The Cyclonic Weather Bomb

My run for the bus. 🚌 (appologies for the wind noise, the new wind sock was not very effective today!)I started my morning with a plan for a long run before catching the bus to work, enjoying the fresh energy from my coffee and apple pie breakfast. The weather had been turbulent the night before, with cyclonic winds and relentless rain, but the morning turned out to be surprisingly pleasant. During the run, I picked up a sturdy fallen branch for firewood, admired the sunrise over San Juan Island, and spotted some deer crossing the road. I reflected on the challenges of biking in rain and icy conditions while noting my comfort zone for heart rate as a 73-year-old runner. By the end of the run, I reached the bus stop with 3.31 km logged and waited for the 26th bus to take me to work.
