We spreken in deze aflevering met Tess Keijzer. Founder van het bedrijf And Heart en expert op het gebied van heart intelligence. Tess helpt vrouwen om vanuit hun hart leiderschap te tonen. We spreken over wat het betekent om vanuit je hart te leven. In je werk en in de liefde. Dat dit niet alleen gaat over zachtheid en compassie, maar ook over moed. De moed om echt jouw pad te bewandelen. Wat heel kwetsbaar voelt. Toen Tess een aantal jaar terug een mountainbike ongeluk kreeg, viel ze letterlijk en figuurlijk op haar hoofd. Ze raakte buiten bewustzijn en verloor momenten haar geheugen. Deze gebeurtenis was voor haar een wake-up call dat ze teveel uit haar hoofd aan het leven was. Dat ze in de ratrace zat en meer vanuit haar hart mag leven. Iedereen heeft wel eens een voorval dat je als het ware met je hoofd tegen de muur loopt en merkt: zo kan het niet verder. Maar hoe dan wel? Tess helpt je in zo'n geval om te verbinden met de kracht van je hart. Om van daaruit keuzes te maken. Het is een aflevering vol persoonlijke onthullingen en interessante feitjes. Zoals het gegeven dat we in ons hart zo’n 40.000 neurale cellen hebben. Die constant signalen sturen naar het brein. Vanuit daar maken we beslissingen. De wetenschap staat nu op het punt dat we kunnen aantonen dat het hart eigenlijk de baas is over het brein. Hoe mooi is dat?!
