Fathers Day Podcast. Bong Deseo- Life advice to Young Fathers
Hi guys, after a unplanned hiatus the podcast returns with a Father's day podcast. Client work has been getting ridiculously busy which is great but that means it detracts from the pod. In this episode we speak with my father! We did a mother's day podcast episode so it was only fair my Father got a podcast episode too. My father has been such a strong influence in what I have done today. I've accomplished all I have because of the weight and sacrifice of my family. I hope this episode will serve as an experience that you can have vicariously through conversation with my father.

Overcoming the odds. Prevail Clothing Company. Auxano #26
In this episode we dive deep into how Team Prevail, composed of Virginia Beach power couple Maddy and Rob, stepped into the world of business and entrepreneurship as high school sweethearts. As minority business owners, they speak about how they are proud mentors of young kids who want to stretch their entrepreneurial legs who are still in school. In this conversation we go deep into conversations about legacy and why building for future generations is so important, even if you can't see the fruits of your labor. Maddy is a tech recruiter by day, while Rob is a Turo Fleet Agency owner. They speak about navigating the uncharted waters of being a couple simultaneously being business owners. And how they are able to compartmentalize doing both.

Mothers Day. Sonia Deseo: Getting out of poverty, Raising Kids, Pushing past failure. Auxano Podcast #24
In this episode I speak with my Mother for a mother's day podcast special. As an asian family, sometimes feelings arent always spoken about in the most effective way. It took some convincing but my Mom was open to sharing her life story for everyone to hear despite her being insecure about being English as her second language. We hope this is a way for those without mothers in their current season of life, that you could siphon advice from my own mother and vicariously experience the deep love of family that took years to iron out and forge. P.S I didn't mean to make you cry twice in this podcast episode Mom :/ even though I wasn't yelling or trying to make you cry I guess the questions I asked dug deep.

Moving on in life with Dancing. Seji Gaerlan. Syde Project, Creative Director of Syde Project. Auxano #19
Guys like in the video my audio cut off unfortunately. So the audio quality will not be as crisp because the audio is coming from the cameras itself. Not very proud that my XLR cable broke. But learning lessons. In this episode, we dive into Seji being a Filipino immigrant moving into America and finding identity. After a rough year and heart break, Seji dove deep into dance and doubled down and created the Syde Project and is now the Editor in chief of his other company PRSPCTV Magazine. We also have an introspective conversation on why he wished he could be an astronaut, and how that would have been an eye opening perspective (No pun intended.)https://www.instagram.com/daskusej/https://www.instagram.com/thesydeproject/https://www.instagram.com/theprspctvmag/P.SGuys, one episode before episode 20. Pretty insane that I could be saying that now.I get to podcast with an old classmate during my Freshman year of high school. How odd it is that we have both decided to go into Multi-media when our parents were pressuring us to get into the medical field. Its been nothing but a deep blessing to get to this point and observe the beautiful things he has done. -Beau DeseoHost of the Auxano Podcast.

Cultivation, Transition, Nursing. Timothy Bruce: Auxano Podcast #18
In this episode of the podcast, I sit with Tim Bruce, one of my old squad mates from my Active Duty Navy days. We dive deep in talking about cultivating identity, life in transition, and why he chose Nursing over becoming a Physical therapist. Timothy Bruce is the complete opposite of who I am as a person, but as they say opposites attract. Polarity. During difficult times we were both there for each other. Today's episode does feature a lot more cursing as we are both sailors with potty mouths. But at the end of the day, we are also not sailors anymore and are growing into the people we are meant to be so here is that disclaimer.

Air is BEAUTIFUL. Brenden Rivera. Auxano Podcast #17
In today's episode we dive deep with Brenden Rivera. A singer/songwriter whose own lungs almost took his life. Brenden dives deep and talks about how having a near death experience made time more precious. How decisiveness became more beautiful and how empathy began and self centeredness ended. How through suffering, we gain perspective, and comprehension. And through the power of mantra we can overcome the difficult things, big or small. P.S Brenden is one of my best friends. Without his guidance, counsel, and comradery I would have been in a much different place, or not in any place at all. The way he lives life, and continues to live inspires me and propels me further with hope, inspiration, and love. So Brenden if you are reading this, just know that you have been a lamp-post of light in one of the darkest places of my life. And that lamp-post I was able to take with me as I blindly walked through the dark. Our mantra "Action done in repetition become the subconscious mind." That has taken me far in life, and will take me further still.

Start Martial arts TODAY. Geno Quintin, Tik Tok, Family. Auxano #14
In todays episode we talk with growing Tiktok star Geno Quintin. With over 10.3 Million likes and a following of 377k, we get to dive into the mind of who Geno Quintin is. But before he is a content creator, and a martial artist, he is a son who loves his family and loves the Filipino culture. We get to hear the touching story of how his roots give him power to accomplish anything and everything he continues to accomplish. As well as his devotion to the martial arts and the desire to help all learn it. P.S This episode was very strong for me. Because although I've spoken with many other people I've never had an episode with someone who drew source of power from the desire to honor his family. Of this I related to him deeply. As a young man, I had lived in devotion to my family and worked hard to make sure my mother and father would never be homeless or be in transient housing again. Now as a man who is 26, after fulfilling my honor obligations to my family I am looking for ways to now honor myself. -Host of the Auxano PodcastBeau Deseo
