Auxano: Causes of Growth Podcast

Hi guys, after a unplanned hiatus the podcast returns with a Father's day podcast. Client work has been getting ridiculously busy which is great but that means it detracts from the pod. In this episode we speak with my father! We did a mother's day podcast episode so it was only fair my Father got a podcast episode too. My father has been such a strong influence in what I have done today. I've accomplished all I have because of the weight and sacrifice of my family. I hope this episode will serve as an experience that you can have vicariously through conversation with my father. 

In this episode we dive deep into how Team Prevail, composed of Virginia Beach power couple Maddy and Rob, stepped into the world of business and entrepreneurship as high school sweethearts. They wanted to create a life together very early on, so instead of going to college, they went straight into the workforce and decided to create multiple different business. As minority business owners, they speak about how they are proud mentors of young kids who want to stretch their entrepreneurial legs who are still in school. In this conversation we go deep into conversations about legacy and why building for future generations is so important, even if you can't see the fruits of your labor. Maddy is a tech recruiter by day, while Rob is a Turo Fleet Agency owner. They speak about navigating the uncharted waters of being a couple simultaneously being business owners. And how they are able to compartmentalize doing both. 

Tom Lenhart is the founder of Grindstone Athletics in VB alongside Chase "The Weapon Walden". He spent the last seven years teaching English as a Second Language in Brazil, Thailand, Russia, Turkey, and South Korea and completed a second personal training certification through American Council on Exercise. Throughout his travels he has trained in several combat sports, particularly in Muay Thai. In this episode I speak with my Mother for a mother's day podcast special. As an asian family, sometimes feelings arent always spoken about in the most effective way. It took some convincing but my Mom was open to sharing her life story for everyone to hear despite her being insecure about being English as her second language. We hope this is a way for those without mothers in their current season of life, that you could siphon advice from my own mother and vicariously experience the deep love of family that took years to iron out and forge. P.S I didn't mean to make you cry twice in this podcast episode Mom :/ even though I wasn't yelling or trying to make you cry I guess the questions I asked dug deep. 

In this shorter episode, I answer the audience's question based off of a Instagram Q&A. The topics are mostly questions about myself or tips that people would ask me about. But a podcast episode more focused on my experiances/me. We are on episode 23 already. It has been an interesting walk thus far guys. 

In this episode I am joined with multi talented muscle mommy Ira Ramos. With a growing platform on Instagram she champions fitness and created a personal brand for herself. She is a growing artist and could easily be found at your local cons far and wide. Ira Ramos is a cosplayer, artist, and a proud daughter of Filipino immigrants. It has been the deepest pleasure getting to know her as a friend, but most especially as friends, showing our support in each other's corner when sales get slow, or the market doesn't look too hot. P.SGuys we are already at Episode 22 and this just super dope at this point. How he balances being a young father, and being a good CEO, on top of being a husband. That gave me the courage as a 21 year old to go out and buy my first property, which is now my first rental property. And that lamp-post I was able to take with me as I blindly walked through the dark. Our mantra "Action done in repetition become the subconscious mind." That has taken me far in life, and will take me further still. 

In this episode, Lucas Connolly talks about RecruitMilitary and what the non-profit does for veterans who are transitioning out. RecruitMilitary bridges military talent to fortune 500-50 companies. Because although I've spoken with many other people I've never had an episode with someone who drew source of power from the desire to honor his family. Of this I related to him deeply. As a young man, I had lived in devotion to my family and worked hard to make sure my mother and father would never be homeless or be in transient housing again. Back from a rather long hiatus yall. We as a company have been busy looking for more work and sustaining our monthly retainers. But I myself, have been focusing on trying to actually create better edits and do better thumbnails, one video at a time.
