#22 Greta Maxfield - CEO of Make-A-Wish Wyoming
Greta Maxfield is the CEO of Make-A-Wish Wyoming. Greta is passionate about the impact of non-profit organizations and communities, as well as social work education, with a master's in social work focused on non-profit leadership.Greta has spent most of her professional life in the nonprofit sector, including organizations focused on youth and family development, housing stability, and volunteerism and philanthropy. She has also taught in the Division of Social Work with the University of Wyoming since 2015 in the classroom, online, and as a field instructor.She has an incredibly supportive husband and a kiddo who is currently attending law school. She enjoys caring for her family, playing with her two dogs, reading, yoga, hiking and traveling.

#21 Dr. Amanda DeDiego - Interim Dean at the University of Wyoming at Casper and an Associate Professor of Counseling at the University of Wyoming
Dr. DeDiego is an interim dean at the University of Wyoming at Casper and an associate professor of counseling at the University of Wyoming. She has a PhD in counselor education from the University of Tennessee and a master's in community counseling from the University of North Georgia. She's a licensed professional counselor and licensed auricular accomplished. As a researcher, she's committed to exploring contributions to health disparities in mental health care at various systemic levels and understanding issues of health equity for marginalized and underserved communities. She was featured as the mental health expert in Wyoming PBS series titled, A State of Mind: Confronting Our Mental Health Crisis, and has testified as a licensed professional counselor for the Wyoming legislature of issues of mental health needs and access in the state. She has also met with federal legislators and staff to address mental health access and workforce needs nationwide. Leadership has consistently been an important aspect of her career. In 2019, she was recognized by the American Counseling Association with the Robert H. Rankin Emerging Professional Leader Award. She has served in leadership positions for the American Counseling Association, Kai Sigma Iota International Honor Society, Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, Association for Creativity and Counseling, and Wyoming Counseling Association. She currently sits on the board for the Natrona Collective Health Trust, a non-profit organization with the largest private endowment in the state of Wyoming, dedicated to healthcare equity and access in Natrona country. She also sits on the board for the American Counseling Association, an international organization with over 60,000 members.

#20 Lucy Pauley - Coordinator of the Wyoming Agriculture and Natural Resource Mediation Program
Lucy is the coordinator of the Wyoming Agriculture and Natural Resource Mediation Program, which operates out of Wyoming Department of Agriculture in Cheyenne. The program provides mediation, facilitation, and other alternative dispute resolution services for individuals and organizations involved in a wide variety of conflicts including farm predate, grazing permits, water disputes, neighbor-to-neighbor conflicts, ag family issues and more. She has more than 20 years of experience mediating a wide variety of agricultural disputes and workplace conflicts. Lucy is also a certified farm succession coordinator and is available to help Wyoming farm and ranch families work through the succession planning process. Lucy grew up in Wyoming and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor's in animal sciences in 1995. She received her master's degree in public administration from UW in 2004 and has served and worked for the Department of Agriculture since 1996.

#19 Dr. Nick Whipps - Interim Director for the City of Casper's Parks Recreation Dept.
Dr. Nicholas is a municipal leader and community builder who believes that connection, clarity and encourage are at the heart of growth. He currently serves as an interim director for the city of Casper Parks Recreation and Public Facilities Department, where he overseas initiatives that enrich community life, promote wellness, and strengthen civic pride. A passionate advocate for parks, recreation, and public spaces, Nick believes that thriving communities begin with the places and programs that bring people together, where families connect, neighbors engage, and individuals find purpose through shared experiences. His work focuses on creating environments where people and communities can truly flourish. Nick is also the founder of WIPs Consulting, LLC, through which he has delivered leadership development programs, keynote talks across higher education, government and nonprofit. While his focus is currently fully on his work with the city of Casper, Nick continues to share insights through his active leadership blog where he writes about growth, motivation, and the human side of leadership. Nick's journey has been shaped by perseverance and faith.

#18 John Jorgensen - Wyoming Reads Founder
John Jorgensen is the proud father of five adult children and eight grandchildren. He retired in 2015 after a career of nearly 50 years in banking, finishing as president of Hilltop Bank. John became active in community affairs after moving to Casper in 1987, serving on numerous boards, including the Casper College Foundation Board for 35 years. On June 28th, 1996, John's wife, Dr. Sue Jorgensen, died in a tragic automobile accident. At the time of her death, Sue was serving as the first director of the newly created elementary education degree program at the University of Wyoming at Casper. She left behind five young children, the youngest of whom had just completed kindergarten. The Sue Jorgensen Library Foundation was established to keep Sue's memory alive for her children and for the community. What began in 1999 as Wyoming Reads reflects her passion for literacy and young children. This literacy celebration has grown and spread to other states beyond Wyoming and has been a statewide Wyoming celebration since 2006. In 2024, the Wyoming State Legislature passed the legislation declaring that the third Tuesday in May, a state holiday, Wyoming Reads Day. Since its inception, more than 155,000 personalized hardbacks have been distributed to Wyoming first graders. When considering these efforts of communities and other states, the number of books placed in the hands of children exceeds 300,000. The Jorgensen family has also presented an award each spring to the outstanding graduating student in the UW-Casper Elementary Education degree program. Next spring will mark the 30th consecutive year of presenting that award.

