Joseph cites Philippians 4:4-8 to encourage us to rejoice in the Lord always, urging us not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to present our requests to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. Again, Joseph explains that we can be saved, but our souls can be chaotic if we do not renew our minds in God's word. He urges us to fight evil thoughts with God's word and to meditate on God's word consistently, taking what's done in the spirit and bringing it into the natural.  Joseph clarifies that the body is affected by whatever we think about, and so if we meditate on the goodness of God, we will begin to see it manifest in the natural. He continues to explain that the flesh is a way of thinking that is contrary to God's word, emphasizing the need for us to walk in the Spirit (through constant study of God's word and praying in the Spirit) so that we do not fulfill the lust of the flesh. He urges us to meditate only on what is good and just, as we will give birth to whatever we think of or meditate on. He reminds us that as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he, encouraging us to meditate on healing, breakthrough, and on God's word, and we will see victory.
