Edinburgh Man #121

from Edinburgh Man Podcast

I've used that photo before haven't I? Ah well. So another pre-recorded podcast this week. Basically my Thursday night was gearing up to be a night of craziness, so I recorded this early on. In the end it was fortuitous that I did because Edinburgh Man Junior (who normally doesn't make a sound all night) kicked off big style at the normal podcasting hour of 9pm. Eventually he settled down about 40 odd minutes later, but I suspect if the podcast had been live it would have been rather swiftly curtailed. Anyway, in keeping with the last series of daily podcasts back in December and early January I thought I’d make this one all artists that were new to me and the show. It least, that was the plan until I listened to the wonderful new Conquering Animal Sound single. I mean, how could I not play it? It sends shivers up my spine. Oh, and there was a new track from Shy and the Fight, so you know… and then there's the track that's 85 years old. But the rest of the artists are new to me...
