Episode 116 is the 62nd episode of Season 2. We're joined today by Shahbaaz Kara-Virani, Principal of SKVentures and Host/Moderator of the Business of Cannabis. Shahbaaz has a diverse background in marketing and sales. Climbing the ranks at Salesforce, he made it into the President's Club where he was recognized as part of the top 10% of individual contributors at the company. Always seeking his next challenge and having a passion for the plant already, he moved into cannabis and lead the sales teams for Lift and Co and Dutchie before starting SK Ventures. Since then, he has worked for several cannabis businesses including Kind Media and Pavilion. He co-founded the New York Cannabis Collective and CannAcquire. He continues to work for different projects in the industry applying his sales and marketing expertise. Throughout the last year, he has been the host of the Business of Cannabis show where he moderates discussions with leaders in emerging cannabis markets worldwide.
