It's December — the season of lights, cozy nights, and a little extra magic in the air. Everywhere we turn, there's talk of wonder — the kind that makes our hearts swell when we picture baby Jesus wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in that manger under the glow of a shining star. It's a beautiful image, isn't it? Peaceful. Holy. Still. But let's be honest — the beauty of that moment didn't come easy. Mary wasn't sitting in a quiet nursery with a rocking chair and a sound machine. She was a young girl, far from home, giving birth to the Savior of the world… in a barn surrounded by animals.

And moms — life is full of the unexpected, isn't it? And those unexpected moments can leave us worried or just plain tired. But here's the hope: Mary shows us another way, the better way. Instead of giving into worry, she leaned into expectant wonder — trusting that even in the mess God was doing something miraculous.

Let's talk about Expectant Wonder.
