Jesus Breathes His Spirit into Us
The Focus: We Are Empowered Scripture: John 20:21–22As our “Risen Indeed” journey continues, we witness a sacred moment: Jesus breathes on His disciples and says, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” What began in fear now shifts to bold commissioning. This is more than just comfort—it’s a call to go, equipped with divine power.Jesus doesn’t send us in our own strength. He fills us with His Spirit—God’s empowering presence—so we can bring His hope, forgiveness, and love into the world. Even when we feel weak or unqualified, He offers all we need. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in us, fueling courage, compassion, and creativity for every mission He gives.Let’s open ourselves to the Spirit’s empowering breath this week. May we step into new opportunities, confident that God goes before us and works through us.Let’s pray,Risen Jesus, breathe your spirit into my life. May you again fill, refresh, and revive me. Pour out upon me the wine of Your life and the river of living water, renewing my soul. Anoint me with the oil of gladness and the fire of the Holy Ghost, igniting passion and boldness within. Let the roar of the Lion awaken courage, and the love of the Lamb bring restoration and reconciliation. May Your Spirit’s outpouring empower me to serve, witness, and love others. Use my life for Your glory, and let me overflow with Your presence every day. Amen.

Jesus Desires to Strengthen Our Faith
The Focus: Honest Questions, Deeper FaithScripture: John 20:24–29This week in our “Risen Indeed” journey, we stand with Thomas, who longs for certainty in the midst of doubt. He wants proof that Jesus is alive, and the risen Christ meets him right where he is. Jesus invites Thomas to touch His wounds, offering gentle assurance instead of rebuke. In that encounter, doubt becomes faith, and questions lead to a powerful confession: “My Lord and my God!”We all face moments of uncertainty—times when faith doesn’t come easily. Jesus welcomes our honest questions and meets us in the struggle, never turning us away. He turns our doubts into deeper trust, inviting us to experience His real, living presence.Let us pray:Risen Lord, thank You for meeting me in my doubts and questions, just as You sought out Thomas without condemnation. When I struggle to believe, show me Your kindness and patience. Walk through every wall in my life—fear, confusion, or disappointment—so I can see You and experience Your love firsthand. Strengthen my faith and help me trust You, even when I cannot see. Use my honest questions to draw me closer, turning uncertainty into deeper faith, and unlimited worship. Thank You for never shaming Thomas or me for doubting, but inviting us to encounter You, restoring us in faith, hope, and love. Amen.

Inspiration with a Prayer: From Stone to Tender: Mother’s Salvation and a Family Prayer
Hello Friend,We are so honored to partner with you in prayer for such a time as this. With Mother’s Day approaching, my heart is full as I reflect on my own mom, who passed away just a few days ago. I want to share a testimony—after years of prayer, my mom came to Jesus in the final phase of her life. Her heart, once so hard, became soft and tender, and the joy and peace she experienced was undeniable. I witnessed firsthand how God can reach even the most resistant hearts and bring total transformation. Let us pray:Father, we come to you with expectant hearts, trusting your promise in Acts 16:31, which says believe in the Lord, Jesus Christ, and you and your household, you and your extended household, shall be saved, healed, and delivered. We lift up every member of our extended families—siblings, children, grandchildren, cousins, nephews, parents, aunts, and uncles. Lord, no heart is too hard for you. We ask that you draw each one to Jesus, breaking down barriers and softening hearts. Let your love flood our families, bringing salvation, healing, and deliverance to every generation. Help us not grow weary in praying and believing, for in due season we will reap a harvest (Galatians 6:9). Bring home the prodigals. Restore relationships. Fill our homes with your presence and peace. We pray a special blessing of health and healing, peace and hope, honor and joy upon all the mothers in our families, especially this Sunday on Mother’s Day. We declare, as for us and our households, we will serve the Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Jesus Calls Us By Name
Week 4: Jesus Calls Us by NameThe Power of Personal EncounterScripture: John 20:14–16This week in our “Risen Indeed” journey, we find Mary Magdalene outside the empty tomb, lost in her grief and confusion. She doesn’t recognize Jesus—until He gently calls her by name. In a moment, sorrow turns to joy, and despair is transformed by His personal love. The risen Jesus sees us, knows us, and calls us each by name, even when we feel unseen or misunderstood. His presence brings comfort, assurance, and a sense of belonging. How often do we miss His voice in our pain or busyness? Jesus is always near, whispering hope and life into our hearts. Let’s listen for His voice, confident that He knows our story and meets us exactly where we are.Let us pray:Risen Jesus, thank You for calling me by name, just as You called Mary outside the tomb. Whether I am male or female, young or old, full of confidence or full of questions, Your voice reaches me. When I feel invisible, uncertain, or overwhelmed, remind me that I am never forgotten or alone. Speak my name in the quiet moments and in the noise of my days. Let Your presence turn sorrow to joy and doubt to belonging. Help me respond to Your love, and follow where You lead, trusting that You know me completely. Amen.

Rekindling Faith in the Workplace
Today’s theme is Rekindling Faith in the Workplace. May we, too, encounter His refreshing and renewing presence in our work today.Let us pray:Risen Lord, we step into our workplaces this day. Where hope has faded, rekindle our faith. Where fear lingers, breathe new courage. Unite us in Your steadfast love as we build and work together. Throughout this sacred season from Easter to Pentecost, keep our hearts open to Your presence. Transform every task and relationship by Your power.God of hope, fill us with joy and peace as we trust in You. Knit our workplaces together in unity, strengthen our hearts, and guide us forward in love and courage, today and always. Amen.

