Mike chats with Co-Founder Lauren Lockey. Sage Mountain is celebrating its 4th annual Plant-Based Palooza on August 24th. It's an evening of live music and catered food in the presence of rescued farm animals! Plus, there will be a silent auction for portraits of our rescued animal residents, products, gift cards, and services from many local businesses and artists. This year, their goal is to raise $50,000, to help construct a much-needed barn. Sage Mountain is a 501(c3) non-profit organization that provides a sanctuary for farmed animals and advocates for their well-being. These animals include pigs, cows, chickens, goats, and sheep. Located 10 miles from Park City, UT, they offer guided tours of the sanctuary, and yoga, and invite volunteers to participate during our weekly group volunteer day on Saturdays.
