Punto Noticias.- Gracias a la gestión desarrollada entre el Gobierno de la Provincia de Pichincha y el Gobierno de la parroquia de San José de Minas, se logró definir los límites de la parroquia gracias a la firma de una resolución del ex presidente Rafael Correa, antes de su salida del Gobierno. Los problemas limítrofes eran de la parroquia con la provincia hermana de Imbabura, así lo informó Pablo Cobos, presidente del Gad Parroquial. Cobos solicitó a las entidades competentes a que le apoyen en el trabajo que tienen que realizar por las poblaciones que antes no tenían límites y que ahora pertenecen a San José de Minas.
