023 ~ Origins of YSM Part 2: What Kept Not Happening
A retreat kept not happening. Online yoga kept not happening. Structured formats kept not happening. For months, everything they tried to build together quietly refused to become. In Part 2 of the Origins of YSM series, Danielle YS and Victoria McMahon explore what it means to keep listening when everything you reach for keeps slipping away — and why the sifting itself was the work. Not everything that doesn't happen is a failure. Some things don't happen because something else is waiting to be found.Together YSM explores:• The magnets metaphor — why different people are drawn to different energies, and why YSM has never tried to be everyone's cup of tea — that clarity is part of the design• What it takes to sit and listen with someone for a full year before knowing what you're creating — the courage, the fortitude, and the Self-awareness that makes it safe enough to keep going• Revelation and generation as a cycle: how each presence pulls something out of the other, and how that cycle is different from ordinary back-and-forth conversation• The multidimensional nature of presence — listening that extends beyond humans, into trees, animals, Nature, and the field that's created between Beings who are truly in conversation• All the things that kept not happening — structured retreats, online yoga, formatted programs — and what was finally revealed when YSM stopped trying to decide what it should beWhat is the work you can't not do? What is the being you can't not be? This episode is one long exploration of that question. In this episode:[00:00:56] Picking up where we left off — the cubby invitation and what drew them together[00:02:18] The magnets: not everybody will be drawn to this — and that's part of the design[00:03:21] What it takes to sit and listen to someone for a year — courage and self-awareness[00:04:05] Revelation and generation as a cycle: the presencing that creates something new[00:05:06] What makes this different from ordinary conversation — presence in the field between[00:06:18] Multidimensional presence — talking to trees, horses, the natural world[00:07:46] Everything kept not happening: sifting through what didn't want to be generated[00:09:30] "What is the work you can't not do? 022 ~ Origins of YSM Part 1: Eavesdrop on Us
Some things don't begin. They emerge. YSM didn't start with a plan, a vision board, or a clear goal. It started with two women who had met once in person — in Sedona — and couldn't stop sensing that something more wanted to be born through their conversations. In Part 1 of the Origins of YSM series, Danielle YS and Victoria McMahon trace how a single conversation on a virtual platform became eleven months of private weekly conversations — before a single word of it was ever shared with the world. The metaphor that found them early: it feels like you've wandered into a restaurant, overheard two women at the table next to you, and realized you've been looking for exactly this conversation your whole life.Together YSM explores:• The CreateAWorld conversation that sparked everything — and what it felt like to sense, without knowing why, that something more wanted to be born through these two women• Eleven months of private weekly meetings before going public — showing up every week with no product, no agenda, and no certainty about where it was going• The one time Danielle and Victoria met in person — a Sedona business retreat, one shared room, one request from Victoria that drew a response from every single woman present — and what that moment revealed about the quality of presence between them• "Self-generating and Self-revealing" — how YSM became something neither woman could have designed, because what wanted to emerge could only be discovered through the listening itself• The "eavesdrop" invitation: pull up a chair to the kind of real, unscripted, living conversation most people are quietly hungry forWhat does it feel like when something is being born? This is what it sounds like.In this episode:[00:00:56] Welcome to the Origins of YSM series — what brought Danielle and Victoria together[00:01:51] "Something needed to happen, but we didn't know what" — the beginning of the experiment[00:02:16] The CreateAWorld conversation that first sparked the connection[00:02:43] Stumbling blocks and safety: showing up to collaboration with full honesty[00:03:35] Victoria's reflection on YSM as its own field with its own energy[00:04:39] What kept drawing Victoria to want to be in conversation with Danielle[00:05:51] "Self-generating and self-revealing" — the nature of what YSM has become[00:06:34] An organic origin: choosing not to decide where this would lead[00:07:11] The Sedona meeting — the only time they've met in person — and Victoria's request[00:08:30] "It feels like we're out to eat lunch and someone can just eavesdrop in"[00:09:07] The cubby invitation — what it means to welcome others into the conversation✨ Book your free Threshold Assessment with Danielle:https://danielleys.com/calendar📝 Subscribe to Victoria's writing:https://substack.com/@vibrantsoulcoaching📺 Subscribe to our channels for more Generative Listening — where listening deeply to the Self, to each other, and to the intelligence of the Universe opens a door to something genuinely new.

