There are always lessons to be learned from other people. One of the hardest is to be happy for other people in their success and still driving yourself forward when you are feeling behind. Take Elon Musk for example, Paypal isn't what it is today without failure. He had to constantly change and evolve it to get better, same with Tesla and SpaceX. Read Issac Waltersons book on Elon and see how many failures he endured and now he is worth in the range of $250 billion. We all go about life with it happening to use versus us happening to life. Well, what do we mean about that? Kyle took sometime this summer to spend more time with his daughter and wife. While doing that he had a friend take over the mowing section of his business and didn't notice how much it was costing him till last second.  Now it didn't get out of hand it was something that was recoverable. But it definitely took him by surprise. If he acted with intent he would have managed his time better with his daughter and wife better so that he could still mow and bring the income to him specifically. A lesson Nick taught Kyle a few years ago when it came to running a business is that honesty is the best policy. When Kyle spoke to Nick about a project and the issues he was running into, Nick called out the BS. Honesty has since turned into a lifestyle for not only Nick but Kyle. The ability to tell a client what is going on like a vender not having the stone in the store in time, or machinery breaking causing a delay. It is always best to communicate these things as they happen to the customer so that they are aware in real time, and you aren't putting yourself in a corner to come up with an excuse as to why you didn't let them know.
