Welcome back to the 12 Eleven Podcast. I’m here today with Bob Lane, and I’m honored to give him the space to share his story—what it truly looks like to build your life on a firm foundation. From the example set by his parents and grandparents, to the mentors and coaches who shaped him into the athlete and the man he is today, Bob’s life reflects the impact of steady, faithful guidance. He’s walked through the trials and triumphs of college football and the NFL, and now walks as a father who pours into his son, and as a husband who loves his wife as Christ loves the Church. Ep. 46: Cole Sullivan "Picking Up My Doubts and Following Jesus"
Welcome back to the 12 Eleven podcast. Today, I have the privilege of sitting down with Cole Sullivan, whose story is nothing short of miraculous.Cole was a lost child—one who ran, deeply wounded by his parents’ divorce. For 12 years, he tried to numb the pain, turning to drugs, alcohol, and anything that might make him feel different. His struggle with addiction finally led him to an Addiction Rehabilitation facility, but even then, doubts about God and Jesus consumed him, pushing him to search for answers. At the same time, a broken relationship with his father only added to his confusion and pain. But through it all, God never stopped chasing him. In Cole’s lowest moments, when he had nothing left—no answers, no control—he found one thing still within his grasp: willingness. Willingness to be sober. Willingness to change. Willingness to seek truth. And in February 2023, that willingness led him straight into the arms of Jesus Christ. He still had doubts just like the Disciples did, except this time Cole picked up his doubts and started to follow Jesus. Not only did he find salvation, but God also has since restored his relationship with his earthly father, proving that nothing is beyond redemption.Cole’s story is one of relentless pursuit—God’s pursuit of a son who was running, and a son who finally stopped and turned back home. I promise, this conversation will encourage and challenge you in ways you won’t expect. So let’s dive in.

Ep. 45 - Greg Manley Jr. - "The Powerful Effects of Being Obedient"
Welcome back to the 12 Eleven podcast! Today, I’m joined by Greg Manley Jr., and we’re diving into his powerful journey with Jesus. Greg surrendered his life to Christ as a young boy, but without discipleship, he struggled to live a life truly worthy of the gospel. His story is one that many Christians will find deeply relatable, one of coming to Christ at an early age without instructions and discipleship on how to live that life out. At the heart of Greg’s journey is the power of obedience—how God placed him in situations where stepping out in faith didn’t always make sense, yet the results were nothing short of amazing. As you listen, you’ll hear how obedience shaped his walk with Christ in ways he never expected. And whatever you do, don’t miss the ending. It’s not exactly in chronological order, but it was a pivotal moment of obedience that I believe many need to hear, it will leave you encouraged and inspired. I can’t wait for you to hear his story. Let’s dive in!

Ep. 44: Shelly Hamilton "From Darkness to Light"
Welcome back to the 12 Eleven podcast! Today, I’m joined by Shelly Hamilton, who shares her powerful story of moving from darkness to light. At a young age, Shelly faced the heartbreaking loss of her sister Angel in a tragic car accident. This deep pain, fueled by anger, led her into years of darkness, regret, and a dangerous belief that she was beyond saving. But God met Shelly right in her darkest moment—on a bathroom floor—and broke the chains of shame that had consumed her. That day, Shelly surrendered her life to Jesus and stepped into her true identity as a child of God. Inspired by the story of the woman at the well in John 4, Shelly reminds us that “change begins when you give your shame a place to go—nailing it to the cross—and embrace the love of Jesus.” I’m so excited for you to hear Shelly’s testimony of redemption and freedom. My prayer is that her story encourages you to know that your shame, too, has a place to go so you can walk in the freedom that only Jesus can bring.

Ep. 42: Jamie Halley "Finding Freedom In Christ"
Welcome back to the 12 Eleven Podcast! Today, I’m honored to have Jamie Halley with us, sharing a story of transformation, freedom, and purpose. For years, Jamie lived with the weight of loneliness and anxiety, even while outwardly achieving success as a rodeo athlete, homecoming queen, and valedictorian. Despite these achievements, she often wondered, Why am I the only one who feels this way? Jamie opens up about navigating her father’s struggles with addiction, which eventually led her to a place of desperation, recognizing her need for Jesus. While she surrendered her life to Him, a lack of discipleship left her feeling unanchored, slipping back into old habits. This journey included a secret relationship while engaged—an experience that weighed her down with guilt and shame. But today, Jamie speaks from a place of freedom, declaring there are no more secrets. Christ has brought healing and honesty into her life, especially in her marriage and relationships, freeing her from the burdens she once carried. Now, Jamie channels this freedom into her work, where she ministers to pregnant women who often times are contemplating abortion. Her gentle, soft-spoken nature becomes a powerful gift, as she reaches out to women facing life-changing decisions, offering them compassion and hope. I can’t wait for you to listen in on this inspiring conversation with Jamie Halley, where we explore the journey from loneliness to purpose, from secrecy to freedom in Christ.

