Hello, my name is Ricardo Prates and I’m a Petty Officer 3rd Class. I’ve been in the Portuguese Navy since 1999 and my rate is Machinist’s Mate. Since then, I’ve been on different ships: a Corvette and on two Hydrographic Ships. On board these ships I take care of engines and their auxiliaries equipments.
