Tiago Nacarato nasceu e cresceu no Porto, mas podemos talvez dizer que encontra as suas principais raízes musicais no Brasil. Filho de pais brasileiros, sendo o pai músico, desde cedo escutou os ritmos daquele país e também quis aprender a tocar e cantar precocemente. Teve aulas de canto, guitarra, treino auditivo, teoria musical e combo a partir dos 18 anos, quando se inscreveu na escola de música Valentim de Carvalho. Anos depois, reencontrou as raízes brasileiras na Orquestra Orquestra Bamba Social como vocalista, projeto que juntou músicos luso-brasileiros residentes no Porto. Foi a passagem por um programa de televisão da RTP dedicado a descobrir novos talentos na música, que lhe trouxe projeção nacional. Depois do The Voice, dedicou-se então a apresentar em palco o seu trabalho a solo, e passou por espaços como o Centro Cultural de Belém, a Casa da Música, ou o Convento São Francisco, em Portugal. Também já cantou e esgotou salas no Brasil, em cidades como São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza ou Belo Horizonte, país onde se estreou em 2018. Em 2019 apresentou-se com um álbum de estreia chamado “Lugar-Comum”. Uma das canções desse disco, “A Dança”, foi nomeada para um Globo de Ouro na categoria de Melhor Música, em 2019. Está a preparar o segundo disco.
