Kriska György negyed százada kutatja a kérészek életét és viselkedését. A törékeny, rövid életű rovarok egyik különleges fajának, a dunavirágnak a tömegrajzásai 2012-ben jelentek meg sok év után újra a Dunán, ám egyedei pusztultak is el tömegesen a rajzást követően a tahitótfalui hídnál. A tragédiát látva, a kutatók a kérészek nyomába eredtek, abban bízva, hogy segíteni tudnak rajtuk, ha megismerik az életüket.  A legnagyobb hazai természetfilm fesztiválon, a Nemzetközi Természet- és Környezetvédelmi Fesztiválon idén május 28-án díjazott lett Kriska György és Kriska Ferenc díjnyertes munkája, amelyben a kérészek kirepülésének titkát fejtette meg.
