كتب اتحاد العاصمة الجزائري اسمه بين كبار قارة أفريقيا عندما حصد بطولة كأس الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم، للمرة الأولى في تاريخه، بعدما فاز على يانغ أفريكانز التنزاني بمجموع مبارتي الذهاب والإياب.مبارة الذهاب شهدت تفوق أبناء الجزائر بهدفين لهدف، ليعود بين أرضه وجماهيره ويخسر بهدف وحيد، لم يسعف الفريق الضيف، ليتوج فريق "سوسطارة" بالكونفدرالية.ملعب "5 جويلية" استقبل آلاف الجماهير العاشقة لأصحاب الرداء الأحمر والأسود، وكانت ليلة الثالث من يونيو سعيدة على مساندي الفريق، بعد أن زاد زيّن الاتحاد قميصه بنجمة أفريقية هي العاشرة للأندية الجزائرية في بطولات القارة. وهو اللقب الأول للفريق العاصمي في ثاني نهائي يخوضه في تاريخه بعد الأول في دوري الأبطال 2015 حين حل وصيفا لمازيمبي الكونغولي. من الجزائر.. محمد بن شبير، الناقد الرياضيمن القاهرة.. ماهر غريب، الناقد الرياضيإعداد وتقديم: عبدالله حميد
