    Episode 25- John Chapter 6

Hey Guys!Wow, it's been a few weeks and we do apologize for the delay on this episode. Then enemy was coming at us from all angles every time we tried to record. We even did this entire episode then had a technical difficulty and couldn't publish it. HOWEVER, we have cancelled the enemy's assignment against this podcast IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME and we will not stop getting the Gospel to you no matter what. This episode covers John 6 where Jesus miraculously feeds the 5000 and later loses followers that don't understand what He is preaching. The major take away from this episode is "Do you know without a doubt that Jesus is who He says He is?" and also "Do you seek His face or do you seek what He can do for you?"We also announce our Mother's Day "Bless a Mom Giveaway." Nominate a mother in your life that is doing it all and could use a little financial help by donating $20. On Mother's Day we will draw a random name and that Mom will win all the donations given. We absolutely adore you guys.God Bless,Moms Convicted

    Episode 24- Jeanette Bradley

Jeanette Bradley, Rachel's Aunt, our mentor, and dear friend came on the podcast today to share her testimony. She tells us her story of trials, heartbreak, hope, and forgiveness through the eyes of woman who is so in love with Jesus. There were so many moments and lessons in this episode and one thing that really stood out was "forgiveness." We are called to forgive other and to forgive ourselves. This was a powerful conversation for us and we are forever grateful that God gave us Aunt Jeanette. This definitely won't be her only appearance on the podcast. XoxoMoms Convicted

    Episode 23- John Chapter 5

Diving in the Word today, we get in to John Chapter 5. Jesus visits the Pool of Bethesda, where sick people have been laying around waiting for the waters of the pool to heal them. Jesus heals a man that has been unable to walk for 38 years. Before doing so he asks the man "Do you want to get well?" We discuss this miracle and the fact that Pharisee's didn't even care about it because they only cared that Jesus broke the rules and healed on the Sabbath. This is where we see Jesus show us that He is equal to God. Knowing scripture doesn't equal knowing God and the Pharisees had spiritual blindness. John 5 reminds us that it's possible to be close to truth, study truth, and still miss the person of Jesus- and that true life is found not in religion, but in relationship with Him.XoxoMoms Convicted

    Episode 22- "Get Rooted."

You guys, it's been a few weeks since we have done an episode. We planned to cover John 5 today, but then prayed the Holy Spirit do His thing and then he did. We spend this episode catching you guys up on where we are at in life and our walk with Jesus. The Lord has been so, so good to us lately. The mentioned podcast Bible Study Podcast with Ang from Girls Gone Bible is linked below.XOXOMoms Convicted

    Episode 21- Speaking Life

"The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." Proverbs 18:21This episode we are talking about "speaking life" vs. "speaking death." We get into it with some of our personal experiences and what's currently going on in our lives. There are dozens of places in the Word that talk about how we should speak and there is science backed data that shows the effect negative thinking and speech has on things like our self-esteem and perception of life. The enemy uses the words we say out loud against us and often times it's the very words we speak that turn a little foothold into a stronghold. It's time to break that stuff off in Jesus name and start speaking life, love, and truth over ourselves and everyone around us.

  6. 22

Episode 20- John Chapter 4 "The Living Water"

Back in the Holy Bible we go! This episode we cover John Chapter 4 where Jesus meets the Samaritan woman and heals a young boy without even meeting him. This is such an amazing part of the book of John. Jesus really is the living water. If you drink of him, you will never be thirsty again.

  7. 21

    Episode 19- Goodbye Elise

We can't believe we are actually here! What better way to end the first season of Moms Convicted than to send off our girrrrrrl on her next big adventure! In case you guys have been under a rock or so deep in your Bible that you haven't heard, Elise is moving her family to Florida. We are devastated that she is leaving us, but also so incredibly happy for her. She has been such an integral part of Moms Convicted (giving us our name and getting us to like it lol) and she has been the best friend we both needed in motherhood. This isn't truly goodbye, it's see you later. Thank you for everything girl. We love you endlessly.XoxoMoms Convicted

    Episode 18- John Chapters 2 + 3

We are getting back into the book of John today, covering chapters 2 and 3. The first miracle Jesus performed was at a wedding when he transformed water in to wine. As he started to baptize people and gain a following, John the Baptist tells his disciple that He (Jesus) should become greater and greater and He (John the Baptist) should become less and less. John the Baptist knew his role was to usher in the Messiah. He was like a best man at a wedding... there to support Jesus as the Bridegroom when He marries his Bride (the New Covenant with his people.)What an amazing read and conversation we had. Thank you Jesus for bringing us together again and may we always glorify you. We love you so much.Thank you for listening XoxoMoms Convicted

    Episode 15- Proverbs 31 Woman

The 3 of us are back together again and Elise has a big announcement!!! We spend this episode catching up and reading Proverbs 31. Most of us fall short of this "ideal" wife described by King Soloman's mother, but through our Lord Jesus Christ there is hope for all of us to become like this woman. "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Proverbs 31:30

  12. 16

    Episode 14- Being Set Apart

This episode was simply a beatiful, raw, vulnerable hour of two friends talking about being set apart. There are challenges when we start to feel the separation between ourselves and the world, especially the world of recovery. Recovery taught us both to be inclusive, tolerant, and open-minded to all people's spiritual walks and the Bible tells us that we will be persecuted as Christians and that we are to be set apart from the world. We get real about the struggle when our walk with Jesus isn't accepted by others. "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-- his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2 NIV

  13. 15

Episode 13- Romans 6-8 "Life in the Spirit"

This episode with Bre and Rachel covering Romans 6-8 is so good. They talk about Life in the Spirit vs. Life in Sin. Getting deeper in to scripture with you all had been our goal from the beginning. We love you, Thank you for Listening.Thank you Jesus.

  14. 14

    Episode 12- BEING BOLD

We are back as a trio! Finally the three of us made it to the pod again. Thank you for being patient with us friends.Following the tragic death of Charlie Kirk, we are talking about being BOLD and sharing the TRUTH... the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This episode is so emotional for all of us. Join us as we cry and laugh and lift up the name of Jesus. We are no longer going to tiptoe around offending people. If it is in the Word, we are to preach it to others as Jesus' disciples. Thank you Lord for bringing us into this raw episode. It is all to glorify and bring us closer to you. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Everyone has a purpose and there is no greater purpose than raising up the disciples of the next generation. This is part 1 of Motherhood is a Ministry, a series that is so close to our hearts. God has brought us together through Motherhood and it is the very reason we started this podcast. We want to share our raw experiences of walking through Motherhood hand in hand with Jesus. "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward." Psalm 127:3"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6

Intro- Out with the old, In with the new

Surprise! Here it is... the big reveal. Welcome to Moms Convicted the Podcast. Ya'll know I had a podcast called Spiritually Sh*tty and it was such a beautiful journey learning about spirituality from the perspective of 10 amazing people. I loved it so much. HOWEVER... somewhere along the way of becoming a mom, making new relationships, and truly seeking more spiritually, I found Jesus. He led me to the conclusion that it was time for a new podcast journey. Two of my best friends were also having their own moment with Jesus and since we all had babies in the span of 3 weeks last year, it just made perfect since to start a podcast together. I'm so excited! We have lots to work on still... this is a temporary logo and we need to record using our new mics and interface, but we wanted to post this raw first episode as an intro for you guys. This won't be for everyone and that's okay. We plan on talking about motherhood, marriage, recovery, and everything in between from a Christ-centered point of view. Come laugh, cry, and grow with us friends!
