James Freis hatte 2020 den vielleicht kuriosesten ersten Arbeitstag bei einem Unternehmen überhaupt. Ausgerechnet wenige Stunden bevor Wirecard zusammenbricht, wird er in den Vorstand berufen. Nur zwei Nächte später wird er sogar zum Nachfolger von Markus Braun als Wirecard-CEO. Er soll retten, was noch zu retten ist, und beschreibt in dieser Folge seine turbulenten Wochen bei Wirecard. Seine Schilderungen lassen auch Markus Braun selbst nicht besonders gut aussehen, der sich ab Februar 2023 im Wirecard-Prozess erstmals öffentlich umfassend zu den Vorfällen äußert. Was sagt er aus?
