiritual warfare — not with anger or fear, but on our knees, through prayer and praise. Drawing inspiration from the 2015 film War Room and teachings from faith leaders like Kenneth Hagin, this reflection reminds us that the battleground of life is often invisible, and the greatest victories are won in surrender to God.Vicky recounts how the War Room film rekindled a vital truth: that submission to God is not weakness but power. The story of the elderly prayer warrior mentoring a younger, struggling woman becomes a mirror for all of us — showing what it looks like to reclaim authority in Christ. When the young woman stands in her prayer closet declaring, “This house is under new management,” we’re reminded that faith-filled words can shift an atmosphere, cast out fear, and re-establish peace where chaos once ruled. From there, the conversation turns to the teaching of Kenneth Hagin and his message Believe Before You See: Three Steps That Turn Praise Into Miracles. It’s a lesson in active faith — the kind that doesn’t wait for proof before thanking God. We learn that praise is the bridge between believing and receiving — a truth echoed in Romans 4:17: “I call those things which be not as though they were.” Praise, then, is not noise; it’s the voice of faith. It’s the moment we stop pleading for victory and start walking in it.As the episode unfolds, it becomes both a testimony and an invitation. What happens when we turn worry into worship, or pain into praise? When we speak life over our families, our marriages, our health — before the evidence shows up? The host shares personal moments of transformation, describing how daily praise has reshaped their own outlook, brought peace into once-heavy days, and reminded them that joy is rooted not in circumstance but in Christ alone.Listeners are gently guided toward practical rhythms of worship:In the morning: play a worship song before reaching for your phone. At noon: pause to thank God for simple provisions — even your lunch. In the evening: write down three things you’re grateful for, or whisper a quiet prayer of thanks before sleep. These simple acts anchor our hearts, re-align our thoughts, and build spiritual resilience. Praise, the episode reminds us, is not about feeling happy — it’s about declaring truth when emotions say otherwise. Even when you’re weary, praise resets perspective from your problems to God’s power. There’s a nod to an old hymn — “Praise Him, Praise Him, All Ye Little Children” — and to Psalm 150: “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” Through these echoes of timeless faith, we’re called back to the essence of worship: gratitude, trust, and the quiet strength that grows when we choose joy in the face of struggle. This isn’t a message of easy answers. It’s a call to active faith — the kind that resists despair with worship and confronts darkness with light. It’s an encouragement to every believer who feels weary from the fight: don’t quit, don’t lose heart. Rise up in praise. There is power in your words, and victory in your worship. So if you’re battling discouragement, fear, or doubt — this episode is a reminder that your greatest weapon isn’t control, but surrender. True warfare begins not in shouting louder, but in bowing lower.Because when we wage war on our knees, we find the strength to stand tall in faith.Support this podcast and join the mission at buymeacoffee.com/wagingwar. 4 Keys To Living Revival Ready In The End Times
In this stirring episode of Waging War on Your Knees, host Vicky Devocht welcomes Jeff Murton, author of Revival Ready, for a powerful conversation about walking through the fire, living for the harvest, and positioning ourselves for God’s next great move. From the very start, Vicky reminds us of a timeless truth: “The minute we fight in the flesh, we are weak, and the enemy gains the advantage. But when we fall on our knees in prayer, the Spirit of God moves mountains.” This episode is a call to believers everywhere to rise up, put on the armor of God, and live prepared in these end times.Jeff shares the holy urgency that inspired him to write Revival Ready. Revival, he explains, isn’t something we watch like an event — it’s something we carry. It begins inside of us, flows through our lives, and overflows into our communities. With clarity and passion, Jeff identifies the defining moment when he realized revival isn’t about crowds or entertainment, but about God’s fire igniting one heart at a time.Signs of a Heart Prepared for RevivalIn the discussion, Jeff outlines the characteristics of a life ready for God’s move: • Prayer: not just meetings, but daily, secret-place prayer that fuels intimacy with God. • Holiness: repentance and surrender, allowing God to refine us in the furnace. • Unity: laying aside petty arguments and divisions, choosing oneness in Christ. • Urgency: living every day as if Jesus could return at any moment.Barriers to RevivalSo what keeps the church from being ready? Jeff doesn’t hesitate: comfort and distraction. Too many