Jenelle shares insights from a friendship breakup, the importance of radical responsibility, and how corporate environments can train women to filter themselves. From Invisible to Invincible: Karen Rae's Journey of Self-Empowerment

From “I Got It” to Letting Go: Over-Functioning, Feeling Invisible & Being Brave with Karen RaeIn this episode I have the honor of interviewing my dear friend and peer, Karen Rae, the owner of FAVE and the Being Brave tour. We explore how “I got it” can show up as control, over-functioning, and taking on others’ feelings, and how surrender, trust, and receiving can create deeper connections. Karen shares that during her divorce she realized she felt “invisible” in her own life, prompting tears, self-reflection, and a long, layered process of awareness, and taking responsibility for herself rather than carrying everyone else. They discuss letting people make their own choices, the exhaustion of doing it all alone, and rediscovering the vibrant, fearless self that can get buried. Karen shares a free downloadable Being Brave Tour magazine and supporting podcast that both offer short reflections, prompts, exercises, and ways to connect with fellow featured brave women.00:00 Welcome and Guest Intro01:01 Being Brave and I Got It Girl03:26 Control vs Surrender04:51 Overfunctioning and Divorce06:27 The Invisible Moment09:36 Awareness and Letting Go12:24 Pause Assess Respond14:55 Welcome Back Vibrancy16:23 Reclaiming Childlike Creativity17:27 Nature and Community Lessons18:20 Unmasked Mini Reflections19:08 Free Magazine Highlights20:58 Podcast Companion Series22:00 Women With Wealth Vision22:57 You Are Not Alone23:58 Dropping the Do It All27:30 Letting Go With Kids30:42 Empty Nest Identity Shift32:22 Where to Find Karen33:34 Allow Yourself to Receive34:07 Final Thanks and SubscribeYou can find Karen and her Free offer here: Direct link to Being Brave Magazine - Jackie Cote feature: https://heyzine.com/flip-book/e318e40780.htmlwww.favelifestyles.app https://www.facebook.com/groups/1376732479321793For all things Coach Jackie click here https://destinymakers.net/linksYou will find access to all my programs, freebies, and ways to create your freedom life!

From Rock Bottom to World Travel: Sandy’s Letting Go StoryIn this episode I get to hang out with Sandy, a trilingual world traveler originally from Germany who has been to 39 countries and now runs “Just Travel with Sandy,” leads group tours, and wrote a book about how travel shaped her life.Sandy shares her “I Got it Girl” turning point of leaving her marriage after spending 28 years with an alcoholic husband. When he threatened their teenage daughter, Sandy asked him to leave and was quickly evicted while being financially dependent and forced to start her life over. She describes hitting rock bottom, food stamps, odd jobs, giving up her horses, yet feeling happier than she was while rebuilding for her kids. Later realizing that she stayed for the kids but staying “for the children” can harm them more than help them. Sandy credits her new life to a deep spiritual practice, Dr. David Hawkins’ “Letting Go” book, and trusting that life happens for us, not to us. Embrace the Power of Your Story: Insights from a Broadcast Veteran with Laurie Hardie

