Jesus on the Radio: Podsafe Music - Oct. 23, 2005

from jesusradio's Podcast

SarahKat is back! The show gets much more interesting this week. We introduce a contest, formally present our new listener comment line (206-339-JOTR), and play some frickin' awesome music. Only one problem. As I surmised last week, the right channel is, in fact, completely missing. It's nowhere to be found. Instead, we have a copy of the left channel wearing a deceptive right-channel suit. Don't be fooled-it's not the real deal. I'll look into the problem. In the mean time, the upshot is that until we get it fixed, the show will be in mono, and for this show some songs are missing bits. It should sound fairly normal, but the mashup is sadly missing some cool loops that play mainly on the right. Oh, well. Peter (PS, Please do give us a call on our comment line (206-339-JOTR). We want this communication this to be a two-way street!) :) Show notes: What time is it? We really need a theme song. We do what we can. Peter is flustered. Peter brings up a story he never gets around to. SarahKat gives us the skinny on the show. Podsafe: Matthew Ebel - Sally Went Down [PMN] We really want to hear from you! Let us know you're listening by dropping us a line at [email protected]. Even better, call us at (206) 339-JOTR and leave a message. Contest: Name This Game! SarahKat still hasn't heard last week's show. She has lazy issues. And guilt issues. And grandma issues. Podsafe: Griddle - Fairest of Them All [PMN] Some grandmas are just crazy. Mashup: Pilchard - The Doors take a walk down Sesame Street (via Mashuptown Radio) The Podsafe Music Network rocks! (It's where all our podsafe music comes from.) Technical difficulties. You don't want to hear this. You do want to hear this: Podsafe: Away With The Fairys - Space Rocks Keep Falling On My Head [PMN] Peter makes it sound like he doesn't like the song. He does. SarahKat does too. Jesus on the Radio goes into overtime. Podsafe: Shagg - Buh Ba Ba Ba [PMN] Strong Bad would hate that song. We love it. SarahKat is a bad daughter. (No wonder she has guilt issues.) We gotta go!
