EP 06: Learning to Enjoy Motherhood: Taste and See That the Lord Is Good

from Growing Through Motherhood — Christian Mom Podcast, Faith-Based Parenting, Grace-Filled Motherhood · host Kelsie Shelaine-

Motherhood often feels rushed — moving from one task to the next, hoping the day “counts” when we finally collapse into bed. In a world that sometimes undervalues the work of mothers, it’s easy to live in survival mode and miss the goodness God is placing right in front of us. In this episode, we reflect on Psalm 34:8 — “Taste and see that the Lord is good” and what it looks like to truly experience God’s goodness in motherhood, not just believe it in theory. I share my own journey through the long, overwhelming years of raising littles and the quiet joy of finally arriving in a season where I can breathe, be present, and enjoy my children in new ways. This episode is an encouragement to slow down, stay faithful, and trust that if God called you to this season, He will see you through it. Sometimes, tasting His goodness means choosing presence over productivity — and discovering that His ways are always better than our own. Curious about what’s helped me feel calmer, more focused, and more present in motherhood? Bioactive Precision Peptides have been a quiet but powerful support in my day-to-day life.
