Historically, "Come out of her, my people" is used as a mantra to set our fellowship apart from apostate religion. God's people are not to be "partakers of {Babylon's} sins so that we do not receive her plagues." (Revelation 18:4) Yet COVID-19 did not discriminate between the godly and the ungodly. Everyone was judged. Undoubtedly, we have misinterpreted the scripture and used it to pass judgment on other denominations. Someone will surely complain, "But our ancestors taught us that." Sometimes, we must re-evaluate concepts our ancestors taught us in a more excellent light! For many years Brother Singh was ridiculed for preaching against the "spirit of the age." Yet, the spirit of the age, "the world," and "Babylon" are one. We all carry traces of a "love for the world" in our fallen nature. Coming out of her is a continual detoxification process.
