While she always sees many opportunities to get involved, she has chosen to focus on issues that affect women and children.Mrs. Korge sat on the planning committee for the early education program for Miami-Dade County which led to the formation of The Children’s Trust and the state’s voluntary Pre-K program as well as on former Mayor Alex Penelas’ Planning Committee on Health Care Access for the Disadvantaged.Deborah D. Korge now provides consulting services to non-profits through her company, South Florida Philanthropic Consulting Services, LLC.
