Christianity is a reasonable faith. You don't have to hysterical, you don't have to argue - all you need to do is to present the facts.

You're not required to be smart or to be different -- all you have to do is be real with God and be faithful in sharing your Savior with others.

Being of one mind includes having compassion or sympathy for what the person is facing. We can be like-minded through the love Christ puts in our hearts and suffer along with others. Be courteous and humble about yourself.

Learn all you can about your wife. You honor your wife by not criticizing her, but encouraging. To honor means to value her opinion. Pray together as heirs of the grace of God.

We are compared to sheep who wander off. Jesus is shown as the shepherd who goes after us and brings us back. He supplies every aspect of our needs as we let him care for us.

Jesus death freed us from sin, the law and death. Give over the areas you still have trouble surrendering.

Don't use your freedom to sin, but to glorify God. Turn habits over to God by faith and use your freedom to serve others.

The first thing in this matter of fearing God is to realize that God is almighty, He is sovereign, He is supreme, He's the creator — you're the creature, He's the potter — you're the clay.

Holiness in action is as a result of our salvation. Being born again is a new life aquired without money, society or human effort.

We live holy lives because of what God's Word commands, because of the cost of Christ's death.

Following our own desires, what we want instead of what God wants for us is what shapes us. Our desires need to line up with God's plan and a holy lifestyle.

The idea of fashioning our lives. We choose whether we let our desires rule us or God's will mold us.

The definition of girding up your mind: preparing your mental attitude for the spiritual battle of the Christian.

Commitment to faith in Christ comes from your love of Him. Joy is the result of the surrender of your life to God.

Trials test and refine our faith. Our faith is strengthened as we go through the trials.

We have joy because of the person of Christ. Jesus understands how we feel in the trials we go through.

God keeps us through His Holy Spirit, His Word and His power that can control our lives. Hide God's Word in your heart and mind so it changes how you live.

Because Christ is alive we have a certain hope for our present, future and eternity. Our faith is kept by the Word in our hearts and by the Holy Spirit living in us.

The result of being made alive is joy, peace and a living hope. Hope is the fact that Christ is alive and is the hope for my future.