believers want the fire without the furnace, craving the thrill of revival but resisting the refining process. He challenges us to move beyond routine, distraction, and complacency — into the costly, beautiful place of preparation.Revival That Impacts CommunitiesRevival isn’t just about spiritual highs inside church walls. True revival spills into the streets. Jeff explains how transformed hearts naturally lead to transformed communities — feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, healing the broken, and meeting real needs with the love of Christ. This is where Jeff and Vicky connect revival to the mission of Home Suite Home Affordable Housing. Housing the vulnerable and creating sustainable solutions for families in need is revival in action. As Jeff puts it, “Revival is holy fire with our hands and feet.”Lessons from HistoryDrawing on his study of past revivals — including the Welsh Revival, Azusa Street, and the Brownsville Outpouring — Jeff highlights a common truth: God rarely starts with the strong. Instead, He breathes on weak vessels who are hungry for Him. Your hunger matters more than your résumé. Revival is birthed through ordinary people who are desperate for God.Practical Steps to Get Revival ReadyListeners will walk away with concrete steps to apply today: 1. Return to secret-place prayer. 2. Pursue holiness with sincerity and repentance. 3. Fight for unity in the Body of Christ. 4. Live with urgency for the Lord’s return.A Final Word of EncouragementJeff closes with a personal encouragement: “Don’t wait for the crowds. Revival begins with one heart. It begins with you, today, in your living room, in your car, in the secret place. One yes from you, and God will move.”This episode is a wake-up call and a promise. The fire is coming. Waging War on Your Knees | Prayer, Power, and Speaking Life in the End Times.
Welcome to Waging War on Our Knees, hosted by Vicky Devocht. In this episode, we lean into one of the most powerful kingdom principles: life and death are in the power of the tongue. As Christians living in these urgent days, we are called not to fight in the flesh but to rise up as a praying people — a warrior bride — ready for the battles of the end times. We are reminded from Ephesians that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but our strength is found when we drop to our knees in prayer and call upon the Lord. Through the authority of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, mountains can be moved, chains broken, and lives transformed. In this teaching, Vicky walks through practical and biblical truths on how to:Speak with authority: Jesus told us to say to the mountain, “Be removed and cast into the sea.” We are not called to talk about our problems but to speak directly to them with faith.Use the cycle of confession, declaration, and obedience: Your words are not empty sounds — they carry spiritual law. What you declare today becomes the harvest you live tomorrow.Resist doubt: The enemy attacks quickly when truth takes root. Learn how to cast down doubt, resist the devil, and remain steadfast.Engage ministering angels: Hebrews 1:14 reminds us that angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who inherit salvation. Vicky shares how to call on them biblically to move on your behalf.Guard your tongue: Stop speaking out negativity and defeat. Words like “I’ll never get free” or “my kids are always sick” create footholds for the enemy. Instead, declare God’s promises boldly.Live out obedience: Declarations must be paired with faith-filled action. Align your daily choices with what you speak so your words aren’t cancelled by contradiction.Stand firm in repetition: Paul often repeated the same truths to ground believers. In the same way, we must speak God’s promises again and again until they are alive in our spirit.Throughout the episode, you’ll be challenged to look at your words as seeds. Are you planting seeds of life, hope, and victory, or seeds of fear, doubt, and lack? You’ll be encouraged to replace negative speech with bold declarations of faith — whether you’re facing addiction, debt, conflict in the workplace, or struggles in your relationships.Vicky also shares a prayer of salvation for those ready to surrender their lives to Christ. If you haven’t yet made that decision, this is your moment. Time is short, and Jesus is calling His people to be set apart, steadfast, and ready for His return. This episode is not just teaching — it’s training. It’s a reminder that revival is coming, the harvest is ready, and Jesus is raising up His remnant to stand firm in the Spirit. The battle is here, but it’s not ours to fight in our own strength. We fight on our knees, wielding the Word of God as our sword and lifting our voices in faith-filled prayer. As you listen, may your spirit be stirred, your faith strengthened, and your words sharpened as weapons of victory. If you’ve been encouraged by Waging War on Your Knees, consider supporting this ministry through buymeacoffee.com/wagingwar.