021 ~ Consciously Completing Part 4: The Opposite of Patriarchy Isn't Matriarchy
The word "matriarch" was invented in the 17th century — a false analogy of patriarch. Before that, there was no word for a woman leader. Not in ancient Greek. Not in the dominant language of the dominant system. Not anywhere the record was kept.In Part 4 — the finale — of the Consciously Completing series, Danielle YS and Victoria McMahon explore what it means to consciously complete with old systems and old paradigms, beginning with the one that has shaped every other: patriarchy.Consciously completing with patriarchy doesn't mean installing matriarchy in its place. It means dissolving the very framework that created the need for an "opposite" — and stepping into an integrated wholeness that neither system has a word for. Yet.Together YSM explores:• The etymology of "matriarch" — why it was invented in the 17th century as a false analogy of patriarch, what its absence from ancient language reveals about how power has been framed, and why the solution isn't what we've been told• Why the opposite of patriarchy is not matriarchy — and why swapping who's at the head of the table produces the same system with a different face• The heroine's journey vs. the hero's journey — and why the next story may be the human journey, something that hasn't been written yet• The infinity sign as a symbol of what's coming: where the two circles cross, something genuinely new is born in the sacred union — a consciousness beyond the binary• "What is the being you can't not be?" — Victoria's closing reframe that elevates the whole series and names what consciously completing is ultimately asking of usThe new system doesn't have a name yet. That might be exactly the point. In this episode:[00:00:56] Welcome to Part 4 — consciously completing with old systems and old paradigms[00:01:20] A recap of the series arc: rest and reconnection, pruning, the meticulous-messy, and now old systems[00:02:09] Why YSM chose to start with patriarchy — and going back to the origin of the word[00:03:09] The etymology: "matriarch" as a 17th-century false analogy — no Greek word for a woman leader existed[00:04:12] Victoria's somatic response — the rage of an omitted voice, and the activation beneath it[00:05:36] Restoring the intertwined resonance — not as a return to the past, but as something genuinely new[00:08:05] The opposite of patriarchy is not matriarchy — integration is not replacement[00:09:42] The heroine's journey: the seesaw, the over-pruning, and the final step above ground[00:11:42] Hero's journey vs. heroine's journey — and the human journey that's still being written[00:13:47] The infinity sign: where two circles cross and the sacred union is born[00:16:00] "Mutual tasking" — human on behalf of human, on behalf of the whole[00:17:19] "What is the being you can't not be?" — the closing question that completes the series✨ Book your free Threshold Assessment with Danielle:https://danielleys.com/calendar📝 Subscribe to Victoria's writing:https://substack.com/@vibrantsoulcoaching📺 Subscribe to our channels for more Generative Listening — where listening deeply to the Self, to each other, and to the intelligence of the Universe opens a door to something genuinely new.

020 ~ Consciously Completing Part 3: What Is the Work You Can't Not Do?
Some patterns don't prune cleanly. That might be the whole point. In Part 3 of the Consciously Completing series, Danielle YS and Victoria McMahon explore the meticulous art of discernment — what it means to complete not a whole branch, but precisely the right piece of even your most ingrained patterns. You're not removing people-pleasing. You're releasing the part that comes from fear — and keeping the part that comes from love. The art is knowing the difference.Together YSM explores:• Why some of our deepest patterns — people-pleasing, caretaking, the reflexive putting of others first — can't be pruned cleanly, and why that may be the wisdom, not the obstacle• The Michelangelo principle: how the most profound completions don't remove what's there, but reveal what's already inside — "I'm not carving the marble. I'm releasing the angel."• The meticulous within the messy — why devoted, precise attention to what's alive in you is itself a form of consciously completing, not a detour from it• "What is the work you can't not do?" — the question that cuts through the noise and points toward where your life force is genuinely flowing• Completion as a spiral, not a finish line — how each consciously completing opens into a new awakening rather than a closed doorThe invitation isn't to release everything. It's to become meticulous with what's alive. In this episode:[00:00:56] Opening: Victoria's people-pleasing moment at the gym — meticulous care for another, messy forgetting of herself[00:03:56] Why people-pleasing can't simply be pruned — and what de-limbing vs. sculpting reveals about lineage-deep patterns[00:06:57] From lobbing to sculpting: topiary and bonsai as a model for meticulous, devoted self-shaping[00:08:27] The Michelangelo principle — not carving the marble, releasing the angel that's already inside[00:11:52] Victoria's card: "What is the work you can't not do?" — and why this question is the real funnel back to life force[00:12:55] YSM goes live on Spotify — the meticulous-within-messy as the work itself[00:15:40] Completion as a dance: one completing opens into the next awakening[00:17:00] Looking ahead to Part 4: feminine and masculine energies in the completing spiral✨ Book your free Threshold Assessment with Danielle:https://danielleys.com/calendar📝 Subscribe to Victoria's writing:https://substack.com/@vibrantsoulcoac...📺 Subscribe to our channels for more Generative Listening — where listening deeply to the Self, to each other, and to the intelligence of the Universe opens a door to something genuinely new.