In this episode of the I Got It Girl podcast, I get the honor to interview Laurie Hardie, who inspired me to start podcasting as a way to share stories and remind women they don’t have to carry everything alone. Laurie reflects on her “I Got it Girl” years as a single mom without support, the pressure of unrealistic expectations, and learning to let go in small ways, like accepting a sock basket and dishes in the sink without shame. We discuss coaching and the importance of deep listening, reflection on our Enneagram number, the “helper” (and its unhealthy patterns), and how control and survival can block deeper love and connection. Laurie shares her path from radio to paid radio shows, writing a book, navigating being an empty nester and community loss. She now is helping women launch podcasts by empowering them on how to do it themselves and grow successfully. She closed on how storytelling is your legacy and speaking the truth without attachment and knowing you are making a difference. 00:00 Welcome and Inspiration01:08 Why Coaches Need Podcasts02:12 Laurie’s Single Mom Story04:00 Enneagram Two Lessons05:38 Jackie’s Helper Shadow08:01 Survival and Control10:29 Letting Go Starts Small13:14 Empty Nest Shift14:58 Believe Versus Lie16:25 Rewriting the Inner Story18:26 Teaching Clients to Fish19:11 Presence Over Presents20:04 Coaching Is Listening21:10 Back to Radio21:46 Talk Like One Person23:14 Power of One Story23:56 Free Content Builds Trust26:12 Where to Find Laurie28:25 Story as Legacy30:15 Detach From Results32:05 Why Stories Work32:50 Closing Thanks and SubscribeYou find and follow up with Laurie at http://www.coachlaurie.comFor all things Coach Jackie click here https://destinymakers.net/linksYou will find access to all my programs, freebies, and ways to create your freedom life!

From Hiding to Blossoming: The Empowerment Journey with Jennifer Nichols

In this I Got It Girl podcast episode I get to shine the light on my business peer and dear friend Jennifer Nichols, who shares how a lifetime of coping alone, shaped by being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at eight and managing family crises including her father’s illness and death, fed an “I Got it Girl” mentality that made it hard to ask for help. Jennifer recounts a traumatic period beginning in 2010 when she was harassed and effectively stalked by a man, leading to fear, isolation, business shutdown, court involvement, and a moment where others finally stepped in to support her, including getting a protective order. She explains how surrendering control, speaking up, and accepting help helped her reclaim her voice and power, and how the experience led her to build an accidental social media business focused on simplifying marketing and helping others stop hiding. Finding Ease: The Art of Letting Go and Trusting the Journey with Veronica Norwood

Finding Ease: The Art of Letting Go and Trusting the Journey with Veronica NorwoodToday we interview Veronica Norwood, a longtime hairdresser and entrepreneur with experience in home-based and network marketing businesses who now focuses on coaching, team building, and transformations. Veronica shares how her coaching often shifts from “doing” in business to “being,” helping clients remove internal blocks through self-love practices like mirror work so outer results can flow more easily. Jackie and Veronica discuss how business is “20% strategy and 80% mindset,” and how inner work can improve multiple areas such as relationships, health, and finances. Veronica explains her own shift from control and resistance to trust and receiving, which contributed to meeting a partner through online dating and feeling safer than ever in a relationship, while learning to self-soothe triggers with reminders like “you’re safe.” They cover tools for navigating chaotic “gap” moments—breathing, tapping, meditation, journaling, supportive relationships—and the importance of practicing regulation skills before crises. Veronica closes with lessons from bodybuilding about the mind-muscle connection, presence, accepting a new identity, and remembering you’re a master creator.00:00 Warm Welcome00:25 Meet Veronica02:07 Coaching Breakthroughs03:47 Business to Being05:50 Letting Go Control09:00 New Relationship Ease13:15 Receiving and Rewiring19:20 Tools for the Gap23:17 Start Simple Practices25:58 Where to Find Veronica26:44 Final Tip Be Present29:09 Closing GoodbyeFor all thing Veronica Norwood click hereFor all things Coach Jackie click here

