It is a song about Ruth’s heartcry, "a Woman after YHVH heart" and how she was grafted in to the Commonwealth of Israel, when she should have been excluded based on her lineage being a Moabitess [Permanent Ban from the Assembly of Israel -See Deut 23:3-4, Neh. 13:1-3], Nevertheless YHVH shows grace to a 1,000 generations to those that Love HIM and keep His commandments [Exo. 20:6 in the 10 commandments/words]. Ruth is maternally related to another person after YHVH heart by just 5 generations – the Psalmist/Shepherd/King David. The Prophet Isaiah, shares about this redemption or being grafted into the People of Israel (aka “salvation” or deliverance) for the gentiles [Isa. 56:8, Hoesa 1-2, Rom. 11], even for the "foreigner" or in Hebrew “son of the idol worshiper” 56:3, that bind themselves [enters into and follow the requirements of the covenants (plural) of promise [Eph 2, Acts 10:34-35;11:18, Acts 15] to YHVH, AND Love HIS name, and worship and serve HIM, and does not desecrate HIS Sabbath, and keep HIS commands. Isa. 56:6; i.e 56:1-8, this portion of Isaiah even talks about the inclusion of those that were also to be excluded; eunuchs inclusion Isa. 56:4-5, exclusion- Deut. 23:1-3 – it was permissible for those with the right hearts. Eze. 47:22 States the "ger" or "aliens" [different than "foreigner"  Heb."
