How to preserve Divinity in Everything - Prabhata Rashmih | Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

The entire world, including the body and senses, is produced by the presence within. This presence is what we consider divine, supra-worldly. Carrying such a presence within, can we feel anything other than being a divine person? Can we miss the divinity within, anytime? Poojya Swamiji explains. PR 03 Feb 2013

Self Knowledge - Prabhata Rashmih | Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

Swamiji says how this self-realization works and brings about fruition and fulfillment is something we should know. When the mind recedes from desires, the craving for sensory enjoyment drops, the senses are brought under control, the knowledge comes that the Self within can produce all the enjoyment. Such people attain the supreme knowledge of the Self. PR 08 May 2018

The Purpose Of Life Is To Gain True Knowledge - Prabhata Rashmih | Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

Knowledge is supreme in human life, Poojya Swamiji explains. This knowledge is of two kinds – the inferior and the superior. The superior knowledge, the subject knowledge, is about our real identity. Pursuing the attainment of that knowledge is the purpose of the human life. PR 17 Jan 2017

Find Joy by Knowing Your True Inner Nature - Prabhata Rashmih | Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

Poojya Swamiji tells us that the knowledge that we gain must act and function in a manner that it removes the stains in our personality. We have to identify with the knowledge. It should become a functional practice, and our Supreme refuge. That is the way of sadhana towards eternal peace. तद्बुद्धयस्तदात्मानस्तन्निष्ठास्तत्परायणा: । गच्छन्त्यपुनरावृत्तिं ज्ञाननिर्धूतकल्मषा: ॥ tad-buddhayas-tad-ātmānas-tan-niṣṭhās-tat-parāyaṇā: gacchanty-apunarāvṛttiṃ jñāna-nirdhūta-kalmaṣā: – Bhagavad Gita 5.17 PR 03 Oct 2007

The Path of Knowledge-austerity - Prabhatha Rashmih | Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

In jñāna niṣṭa, our focus is sublimating, overcoming, outliving, transcending rāga dvesha bhaya. Every word that one utters will be with a view to overcome and sublimate these. Every book one reads will be for this purpose. The tapas becomes jñāna tapas when the ingredients of tapas, austerity are mind and intelligence. PR 03 Mar 2018

The Need for Dispassion and Yearning for liberation - Prabhatha Rashmih | Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

In spirituality, what matters are dispassion and yearning for liberation. Even if one does not have dispassion, practice of introspection will bring it. When one understands that the whole world is fleeting and ephemeral, how can there be attraction towards it? The focus naturally lands on the substratum behind all the changes, and the yearning to know it grows. Slokas chanted in the track: (Bhagavad Gita 9.2) PR 03 May 2017

Renunciation is of the Mind - Prabhatha Rashmih | Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

Bhagavad Gita speaks about Renunciation. Tyaga and Sannyasa are the main two subjects of the Bhagavad Gita. The questions thus arises as to how to accomplish this Tyaga and Sannyasa? How does it reflect in our Interactions? Can Interactional Sadhana accomplish it? The entire world is designed by God, preserved by God. We play no part in it. But we still feel a sense of doership and enjoyership. A seeker must completely abandon the feeling of doership, enjoyership and sufferership. When all the activities performed are renounced attitudinally by the mind, it becomes the yoga for the buddhi. A seeker must introspect about God who has created and preserved everything and wholesomely surrender to the Lord. Sri Krishna says: “Mentally renouncing all actions to Me (the Supreme), regarding Me as the Supreme, let your mind, resorting to Buddhi Yoga (anchoring the intelligence in the Inmost Reality), abide constantly in Me.” Shlokas chanted in the Track: चेतसा सर्वकर्माणि मयि संन्यस्य मत्परः । बुद्धियोगमुपाश्रित्य मच्चित्तः सततं भव ॥ Bhagavad Gita 18.57 PR 23 Aug 2018

Solution lies within - Prabhatha Rashmih | Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

In this track, Poojya Swamiji speaks on how a seeker should approach every challenge in life. One has to elevate oneself from emotional turbulence to rational enquiry–from the mind level to the intelligence level. For every problem, there is a solution right beneath the problem in the inner recess of the mind itself. If there is a problem, there is also a solution. If there is no solution, at least there is a dissolution of the problem. The whole process revolves around our own inner personality. Shlokas chanted in this track: कस्मिन्नु भगवो विज्ञाते सर्वमिदं विज्ञातं भवतीति ॥ kasminnu bhagavo vijñāte sarvamidaṃ vijñātaṃ bhavatīti || Mundakopanishad–1.1.3