Trusting the Journey and Discovering Personal Freedom with Shawna Rasch

Trusting the Journey and Discovering Personal Freedom with Shawna RaschIn this episode I get to interview my friend and longtime client Shawna Rasch from Houston, Texas about her seven-year personal development journey. Shawna shares how hearing about life coaching at a work conference led her to work with her first coach who helped her recognize that her intense need for control that was rooted in a chaotic childhood, was driving burnout, strained relationships, and 60+ hour workweeks. Through coaching, parts work, and learning to set boundaries and say no, she began healing and experiencing major shifts in her marriage and relationships with her children. In 2022, despite fear and no job lined up, Shawna resigned from a role she once planned to retire from, moved into flexible contract work in her own consulting business, Rasch Innovative Solutions, and later launched her nonprofit Biscuits Cat Haven and invites listeners to connect and donate to her mission. 00:00 Welcome and Meet Shawna01:02 How Coaching Found Her05:06 Control and Career Pressure08:09 The Alignment Question10:16 First Year of Coaching11:34 Control as a Safety Mechanism13:14 Parts Work and Inner Safety16:00 Growth Spiral and Old Coping20:41 Stepping Into Entrepreneurship22:01 Boundaries And Alignment22:59 Leaving The W225:02 Fire Over Fear26:41 Finding The Next Path28:20 Building A New Role30:36 Support Through The Gap32:42 Healing Ripples Outward34:28 Investing In Yourself37:30 Connect And DonateIf you would like to contact Shawna directly about her consulting company you can reach her at [email protected] Here is everything Biscuits Cat Haven if you would like to follow their mission and donate if possible. https://www.facebook.com/biscuitscathaven/ https://www.instagram.com/biscuitscathaven/ https://www.tiktok.com/@biscuits.cat.haven https://www.biscuitscathaven.com For all things Coach Jackie click hereYou will find access to all my programs, freebies, and ways to create your freedom life!

Reinvention, Human Design & The Rules Aren’t Real with Meghan Stockman

From Survival Mode to Self-Trust: Meghan Stockman on Reinvention, Human Design & The Rules Aren’t RealJackie welcomes Meghan Stockman to the I Got It Girl podcast to discuss Meghan’s reinvention path—from Air Force weather and space weather forecaster to aerial photographer, to creating Kid Space (a STEM-focused indoor playground with a planetarium and espresso café), and now coaching high-achieving women. Meghan shares how COVID shutdowns and $50,000/month overhead pushed her from intuitive trust into hyper-control, anxiety, and “forecasting” worst-case scenarios, leaving her nervous system depleted even after Kid Space rebounded with its best year in 2023. She explains how returning to the present moment and using tools like human design helped her reconnect to her natural operating style, stop looking externally for answers, and rebuild self-trust. Meghan outlines her “four core stories” method for identifying the narratives that block intuition and change, emphasizing her key message: the rules aren’t real—and you can unlock the cage you’ve built.00:00 Welcome to the Podcast00:41 Meghan’s Many Lives01:29 Creating Kid Space02:20 How They Met03:41 COVID and Control Mode08:08 Survival Stress and Recovery13:38 Coaching and Human Design16:45 Permission to Be You20:06 Four Core Stories Method24:14 Rules Aren’t Real25:35 Final Takeaways and Where to Find MeghanYou can find Meghan at the following links:www.meghanstockman.comhttps://linktr.ee/meghanstockmanFor all things Coach Jackie click hereYou will find access to all my programs, freebies, and ways to create your freedom life!

Bisi shares her concept of the “Liberated woman,” shaped by growing up in Nigeria within a prescribed path for children and women, and explains how choosing her own path created ongoing family tension. She describes leaving a 22-year corporate finance career in 2019 to build her coaching business, discusses how inner knowing gets quiet under social “normal” pressures and fear of loss, and defines “outgrown” as when an old life can’t hold the new you. Embracing Challenges: The Gift of Adversity in 2024

Embracing Challenges: The Gift of Adversity in 2024Coach Jackie shares why 2024 became her “SmackDown year” and how adversity brought unexpected gifts. After she and her husband paused their nomadic RV life in Gypsum, Colorado, she returned to New Jersey when her stepmom was hospitalized and she learned her dad had early-onset dementia. Jackie became his primary caretaker for two months, learned she couldn’t do it alone, and ultimately helped place him in memory care. She also returned to advocate for her stepmom’s care, helped and witnessed her shift from control to surrender before she passed in November 2024. Jackie then supported her stepdaughter through a surgery after being hit head on the evening of our wedding. Spending 8–9 months away from home helped her deepen her marriage and reinforced her mission to help women release fear-based control.
