    Valid Reasons

This episode, we reflect on the previous week, our commitments, and running on island time. Kim shares a time that she didn’t show up to something she committed to and her reason why. Although it was valid, it didn’t make it right to break her commitment. There are many things we can look back on and see how we may have not kept our word. However, we firmly believe that we MUST take note of that and change it. Do not allow your “valid reasons” or feelings keep you from following through with your word. We share an example of this with the promise we made to our children and how we still showed up in keeping it. Commitment is doing what you said you would, long after the mood you said it in has left.

    HEART TO HOST

The heart of exceptional hospitality derives from the heart, as genuine warmth and sincerity are the foundation of a memorable guest experience. When the intention to host guests with kindness and a genuine desire to ensure their comfort originates from the heart, it transcends mere superficial gestures. A heartfelt approach fosters a connection that goes beyond the physical aspects of hosting; it permeates the atmosphere with a sense of authenticity and care. True hospitality is not merely a set of prescribed behaviors but an attitude cultivated within, reflecting a host's commitment to creating an environment where guests feel genuinely welcomed and valued. In essence, the heart becomes the compass guiding hosts to anticipate needs, offer thoughtful gestures, and foster an atmosphere that transforms a stay into a heartfelt and enriching experience for their guests.

    Dreaming Of A Green Christmas

On this episode, we share our memories of Christmas in the Islands. We hope that by sharing these memories, you'll find that Christmas is not the same everywhere. Some give gifts, some don't. A sad Christmas this year doesn't affect the happy Christmases of years to come. The real joy of Christmas is sharing that special time with the folks that you love the most and love you back the most. Don't let anything steal your Christmas' joy. Hug closely those that are dear to your heart. And don't forget that life can always be better. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, made that completely clear to us by laying down his life that we may experience a full meaningful life, now in this life and the life to come!

    Coming to America

Hey friends! On this episode, we share how we came up with our podcast name. “What Anna said” is a phrase that originated from our childhood and has become something between us siblings. Throughout our entire lives, our big sister Anna always spoke eloquently. As a result, we chose her to speak first so when it was our turn - we would look at her and say “yes, what Anna said”. She always had a way with taking what we want to say and explaining it way better than we could on our own. Do you have a sibling like this? Who had a way with words? Who could also code switch when needed?

  41. -3

    Just A Dream

This is an introduction to us sharing that we have always wanted to start a podcast. It was a dream of mine to do this with my sisters and I am so thankful that they have finally agreed to start one. Come along as we grow and evolve as we learn more. On this episode, we talk about our childhood, our weddings, an elopement, and more!