#17 Shane Chaney - Chief of Police Casper, WY
Today, we have Chief Shane Chaney. With a career spanning over 30 years in law enforcement, Chief Chaney has dedicated his professional life to building trust, ensuring safety, and enhancing the quality of life for the citizens of Casper. From his early days as a canine handler to his appointment as chief of police in 2025, Chief Chaney has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to his officers and the community. In 2025, Chief Chaney was honored to be appointed as the Chief of Police for the Casper Police Department. His career, built on trust, transparency, and a commitment to excellence, reflects his unwavering dedication to doing what is best for both the officers under his command and the citizens they serve. Chief Chaney remains focused on continuing to build a department that reflects the highest standards of integrity and service. His leadership is centered around collaboration, Community engagement, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all those in Casper.

#16 Cheyenne Crouch - Lift Wyoming Ambassador
Cheyenne is an active Lift Wyoming ambassador and trustee scholarship winner who advocates for the empowerment of individuals and communities across the state of Wyoming. A strong passion for leadership has led her to become the assistant manager of Metro Coffee Company and allows her to continually improve her leadership abilities, emphasizing communication, integrity, and innovation, ensuring that both people and projects thrive under her direction.

#15 Karol Santistevan - Founder of Ropes and Roses Therapy Services
Karol Santistevan is an occupational therapist specialized in mental health, utilizing equine and animal assistance therapy. She's the founder of Ropes and Roses Therapy Services in Casper, Wyoming, where she integrates nature-based therapy approaches to support individuals with autism, PTSD, and other neurodevelopmental challenges. She mentors several students per year who will be future practitioners and professionals. In addition to her clinical work, Carol teaches at Casper College and continues research as best practices in the field of occupational therapy. She's a clinical specialist for autism spectrum disorder, ASDCS, and an accredited DIR floor time practitioner. Carol is on the board of the University of Wyoming Organizational Leadership.

#14 Dana Howie - Natrona County School Board Member
Dana Howie began teaching family life and child development at Kelly Walsh High School in Casper in 1980, later expanding her courses to include basic foods, nutrition, interior design, survival skills for life, and eventually catering. After retiring in 2008, she sought a way to contribute to her community. Wanting to remain involved in education, she ran for the Natrona County School District School Board and has served since 2012. Her 28 years of experience as a high school teacher shape her perspective on board issues. While recent challenges have added complexity, her focus remains steadfast on what is best for students in the district.

Dr. Guyla Greenly is on a mission to transform workplaces from toxic battlegrounds into thriving, productive environments. As the founder of Dandelion Leadership Coaching, she helps companies and professionals foster self-awareness, improve team dynamics, and create sustainable workplace habits using her signature WISH Method.With a doctorate in strategic leadership, a background in journalism, and certifications in workplace coaching, personality type assessment, and toxicity prevention, Dr. Greenly brings a unique blend of insight, strategy, and humor to her work. She’s also an author, speaker, and workshop facilitator, known for her engaging approach to tackling tough workplace challenges.When she’s not coaching or writing, you’ll find her babysitting her granddaughter, serving on nonprofit boards, or planning her next big adventure. #12 - Mike Howe Public Affairs Professional
Mike Howe is a public affairs professional with over 25 years of experience in the energy industry. A proud Wyoming native, Mike has been professionally and socially active in the state for many years. His career began in Wyoming with the Wyoming Municipal Power Agency, followed by roles as an advisor to Governor Jim Geringer and as a policy analyst for Governor Dave Freudenthal, focusing on local government and transportation issues. He later spent time as a full-time college instructor and worked for utility companies in Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. In addition to his work in energy, Mike is a widely published freelance writer and previously hosted a syndicated radio program. A committed civic leader, Mike has served on numerous nonprofit boards, chambers of commerce, advisory boards, and professional and trade associations. He has been an active Rotarian for over 15 years and is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Casper. Mike earned his B.S. in Political Science from the University of Wyoming and his M.A. in Political Science from Midwestern State University in Texas.

#11 - Lance Porter CEO of Banner Wyoming Medical Center
Mr. Lance Porter, he is the CEO of Banner Wyoming Medical Center. He was previously the CEO of Banner Payson Medical Center, a position he was appointed to one year prior to the hospital being acquired by Banner Health. He was instrumental in guiding the facility, its employees, and patients through the transition into the Banner family. Prior to Banner Payson, Porter was chief operating officer of Cottage Hospital a 77-bed acute care hospital in Galesburg, Illinois. There he was responsible for all the ancillary departments and its many clinical outpatient programs. Before moving into the operation side of healthcare, Porter worked primarily in stroke and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation. Porter holds a bachelor's degree from Bigram Young University in Provo, Utah, and a master's in speech and language pathology from Arizona State University. He also has a master's in business administration from the University of Rochester in New York.

