Sensitive Jerks and Toxic Behaviours of "Like-minded" People
Today I'm disrupting the naiveté of many HSPs and Empaths. The goal is to disillusion you about the idea that sensitive folks as generally "good" by default. The problem is that HSPs can easily fall into their romantic ideas or spiritual communities, soul connections, and all that jazz, because it feels good to believe that. They might ignore the facts and their sense of the situation. However, jerks, manipulators, and other toxic people wear all kinds of mask. They can also speak softly spiritual words and burn the candle. Under all that, might be a total jerk or even a toxic individual. In fact we can also be jerks at times, so no need to pretend to be something better than we are. HSP Healing Trauma as Public Service
Naturally relational sensitive people take in a lot during their lifetime. Many had adverse childhood, and even if it was not a trauma with a capital T, it affected them in such way. Being different means being often rejected, and the inner work that HSP do as they start healing their trauma, in my view, extends far beyond individual benefits. Why do INFJ have a hard time with not being seen?
I’m not attached to things but there are a few books I regret reselling. One of them was titled “The Invisible Child” by Tove Jansson. It was a story about a child who ceased to appear as a result of abuse, neglect and not being loved. What was left was a dress and a bow. I still have a tote bag with that picture.Many INFJ, INFP, and Highly sensitive people have that experience of not feeling seen. By their family members, by friends, by co-workers and bosses. Even by potential clients and their audience.Do you sometimes feel that way?Maybe your opinions are not valued, maybe your partner doesn’t listen to or look at you when you share something important. Your contribution is not being acknowledged. Or something you’re expressing is not finding the right soil to nourish. In today’s video I talk about many reasons why sensitive people and introverted, intuitive folks especially might struggle with that feeling.The reasons why are important, because they do point to the root causes of this wounding. What I wanted to do as well was to offer a few journaling prompts that can help you create small shifts in awareness that can guide a change in energy and behaviour. One of serious and often missed challenges in the lives of INFJ and many other Highly Sensitive People (HSP) has to do with trying to control life and others.Those who became aware of this habit might have generated an added stress of feeling guilty of trying to control your friends or romantic partners to take your advice or do something "your way". How I navigate the inner and outer chaos as INFJ, empath & a highly sensitive person
✨Hey, my sensitive and intuitive people! The world is changing and we are changing. But not without an intense chaos that's escalating as we move into a new earth. As an INFJ, an empath and a very sensitive person I can feel the pressure intensifying and thought it would be good to share how I view this time and how I navigate this process of sieving through my parts of identity and old choices as I move to the “next level”, to the new earth that’s unravelling. "Am I highly sensitive person or just traumatised?" I hear this question a lot. Today I talk about of developing and increasing high sensitivity that is so misunderstood and confused even by the thought leaders of this subject.