But, even as he walked away, God never stopped pursuing him. Decades later, Richard found himself surrendering to Jesus, stepping into a newfound freedom and discovering what it truly means to be fully known and accepted by the one true King. EP. 21: Gary Witherall...Forgiving the Unforgivable
Join me today as we sit down with Gary Witherall. Gary’s journey is an extraordinary testament to the power of having your life being built on the Rock of Jesus Christ and also the transformative force of forgiveness. A pivotal moment in Gary's life occurred during his mission work in Lebanon with his first wife, Bonnie. Tragically, a terrorist walked into the medical clinic where Bonnie was tending to pregnant women and executed her. The unimaginable grief and shock could have led Gary down a path of anger and hatred, but he faced a choice at that very moment—a choice between sowing seeds of bitterness or cultivating seeds of forgiveness and love. Gary's decision to choose forgiveness amidst the bloodshed and loss is a testament to the depth of a loving God who never leaves us or forsakes us. The metaphorical imagery of seeing his wife's blood on the clinic floor became a profound realization of the forgiveness he had received through the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ. In that agonizing moment, Gary opted for forgiveness, allowing him to embark on a journey of lament—a process of mourning with a foundation of hope. The narrative is not just a recounting of tragedy; it is a powerful reflection on the human capacity to rise above profound suffering through faith. Ep. 19: Part 1 From Death to Life w/Thomas Reeves, Taylor Reeves, Matt Reeves, & Cade Stone
Join us today for a truly transformative episode as we get to hear the profound impact of Romans 8:28. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Today, I have the privilege of sitting down with three remarkable brothers—Thomas, Taylor, and Matt Reeves—alongside their close friend, Cade Stone. Together, they share the deeply personal and inspiring stories of navigating the loss of both their fathers in tragic ways. In March of 2021, Daren Reeves passed away due to complications from Covid-19. Witnessing the Reeves brothers mourn the loss of their father and find solace in their relationship with Jesus, Cade Stone played a crucial role during this challenging time. Tragically, just nine months later, Cade himself experienced the heart-wrenching loss of his father in a drowning accident on the Ouachita River. However, in the midst of these two devastating tragedies, the overarching theme emerges: "BUT GOD." Despite the pain, God used these heart-wrenching experiences to craft something beautiful. As we navigate through their stories, we witness these men surrendering their lives to Christ and, remarkably, getting baptized in the very same Ouachita River that claimed Cade Stone's father. This episode promises a powerful testimony of faith, resilience, and the profound ways in which God can turn sorrow into a source of strength and purpose. Don't miss this chance to witness the incredible journey of these men as they find redemption and renewal through their unwavering faith in the face of tragedy.

Ep 15: Tear Off the Roof...TB18
Today’s Episode is in memory of Tarver Braddock. As we gather with heavy hearts to navigate through a tragic loss that has shaken our community. The song by Brandon Lake, 'Tear Off the Roof,' takes on a profound meaning as we grapple with the untimely passing of a beloved young man, Tarver Braddock, in a tragic fire at his hunting camp on January 5, 2024. As we face the unanswerable questions—Why did this happen? How can this get better? What good can come from this?—we find ourselves in a space of collective grief and searching for a glimmer of hope. It's in these moments of profound loss that we echo the sentiments of this song—'Just get me to Jesus; I don't care how. In our quest for understanding and healing, we might not find immediate answers. The 'whys' and 'hows' may persist, but we anchor ourselves in the belief that Jesus is the source of Hope, Peace, Healing, and eternal life. Today, we share the collective pain of Tarver's departure, and we extend our hands, figuratively tearing off the roof, to be lowered at the feet of Jesus for solace and healing. As we struggle understand the mystery of life and death, may this podcast serve as a beacon of comfort. In times of sorrow, we discover the strength of our community, and together, we seek the embrace of Jesus for the answers that elude us. Let us find unity and healing as we remember Tarver Braddock and, as a community, strive to support one another. In times of darkness, may we find the courage to tear down the barriers that keep us from Jesus and allow His light to guide us through the shadows.

Ep. 1: My Story of Living Unaware
For the 1st 40 years of my life I lived unaware of who Jesus really was and what he really did for me. I was a typical box checking church attender at best. I had never heard of having a personal relationship with Jesus, having a personal prayer life, that reading the Bible was a key element in developing this relationship. I was extremely unaware of what following Jesus truly looked like. My prayer is that my life story will help someone else realize that they too are living unaware. I pray that my story will point someone else to Jesus. It is not pretty, but it is my story of how I lived before meeting Jesus.
