So, how does one get trust? Speak truth and you will be trusted. Truthfulness wins. It creates and restores trust. Say what you do and do what you say ...Trust is restored in confession, say, of a lie, and in subsequent forgiveness sought. Only the truth makes free. This restored trust is stronger because it has become wise, it has come through the break. Children have an innocent trust. How does our perception of what truth is, compare with what God calls truth? The fundamental distinction of a believer, is that they shall believe the truth, and be true. Deceptiveness reveals a heart that distrusts God. There is a fear that is greater than God, for Christ has said the "..ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free."
