Ep.87 Sapporo Su & Tokyo Joe in Hokkaido

In this episode Marty, Fuzanne and Joe talk about all kinds of things about Sapporo, Hokkaido and their first trip to Japan. It was amazing to hear how well they handled the Tokyo subway system and how impressed they were with the scale of the city. And up here in Hokkaido we did all kinds of cool sightseeing. We saw the Okurayama Ski Jump hill, the Olympic Museum, Hokkaido Shrine, Maruyama Park, Odori Park, the Odori TV Tower, Sapporo Station, Tanuki Koji and Susukino...and that was all on day one! Over the weekend we also got to go and see Lake Toya, Showa Shinzan, Noboribetsu's Hell Valley, the boiling lake Ooyunuma. We also went to see the Nikka Whisky Distillery in Yoichi and had a day in Otaru. All the while we had some absolutely delicious food. Sushi, Barnes' ice cream, jingisukan at the Sapporo Beer Garden, locally harvested venison, king crab, Hot Chef chicken.....oh man I had better get back out there on my bike to burn all this off!! We can't thank Suzanne and Joe enough for coming to visit us. That was a fantastic visit.
