Guidepost #10 Cultivating Laughter, Song & Dance
In this episode I talk about the final guidepost to wholehearted living, cultivating laughter, song and dance. Life is supposed to be fun, adventurous, curious. We are supposed to have fun along the way, and laughing, singing and dancing are 3 ways to raise your vibration, mood and let loose. These three elements also are forms of self expression, moving stagnant energy and giving a feeling of freedom through that expression. Dancing has a bonus feature where it supports brain and cognitive function through activating the hippocampus that is stimulated by recalling the choreographed steps and sequences in a dance. Learning dance sequences, patterns also require retaining information about timing, sequence, spatial relationships to others. Be brave and laugh, sing and dance.

Welcome to Season 3!! In this episode, I am continuing my discussion of the 10 Guideposts to Wholehearted Living, today I discuss Guidepost #9 and cultivating meaningful work. Finding fulfilment & purpose in your work, could be a hobby, could be volunteering, but it drives you, brings you joy, fills you up. I also discuss letting go of self doubt and the feeling and/or pressure of how that work is "supposed to be" or "what it is supposed to look like." Engaging in work that genuinely connects with you, and aligns with your values, hobbies, and lights up your mind, body and spirit. We are here to share our gifts and talents, the energy projected out when we have purpose and meaning is contagious and can be felt!

I also speak about trust and trusting the process of how the universe is working behind the scenes to make things happen. Remember everything begins with self concept, your thoughts, beliefs, actions, emotions are powerful...are you using them for your higher good? In this, you also have to trust the process.

In this episode, I will speak about gratitude and joy which are the highest vibration on the emotion scale right behind love. I will talk about what gratitude is, the stages of gratitude and how shifting your mindset to gratitude shifts your mindset and creates those new neuropathways for that better, high vibing you. Learning to come from a what is this trying to teach me mindset on tough, challenging matters is a game changer when being grateful for the lesson. Joy comes hand in hand with gratitude., coming from these raises your vibration and also brings more gratitude and joy into your life.

This week, I talk about the 2d guidepost - self compassion. I also talk about the 3 main elements in supporting you in becoming more self compassionate to yourself. I also speak of perfectionism (it is the opposite of self compassion) and how it does not exist, and to stop striving to achieve it.

In this episode, I will recap self concept and what wholehearted living is. I then will tap into the first guidepost, which is authenticity. I talk about what authenticity is, are you being authentic? Do you keep your personal power? Do you have boundaries? Do you say no to the things you don't want to do? Do you express yourself freely, openly and honestly?In being your true self, you are energetically in alignment with yourself and vibing at a high level. Being authentic is one of the major assets that make a person attractive.

Living Wholeheartedly
Piggybacking on my last episode on self concept, today I recap what that is, and begin talking about Brene Brown's definition wholehearted living and mentioning the guideposts in living a wholehearted life. Remember, you have to love yourself first, know that you are enough just as you are in this moment...flaws, quirks and all, and are worthy and deserving all that you want and desire. Changing our narrative, thought process, becoming the queen and divine feminine we are inside takes practice and work. You are cultivating the seeds for new neuropathways and the person you want to be, and the life that you desire.

I will discuss what a body scan is in assessing where your body is at at the present moment, and what it is feeling. The Emotional Spiral is another tool in assessing your feelings, where on the vibrational scale your current feelings are at and how does your body feel I that feeling/emotion/vibration. Knowing our body, the signals it gives us, addressing and working through those feeling & emotions to heal. In doing so, raises our energy level, frequency and vibration.
