Reaching LatAm Entertainment Media

from Media Coffee Podcast · host Cision

In this episode of Media Coffee, host Sami Saad is joined by Alida Hernandez, Editor-in-Chief of Spanglish Entertainment LLC. We cover Latin American entertainment outlets looking to highlight culture, connection, and community impact, the importance of featuring emerging artists and entertainers with authentic stories, the need for a short English Summary with Spanish pitches, and the need for a quick follow-up. Alida Hernandez is a first-generation American journalist and media entrepreneur, and Editor-in-Chief of Spanglish Entertainment LLC, a media company she founded in 2024, covering Brevard to Miami-Dade County, Florida. Born in New York City to Puerto Rican musicians, she began her career in IT with roles at CBS, Disney, and Harris Corporation before shifting to media. She founded Alida Promo in 2012 and Nuestro Magazine in 2013, interviewing notable figures such as Emilio Estefan and Phil Collins, and appeared on major Spanish-language TV networks. She also manages a Salsa orchestra, supports women in music, and hosts the podcast Rebooted Mindset.
