El porcentaje de población en riesgo de pobreza o exclusión social en España, según la tasa AROPE, una medida utilizada para medir este factor social en la Unión Europea y que viene del acrónimo en inglés del "At Risk Of Poverty or Exclusion”, es del 20,4%. El de personas residentes en hogares con carencia material y social severa es del 7,7%; y el de población en situación de baja intensidad en el empleo está en el 8,6%. Los tres indicadores han bajado con respecto a 2022.