016 ~ Collapsing into Wholeness Part 4: Free Fall Is How You Float
What if the ground dropping out beneath you isn't a problem to avoid — but the beginning of a reordering, a rebirth? In Part 4 of the Collapsing into Wholeness series, Danielle YS and Victoria McMahon explore ordering — and discover that the new structure doesn't have to be forced. It wants to happen. The ordering you've been waiting for doesn't need to be manufactured. It's already in motion — the moment you stop clenching.Together they explore:• How two strangers sitting together at a networking event generated simultaneous breakthroughs — and what that reveals about the intelligence already ordering the field around us• Victoria's hotel nudge: what it means to be moved by the greater consciousness into conversation, and how that listening opens whole new threads of meaning• "In form" to be "informed" — how coming into physical form is itself how we receive knowledge, and the cosmic dance of spaciousness, concreteness, and dissolution• What happens in the body when the ground drops out — the dissolution, the clench, and why unclenching is the pathway into the next wholeness• Free fall and floating are physically identical — and how reordering your psyche around that truth changes your entire relationship to collapseThe astronauts in orbit around the Earth are in constant free fall. They just stopped calling it falling.✨ Book your free Threshold Assessment with Danielle:https://danielleys.com/calendar📝 Subscribe to Victoria's writing:https://substack.com/@vibrantsoulcoac...📺 Subscribe to our channels for more conversations on navigating uncertainty and life transitions.

011 ~ Centering in Uncertainty Part 3: There's Nothing You Need to Do
In a world that constantly tells us to fix, solve, and figure things out, what if the real shift begins when we stop trying to do anything at all?In Part 3 of the Centering in Uncertainty series, Danielle YS and Victoria McMahon explore a radical idea:there may be nothing you need to do.Instead of reacting, fixing, or forcing clarity, this conversation invites a different approach — pausing, feeling, and allowing the deeper intelligence of life to unfold.Together we explore:• Why the impulse to fix often arises when we haven’t fully felt the experience• How pausing creates space for clarity to emerge naturally• The shift from binary “either/or” thinking into a more expansive awareness• The surprising connections between science, spirituality, and embodied awareness• How practicing presence in uncertainty can transform your relationship with changeIf you're navigating a life transition, leadership shift, or a season where what used to work no longer does — this conversation offers a grounded way to meet the Unknown with calm, curiosity, and Self-trust.Because sometimes the most powerful shift begins when we stop trying to force one.✨ Begin your Next Chapter Clarity Call with Danielle:https://danielleys.com/calendar📝 Subscribe to Victoria’s writing:https://substack.com/@vibrantsoulcoac...📺 Subscribe to our channels for more conversations on navigating uncertainty and life transitions.

Should I do this… or that?Welcome to Centering in Uncertainty — Part 1 of this YSM Conversations mini-series.In this episode, Danielle YS and Victoria McMahon explore:• Why either/or thinking is a natural survival mechanism• How black-and-white thinking creates mental “grabbing”• What it means to pause on the bridge of uncertainty• The first step toward moving from “this or that” into “what is”• How regulation and presence open new possibilitiesIf you’re navigating uncertainty in your life, leadership, or career, this series is for you.Instead of forcing answers, we explore how to center yourself inside the unknown — and what becomes possible when you do.—✨ Begin your Next Chapter Clarity Call with Danielle:https://danielleys.com/calendar📝 Subscribe to Victoria’s blog:https://substack.com/@vibrantsoulcoac...—Subscribe for the full Centering in Uncertainty series and upcoming conversations on navigating thresholds, regulation, and the magic of the in-between.#CenteringInUncertainty #YSMConversations #EitherOrThinking #PersonalGrowth #WomenInLeadership #LifeTransitions #LiminalSpace #EmotionalRegulation