#10 Richard Plumlee Director of Operations for the Food Bank of Wyoming
Richard Plumlee is the Director of Operations for the Food Bank of Wyoming and has worked to develop innovative solutions to address food insecurity throughout the state for the last 5 years. Richard has been heavily involved with non-profits since 2008, primarily focusing on food banking, emergency management and disaster preparedness. Prior to relocating to Wyoming in 2019, Richard served as the Director of Inventory and Food Safety for the San Antonio Food Bank, as well as Vice President for the San Antonio chapter of Volunteer Organizations Active In Disasters (SA-VOAD) an organization focusing on community resiliency, disaster response and preparedness in collaboration with city, state and federal agencies. Richard is a 2015 highest honors graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, earning dual bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology. Richard is also a 2024 graduate of Leadership Casper and is currently a graduate student pursuing his master’s degree in public administration through the University of Wyoming. He has an intrinsic passion for helping others and enjoys spending time with his artistically talented wife and two equally amazing adult daughters.

#09 - Steve Freel
Steve Friel is a proud Wyoming native hailing from a family with deep roots in the state. As a third generation Wyomingite, Steve has a profound appreciation for the rugged, beauty and independent spirit that characterizes the cowboy state. Steve's professional journey led him to serve his community for over 26 years in law enforcement. His unwavering dedication and commitment to public safety were evident throughout his career.Which culminated in his retirement as an esteemed assistant chief from the Casper Police Department. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in shaping departmental policies, implementing innovative crime prevention strategies, and fostering positive community relations. Recognized for his leadership qualities and passion for community development, Steve transitioned into public service and successfully served as both vice mayor and mayor in his beloved hometown Casper.Over two terms as mayor, he spearheaded various initiatives to enhance the quality of life for residents, prioritizing economic growth, infrastructure improvements, and sustainable development.Steve also occupied the role of a Natrona County Commissioner where he continued to contribute his invaluable expertise to the betterment of the entire county. In this position, he tackled a wide array of pressing issues ranging from public safety to land management, striving to ensure the well-being and prosperity of every citizen. Parallel to his public service endeavors, Steve has carved out a successful career in the real estate industry.His deep rooted love for Wyoming continues to drive his unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of his fellow fellow Wyomingites. With his combined experiences in law enforcement, public service and real estate, Steve Freel stands as a true embodiment of Wyoming spirit, a resilient community oriented leader who dedicates himself to the betterment of his beloved state and its people.

#08 - Anna Kinder Executive Director of the Casper-Natrona Health Department
Anna Kinder is the current Executive Director of the Casper-Natrona County Health Departmentand the recipient of the 2023 Casper College Alumni Association’s Distinguished Alumni Award.She has a background in healthcare and public health, graduated from Casper College in 1987with an Associate of Science, earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from theUniversity of North Dakota in 1991, and completed a Master of Science in OccupationalTherapy at Colorado State University in 2000.Anna began her career in private practice, mental health, and education before transitioning intopublic health. In addition to her leadership role, she teaches for the University of WyomingCasper’s online certificates program, bringing her extensive experience to guide the nextgeneration of professionals.

#07 - Robbie Alexander Developing Market Officer
Robbie Alexander is currently the Developing Markets officer for Farm Credit Services of America. Robbie has been involved in lending since 2015 and spends the majority of the time focused on young and beginning farms and ranches in this role, he has the opportunity to follow his passion of working with farmers and ranchers by helping them reach their dreams in the agricultural industry. Robbie grew up in Western Kentucky working as a farm and ranch hand for various operations. Robbie graduated from Murray State University where he acquired a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in agricultural science with an emphasis in education. In his free time, you can often find him spending time with his wife and young daughter, on horseback or helping neighboring ranches.

Caleb is not only committed to his own academic and professional growth, but also to empowering fellow veterans as they transition into civilian life. As a leader within the Student Veterans of America SVA Chapter, Caleb brings a unique passion for advocacy and support, working tirelessly to foster a welcoming and supportive environment for veterans. Leveraging his knowledge in organizational dynamics and leadership strategies, he is on a mission to drive impactful change within the veteran community. Caleb Lindsay is one of 32 student veterans in the United States to receive a 2023 Student Veteran Leadership Award.Student Veterans of America Contact - 307-268-2510The on-campus Veterans Center is in the Walter H. He's also an assistant lecturer in the social work program at the University of Wyoming and a mental health therapist. He discussed servant leadership with a focus on community collaboration and its impact on driving meaningful change. Trying from his experience, in public service, nonprofit work, grassroots organizing, teaching, and mental health. Ray will explore how servant leadership principles create a strong foundation for resilient and inclusive communities.
