This Sunday at Way Church, Ben Tarbuck hosted a special Father’s Day panel conversation joined by Graham Hogg, Kofi Affram and Tiago Martins. This Sunday marked our first gathering of 2026 and Ben Tarbuck opened the year by launching our new series, “We Are the Move of God.” This series flows from a prophetic word God has given our church, rooted in the truth that God does far more than we can ask or imagine, through His people.Ben drew from the story of Gideon, reminding us how God often calls ordinary people who feel uncertain, unqualified or unseen and then reveals who they truly are in Him. Just as Gideon was invited to see himself through God’s eyes, we too are being called to rise in faith and step into what God is doing and calling us to.This message sets the tone for the year ahead: a call to trust God’s voice, move in obedience and believe that He is at work in and through us. A joyful moment to honour the birth of Jesus Christ and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.Ben Tarbuck shared a heartfelt message reminding us that Christmas is not just a season of giving, but a moment where heaven gave its greatest gift. God sent His Son not to condemn the world, but to draw us close, offering love, grace and salvation.In a world focused on presents, this message gently calls us back to presence. This Sunday, Chevon Taylor opened our December series, “The Table,” by reminding us that throughout Scripture, God meets His people at the table. Jesus identifies Himself with the hungry and the stranger, God sets a table in His dwelling place, Jesus sits with sinners and the early church breaks bread as an act of devotion. Again and again the table becomes a place of encounter.Chevon spoke of Jesus’ radical hospitality, a Savior who doesn’t wait for us to come to Him but chooses to come close, to sit with us, to share life with us. As we move toward celebrating His birth, we’re invited to open our tables the way He opened His life: with welcome, grace and room for others.This season, may our tables reflect His heart, places where people are seen, loved and met by the presence of Jesus.

This Sunday, Jake Isaac led us in a deeply moving message. He invited us to look honestly at our prayer lives at what we bring to God, how we speak to Him, and what we truly believe about the One who listens.Drawing from Jesus’ own example, Jake reminded us that prayer is not performance, pressure or ritual but a relationship. It’s the place where we learn to breathe again, to trust again, to surrender again. Using AI visuals as a wake-up call, she showed how easily we can be deceived without spiritual clarity.She reminded us that discernment is a God-given gift and a daily practice sharpened by seeking Him, listening closely and learning to recognise His voice above the noise.Are you ready to see clearly? This Sunday, continuing in our Like Jesus series, we had the joy of hearing Lucy Ayres bring a deeply spiritual and soul-awakening message.She invited us to look honestly at what it truly means to give everything to God, not just our resources but our desires, our motives, our security and our whole lives. Lucy reminded us that giving like Jesus isn’t about loss; it’s about stepping into the fullness of life that comes when we release our grip and place everything in His hands.With a tender but challenging call, Lucy showed us that God’s love is generous, overflowing and sacrificial. When we surrender to Him, that same love begins to flow through us. To give like Jesus is to trust Him with our future, to loosen our hold on the things that weigh us down and to allow His life to shine through every choice we make.

This Sunday we had the pleasure of hearing from Ben Tarbuck as he continued our Like Jesus series with a powerful message. Ben reminded us that true service isn’t limited to a Sunday or a task, it’s a posture of the heart. Each of us carries the gift of reconciliation meaning wherever we go God’s Kingdom goes with us. Dave challenged us to shift our mindset: Sunday isn’t a time to recharge but a celebration of how God has already worked through us during the week. A powerful reminder that we are all called to lead like Jesus.

This Sunday we opened our new series “…Like Jesus” with Chevon Taylor leading us back to the foundation of transformation, truly knowing who Jesus is. She reminded us that Christ was not random in history but planned, promised and given for us and that becoming like Him is not about copying behavior but surrendering our lives to be remade by His love. The message ended with a call to lay down whatever still competes with Jesus in us: a habit, a lifestyle, a comfort or a “no” that must become “yes” so that His life can take shape in ours.

This Sunday at Way Church Ben Tarbuck closed out our ‘All to Him’ series with a powerful and moving message on full surrender to God.Drawing from the life of Daniel, Ben showed us what it looks like to stand firm in faith while shifting the culture around us. Daniel didn’t compromise instead he chose devotion over comfort, prayer over fear and faith over conformity. In return, God’s presence sustained him, protected him and used him as a vessel of influence.We were reminded that when we give our all to Him, we don’t lose instead we gain everything. In the face of pressure, trials or even lions, our surrender becomes our strength because God is with us and He is for us.Let this be a call to live boldly, love deeply and stand faithfully. He’s worthy of it all.