017 ~ Collapsing into Wholeness Part 5: The Clench Is Upon Us
What if everything falling apart — the clench, the dissolving, the not-knowing what comes next — is already the order revealing itself? In the final episode of the Collapsing into Wholeness series, Danielle YS and Victoria McMahon close with buoyancy: the art of being present in the process rather than reaching for what it becomes. The small collapses are rehearsals. The large ones are what you've been practicing for.Together they explore:• Victoria's craniosacral session — how a nervous system reset became an exploration of float space, ancestral grief, and the quiet ordering that happens when we stop analyzing and start observing• The network effect: how humans feel, transmit, and receive each other's energy without words — and what becomes possible when we stop suppressing that intelligence and start honoring it• The GOD framework — Generating, Ordering, Destroying — and how the same principle appears across traditions, philosophies, and the natural world as evidence that destruction is not an accident. It is by design.• Seasonal cycles and the phoenix: how the leaf that falls becomes food for the next seed, and why reorienting around the natural cycle of collapse frees us from treating destruction as something to prevent• The clench as practice — from breath to body: how noticing the clench in a small moment builds your capacity to release it in the large ones, and how laughter itself is permission to let goEvery Crossing is practice for the next one. 015 ~ Collapsing into Wholeness Part 3: The Slingshot Effect
What if the collapse we're experiencing right now is the activation energy that launches your next chapter? In Part 3 of the Collapsing into Wholeness series, Danielle YS and Victoria McMahon explore how collapse doesn't just destroy — it generates.Collapse is not the end of the story. It's the energy that propels the slingshot.Together they explore:• The Great Oxidation Event: how oxygen's emergence killed most life on Earth — and generated every species, ecosystem, and form of land-based life we know today• "Fast culture" as a collapse in progress — fast fashion, shortened attention spans, and nervous system overload pointing toward a slow revolution already underway• Orbital slingshot mechanics as a metaphor for using collapse's momentum to launch forward rather than getting stuck in orbit around the same old patterns• Activation energy — why we need enough collapse to finally clear the hump into our next chapter, and why smoldering (brown dwarf energy) isn't enough• What it means to stay present in your choice: the difference between being consciously propelled and unconsciously taken for the rideWhether you're sitting in the dip or riding the fast lane, the invitation is the same: pause, choose, and generate what you actually want.✨ Begin your Next Chapter Clarity Call with Danielle:https://danielleys.com/calendar📝 Subscribe to Victoria's writing:https://substack.com/@vibrantsoulcoac...📺 Subscribe to our channels for more conversations on navigating uncertainty and life transitions.

Two and a half billion years ago, oxygen was toxic to all life on Earth. Then it became the key to everything. In Part 2 of the Collapsing into Wholeness series, Danielle YS and Victoria McMahon bring the conversation closer — exploring what collapse feels like from the inside, and how the very thing that feels toxic right now might be what transforms us.The obstacle is the way. The oxygen is the path.Together they explore:• The Great Oxidation Event: how a “toxic” substance became the engine of Earth’s diversification — and what it means for us now• Technology as our oxygen — why what overwhelms us today might be what catalyzes our next evolution• From numbing to transforming: how to shift your relationship to technology (including one practice to start tonight)• What collapse feels like in the body — and how to open to receiving rather than contracting in fight, flight, or freeze• The ripple effect: how regulating your own nervous system is an act of care on behalf of all of usEvery breath you take is made possible by a collapse that happened 2.5 billion years ago.✨ Begin your Next Chapter Clarity Call with Danielle:https://danielleys.com/calendar📝 Subscribe to Victoria’s writing:https://substack.com/@vibrantsoulcoac...📺 Subscribe to our channels for more conversations on navigating uncertainty and life transitions.

019 ~ Consciously Completing Part 2: You Can't Grow Without Pruning
Healthy trees need pruning. So do we.In Part 2 of the Consciously Completing series, Danielle YS and Victoria McMahon explore what it means to consciously tend your inner tree — the roots that ground you, the branches you've grown, and the wisdom hidden in what's been pruned, severed, or left behind. Not everything from your lineage is meant to come with you into what's next. And not everything that was pruned was meant to stay pruned. The art — and the practice — is knowing the difference.Together YSM explores:• The tree as a living metaphor for lineage: how roots, trunk, branches, leaves, and pruning all have something to teach about what we carry and what we release• The mycelium network beneath the forest floor — how trees share information underground, and what it reveals about the invisible ways women carry each other across generations• Conscious pruning vs. unconscious carrying — why the body, not the mind, holds the discernment for what's ready to be released and what still needs to come forward• Lightning bolts, the Tower card, and Sequoias that need fire to germinate — how the sudden, unexpected severances in a life can be the very thing the next generation needs• The new origin story: what your lineage has been trying to pass forward, what was pruned too soon and is waiting to be reclaimed, and the new branch you're stepping onto — even before you know what it will bearSome of what was lost in the pruning was preparation, not loss.In this episode:[00:00:56] Welcome to Part 2 — story, the tree, and what the feminine lineage is asking us to carry[00:03:16] The mycelium network — how trees communicate underground, and what it reveals about the invisible bonds between women across generations[00:06:44] Conscious pruning — why healthy trees require it, and the danger of both extremes: too much, or carrying everything forward[00:09:12] When lightning strikes — how unexpected severance opens space for something genuinely new[00:10:17] The Tower card and the Sequoia: why fire is how the next generation comes through[00:13:12] Mother's Day thread — what a long life roots in us, what is releasing, and what carries forward in the values we inherit[00:15:09] The new origin story — both new and ancient; the branch you're walking out into before you know its fruit[00:18:26] What will you recover? — reclaiming what was pruned from your lineage before it could be passed forward✨ Book your free Threshold Assessment with Danielle:https://danielleys.com/calendar📝 Subscribe to Victoria's writing:https://substack.com/@vibrantsoulcoac...📺 Subscribe to our channels for more Generative Listening — where listening deeply to the Self, to each other, and to the intelligence of the Universe opens a door to something genuinely new.

