In this episode, I share a sermon that I delivered at New Wine Church in Kansas City, MO. This was a very challenging sermon for me as I prepared it as well as delivered it. I spoke about the parable of the good samaritan and how difficult it is actually to love our neighbor.

We will be diving into the Lord's Prayer and how we can use it when we pray! “Our Father in heaven,  hallowed be your name.  Your kingdom come,  your will be done,  on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

What does it mean to love your neighbor as yourself? We hear this over and over again in scripture and even have a "golden rule" that sounds very similar to this! What does it mean?!

We live in some odd times, to say the least. Currently we the entire world is on lockdown as we navigate the COVID-19 epidemic. I don't know about you, but I know that as I attempt to be well informed I sense anxiety and fear slipping into my life. The more fear builds up in my life there less I become grounded in my faith in God. Jesus has an amazing way of breaking the boundaries of life, fear, and anxiety to move in the most intentional way in pursuit of you and me to bring us to his family. When we accept the invitation, our lives can change in the most unpredicted way! In this episode, we will look at a story out of the gospel of John when Jesus encounters, persues, and invites an acceptable woman to be part of his kingdom! 

1 Kings is full of great stories of the kings and leaders of Israel. In this episode we dive into chapter 18 of 1 Kings where we unpack a story of one prophet against 450 other prophets and their influence on the nation of Israel.

Sabbath! In this episode, we unpack what sabbath rest means and how we can apply it to our routine to get some true, Godly rest!
