🇺🇸 One place to visit at least once in a lifetime. Memorial Day is to remember honor the heroes. 81 When I visited this special place, it left a lasting impact on me. I believe that Arlington National Cemetery is the place everyone who cares about the sacrifice of life made by so many known and unknown souls, in the service of this country, should visit at least once. My grandfather fought in World War II, on the European Front, for the entire length of the war, and came back alive. Shortly after, he passed away of lung disease, from the aftermath. He was a decorated hero. Many of his fellow soldiers died in combat.