013 ~ Collapsing into Wholeness Part 1: What Every Collapse Is Actually For
What if everything falling apart is how the Universe creates something new?In Part 1 of the Collapsing into Wholeness series, Danielle YS and Victoria McMahon open a conversation about collapse — not as catastrophe, but as the precondition for every new beginning.Drawing on cosmology, astrobiology, and the ancient G-O-D cycle (Generating, Ordering, Destroying), they reframe what’s happening in the world around us — and inside us.Together they explore:• Why stars can’t be born without collapsing first — and what that means for humans navigating change• The G-O-D cycle: Generating, Ordering, Destroying — and why all three phases are essential, including the one we fear most• How communities instinctively weave together after collapse — like wound fibers coming together to create something new• The collapse of external systems (governance, culture, time itself) as an invitation to restore inner rhythms• Why collapse is like panning for gold: the sifting away is how the gold gets revealedIf the world feels like it’s shaking loose what doesn’t belong right now, it is. 012 ~ Centering in Uncertainty Part 4: Making Space for What Is
What if the clarity you're searching for doesn’t come from doing more… but from making space for what already is?In Part 4 of the Centering in Uncertainty series, Danielle YS and Victoria McMahon explore the next step beyond “nothing to fix”: creating space for the Unknown to reveal its deeper possibilities. When we face uncertainty, many of us instinctively try to anchor ourselves by doing more, thinking more, or fixing more. Danielle calls this “More-ing.” But what if the invitation is the opposite — to "un-more", step out of safe harbor, and allow ourselves to enter the open ocean of possibility? In this conversation, we explore:• Why our instinct to “More” ourselves appears in times of uncertainty• The difference between safe harbor and the open ocean of possibility• How spaciousness allows deeper clarity and self-trust to emerge• The role of the body, breath, and nervous system in navigating the unknown• Why meaningful transformation happens one small step at a timeThrough vivid metaphors — from ocean navigation to scuba diving — Danielle and Victoria unpack what it means to move from doing more to being present, and how centering in uncertainty opens the doorway to your next chapter.Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can do…is create space for what wants to unfold.✨ Begin your Next Chapter Clarity Call with Danielle:https://danielleys.com/calendar📝 Subscribe to Victoria’s writing:https://substack.com/@vibrantsoulcoac...📺 Subscribe here for more conversations on navigating uncertainty and life transitions.

018 ~ Consciously Completing Part 1: Why Rest Isn't the Answer to Burnout
What if exhaustion isn't a sign you need more rest — but a sign you need reconnection with something rest can't reach? In Part 1 of the Consciously Completing series, Danielle YS and Victoria McMahon open a four-part exploration of what it means to meet this moment with intention — releasing what's complete, and bringing forward only what's ready for the next chapter. We've been on a collective seven-year retreat. And like any retreat, what matters most isn't the retreat itself — it's what we choose to bring back.Together YSM explores:• Why the exhaustion so many of us are carrying runs deeper than physical depletion — and why rest alone can't reach it• The difference between physical energy and life force energy, and why reconnection (not rest) is the way back to center• The astrological context of this moment: the close of a seven-year cycle of inner gestation and the opening of an eight-year era centered on voice, communication, and expression• What consciously completing with the old way actually looks like — so that when the Universe closes that door, you can be at peace with it, not caught off guard• The distinction between "truth" and "true" — and why knowing what is true for you may be your most essential navigation tool in a world of accelerating AIThe invitation isn't more doing.
