Upon experiencing her fifth concussion, Sister Briggs had to make the difficult decision of leaving her initial mission assignment in Singapore in order to transfer to a service mission. This confusion and uncertain period in her life left her with many questions and feeling desperate for guidance. Upon transferring to her current service mission, something she never would have imagined herself doing, Sister Briggs has learned much about how the Lord strengthens and helps us in times where our resilience is tested. She received her Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School and her Bachelor’s degree from The Curtis Institute of Music. This past weekend, about 4,000 young service missionaries around the world were captivated by a particular message in the October 2025 Sunday morning session of General Conference. Gavin Waits is a former service missionary for the Ohio Columbus Mission. He has played a key role in pioneering the integration of service and proselyting missions in the North America Northeast Area. Noah Christensen and Elder Brazier met each other upon coming across each other’s Facebook profiles and instantly realized they both looked very much like each other. Determined to learn more about Noah, Elder Brazier called him and learned that not only was he a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but also a returned service missionary! They quickly became good friends and planned to have Noah appear on this podcast.
