Benvinguts a Jazz Club de Nit avui amb un programa dedicat a tres projectes personals de músics de casa nostra, i sí, músics de casa nostra són els que han estudiat aquí, els que han fet projectes aquí o amb gent d’aquí, com són el de l’Emilio Martín, contrabaixista canari establert a casa nostra i el, seu primer projecte personal anomenat “Achined”, o sigui Tenerife en la llengua dels primers pobladors de les illes. També és un projecte com de casa el del gran saxofonista Ernesto Aurignac Trio “Plays Standards Vol.1”, amb la base rítmica de casa nostra. I per descomptat, el projecte de Sergi Sirvent Quartet dedicat a la música de Thelonious Monk “Monk Numbers”. Us voldria comentar que a partir d’avui encetarem un nou espai, un micro espai, dins el programa i que serà la inclusió d’un micro conte sobre músics, música o estils del jazz. Coses de la vida, en un magnífic concert al Jamboree, el del Peter Bernstein Quartet em vaig trobar un bon amic, Pep Cardona, que fa el programa Paraula de Jazz a Tarragona Ràdio. Al Jamboree mateix, en Pep em va presentar a Carme de la Fuente i el seu company Artur. Carme em va explicar que feia micro contes en el programa del Pep i vam estar xerrant una estona explicant-li jo les meves activitats. Posteriorment vam contactar pel Facebook i em va proposar de fer algun micro conte per aquest programa i jo que els havia convidat a venir al concert de divendres, i ells que fins i tot van venir al concert del divendres a veure Xavier Casellas Quartet on van gaudir moltíssim, com tots nosaltres. Doncs això, que ja us he presentat Carme de la Fuente i avui la podrem escoltar en un micro conte sobre el projecte de l’Emilio Martín.
