Genesis chapter 1 is the perfect model for preparing readers of the Bible with how they should expect the Bible to speak: In creative, engaging, and often unexpected ways that communicates much with few words. This episode explains the dual literary style of Genesis chapter 1 and how both the narrative design and poetic design lead us to learning about God, humanity, and our relationship to Him.