Jesus Restores Hope to the Disappointed
Jesus Restores HopeThe Focus: Hope Rekindled After DisappointmentScripture: John 21:3–7, 12As we continue our “Risen Indeed” journey, we find the disciples returning to what they knew—fishing—after the resurrection. Their hopes felt dashed, dreams uncertain. All night, they caught nothing, weighed down by disappointment. But at dawn, a voice from the shore calls out, guiding them to cast their nets again. Suddenly, their emptiness turns to abundance, and they recognize Jesus waiting with breakfast prepared. How often do we retreat to old routines when hope feels lost? Jesus meets us there—not with rebuke, but with kindness. He turns our emptiness into overflowing grace. He speaks hope into places of disappointment, inviting us to try again, to trust that He is not finished with us yet. The risen Christ restores and commissions us, even when we feel unworthy or weary.Let us pray:Risen Lord, thank You for finding me when I’m disappointed, and for calling out to me with gentle encouragement, just as You did to the apostles by the sea. When I’m tired or discouraged, help me remember You are close and always ready to guide me forward. Renew my hope when I want to give up. Remind me that Your love brings new possibilities, even after a season of emptiness. Draw me again to you, and fill my heart with fresh purpose, trust, and gratitude for you. Amen.

Evidence of Redemption at Work
Our prayer theme today is seeing Jesus in the everyday, inspired by John 20:20: “Jesus showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.”Let us pray:Risen Lord, as we journey from Easter to Pentecost, we invite Your presence into our daily work. Fill every task, conversation, and challenge with Your hope, peace, and joy. Transform our workplaces by Your resurrection power, that Your light may shine through all we do. Jesus, reveal your redemptive power in our daily tasks; let us see your victory in our challenges and rejoice in your presence among us.Now I pray this blessing over you:May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in the knowledge and love of God, and of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. May the Lord bless you and keep you; May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace, In your coming and in your going, now and forevermore. Amen.

Jesus Opens Our Eyes to Recognize Him
The Focus: Recognizing the Risen ChristScripture: Luke 24:30–32This week in our “Risen Indeed” journey, we step onto the road to Emmaus, walking with the disciples blinded by confusion and sorrow. They didn’t recognize Jesus beside them until He broke bread at their table—and suddenly, their eyes were opened. How often do we miss His presence, tangled in our own routines, doubts, or disappointments? Yet Jesus is risen indeed, alive and present, longing to reveal Himself in the ordinary and the everyday. He meets us on the road, in our questions and struggles. He’s not far off, but walking right beside us—patient, gentle, waiting for the moment our hearts are ready to see. This week, let’s slow down. Let’s ask Jesus to open our eyes, to recognize His nearness in the signs in nature of a new season and in the kindness of others. The risen Lord is with us—may our hearts burn within us as we realize it.Let us pray:Risen Jesus, just as You opened the eyes of the disciples at Emmaus, open my eyes to see Your presence today. Break bread with me in the ordinary moments, and stir my heart with wonder at the signs of Your goodness around me. When I am slow to believe or distracted by sorrow, awaken me to the miracles of Your love and the nearness of Your Spirit. Let my heart burn within me as I recognize Your hand at work in my life. Fill me with hope, awe, and gratitude for all You have done, and help me share Your wonder with others. Amen.

Jesus Brings Peace when Facing Fear and Grief
Our Focus today: Peace in the Midst of UncertaintyScripture: John 20:19–21For the next seven Wednesdays, we’ll journey together toward Pentecost—the outpouring of the Spirit and the birth of the New Testament church. In this bright new season, our focus is on the risen Jesus and His visits with His friends. Each story is a window into the hope He offers us still.Today, we step into that upper room after the resurrection. The disciples are hiding, hearts weighed down by fear and grief, their dreams shattered. Maybe you know that feeling—doors locked by anxiety, spirit heavy with uncertainty. Yet Jesus appears, not to scold, but to comfort. His first words then are His words to you now: “Peace be with you.”You don’t have to fix yourself or overcome your fear. Jesus comes to you exactly where you are. His peace isn’t earned; it’s a gift. He steps through every barrier—grief, doubt, worry—and fills our hearts with hope and a promise of His presence. This week, let those words settle deep within. No matter how thick the walls or heavy the sorrow, the risen Christ brings comfort to mourners, beauty for ashes, and praise for despair. Receive His peace, restoration, and joy.Let us pray:Redeeming Jesus, thank You for breaking through every wall of fear, grief, shame, and regret in my life. Fill my heart with Your hope, peace, and joy. Lift condemnation from my soul and set me free by Your love. Let Your presence heal every wound and restore what was lost. I trust You to cover my past, transform my present, and lead me with confidence into the future. My Redeemer lives. Amen.

Lenten Prayer 7: Entering the Mystery: From Suffering to Hope
Holy God, as we reach this final Wednesday of Lent, we pause before the mystery of Holy Week. We remember that before resurrection comes suffering, and before the dawn there is darkness. Like the disciples, we carry questions, sorrow, and confusion—uncertain of what comes next. You invite us to bring our pain, our doubts, and our silence honestly before you, trusting that you meet us even in the shadows.Jesus, help us to sit with you in the garden, to not run from the weight of grief or the unknown. Remind us that faith does not mean skipping over suffering, but learning to trust you in the midst of it. As we walk through the pain and silence of Holy Thursday, the agony of Good Friday, and the emptiness of Silent Saturday, let us know that you are present—working in ways we cannot see.Give us the courage to name our hurts and hopes to you. Shape us through the mystery, and prepare us for the promise of resurrection. May our hearts be open to the depth of your love, which redeems even our darkest nights. We wait, we trust, and we hope. Amen.Challenge: This week, allow yourself to sit honestly with your questions, grief, or confusion—write them down, pray them, and trust Christ to meet you there. Resist the urge to rush ahead; embrace the mystery and let hope quietly take root in the waiting.Let’s Go, My Friend—From Darkness to Dawn to Delight, Together in Christ. Amen.
